What got me was that he referred to Hitler as a Christian. That's laughable. Hitler was an Atheist who knew he had to tolerate Christianity in order to advance his agenda. Hitler expressed his disdain for orthodox Christianity; he felt it was a weak religion that made the German people too pacifist with its turn the other cheek and love your enemies message; he knew it was incompatible with his agenda and had a plan to slowly eradicate it out of German culture. In fact, strangely enough he had an affinity towards Islam and there are quotes from his private conversations where he discusses how he wished Islam would have been the German religion and not Christianity. He admired the Muslims for their hatred of the Jews. Politically, Hitler understood he had to tread very carefully in how he addressed the Christians because although Germany was not strongly Christian in practice a large majority was still sympathetic towards Christianity because it had historical significance. This is why him and his top leaders decided it was best to gradually destroy Christianity instead of an all out war against it.
Yeah, it's official- these guys are regressives. There's something about being wealthy and living in California that breeds this haughty, holier-than-thou ignorance.

It was among the first words to come out his mouth in ringside speech right after the fight, having just won against a non-white. He kinda relativized it with his next sentence being about how he respects all races, but it sure was strange. Nothing in Mark Hunt's statements so far suggest anything like racism, the reaction to his statement is just your typical PC nonsense.

I don't understand how they have a "audio engineer" that doesn't know how to balance mic levels....

Doesn't have anything to do with the he engineering. They are using directional mics and callen and schaub like to get animated and they will turn their heads away from the mic .if you were to slap a limiter onto the mic out so hard that it brought those quiet vocals up not only would it create crazy sibilance , it would distort the hell out of the signal during the 99% of the podcast in which they are speaking at a normal level. The most reasonable solution would be to make Brendan and Bryan wear headphones so they can hear the signal as they are going. I doubt there sound guy wants to use a mic with an omni directional pattern because it would pick up a lot more of the room reflections and noise from whatever else is going on in the other side of the studio.

i literally just explained why you cant just solve that with a limiter lol. but since it didnt sink through your brain the first time allow me to state it again. When you have such a large db discrepancy and you put a limiter to bring up the volume when they face away from the mic, you will get so much compression on the standard volume vox that it will distort the vocals to all hell.
Having the guys wear headphones is the only reasonable solution, which again has nothing to do with engineering

I'd like to hear other opinions on this topic, but here is my take: To say that Nazis 'were Christian' or that they were motivated by Christianity is ridiculous and very misleading on Callen's part. The Nazi party was a nationalist, secular movement. It really had nothing to do with God/god, Christianity, or any other religion. The Nazis hated Jewish people and Judaism, but that hatred did not stem from the Bible or from Christianity. Rather it overwhelmingly came from some warped, paranoid view of Jewish people and the economic/political power that they may or may not have wielded in German/European society. Again, I'd like to hear other opinions on this....
