I can’t be the only who got hype hearing the Enforcer theme song again
McBurn: becomes a literal demon overlord
Rean: * puts in Gungnir as first Master quartz *
* puts in Sirius as second *
* ads Rage quartz *
* casts shining *
" in vantage masters this is called a ' pro gamer move'..."
I had that same setup but on Crow. He’s one of the best members in battle
And it’s duel mobility long range or close range with 5 whole crafts although you’ll prob not use 3
Comes with an amazing Master Quartz and can easily fill role as sub caster. Great stats and once he joins he’s there tilll the end
Can’t lie. This fight was really fun for me. It was a good challenge and it was cool to see what McBurn was truly about when he’s not sandbagging you. Also that battle theme is on point.
I definitely have to say that McBurn definitely made more questions than answers for the series
Yeah I mean his story isn’t exactly fleshed out. It’s as if the game wants you to rewrite your own conclusion regarding this fool
But the mystery factor about his whole being is intriguing. Makes you wanna keep an eye on him and see what this big boys all about
@@georocks3810 And what I've seen of his scenes in Trails into Reverie it doesn't help but adds more mystery
@@NaLu_85uh he wasn’t even part of the main narrative in Reverie lol
He was the final member to join in the Corridor I mean he’s OP AF OBLIVION BLAZE CRIT 100% & CP 100
Come on. A craft that doubles HP.stats through the roof
I run a team of Rean Aurelia Mcburn & Vita
Or Lloyd Juna Emma Nadia
Fighting McBurn in CS2 and CS3 was some of the hardest fights in this whole series but this Demon Lord final fight was really fun. His theme is simply fantastic
God i thought i would never beat him the first time in CS2 final chapter....
It gave you the feeling like your up against a God a Legend from Erebonian History. It was a good idea to fight him before the showdown with Osborne. He’s like the semi-final trial. My TV volume was on 100 with the windows open I was JAMMING
After seeing McBurn’s title and seeing Kurt ask if McBurn is a devil I miss the jp, where Kurt calls McBurn a God and McBurns title was literally “fallen demon god”
To be honest, I kind of prefer the devil version.
Just did this fight, man that battle theme is so fitting for his form, really liked it
It's a remix of the original Enforcer theme from Trails in the Sky. So good.
@@tylerkulchinsky2167 oh didn't know
I like how this fight gives a huge more lore dump for later on in the series. For example what Gaius Emma and Alisa talks about the existence of the beyond and the existence of Aidios via the Artifacts backs up her existence. And it probably gonna contradict what the church believes or what THEY believe Aidios wants for the world
His new VA is as smooth as water in this scene, god damn.
Any idea who it might be?
@@liamclarke91 No idea unfortunately. While I do miss Max Mittleman, I think this new voice is fitting of Mcburn's switch in character once he recovers part of his memories. Sounds a tad more emotive. I would love to know who it is.
@@almightybirthdaycandle236 Its philip reich. Also known as Giorno Giovanna eng va.
@@almightybirthdaycandle236 Greg Chun I think.
I couldn't even tell the difference lol. Only thing I noticed was that Rufus and Valimar had the same voice lol
Dunno why but I get goosebumps everytime i fought this guy..
I think it’s because of all the build up he’s had from the last few games. He was a total enigma when he came onto the scene. Who/what is he? Why is he so freaking strong? Why does he feel like he’s holding back and sandbagging you every time you fight him before this? Well, he cranks the volume up to 20 here and answers some lingering questions. Maybe not all but a few. Also, the buildup and fight are amazing. Hopefully, we get to fight him again in the upcoming games.
@@jordanjackson4840 Indeed, but i think i saw on some hajimari no kiseki's gameplay in yt that we fight alongside mcburn. So maybe he become an ally then ? Or just for temporary time maybe.
@@endi2346 that might be true but I can’t answer that definitively and I haven’t had the chance to play Hajimari no Kiseki unfortunately.
@@jordanjackson4840This needed to happen at some point. I really hoped they didn’t just throw away his continuing plot line after literally 300 hours of build up
@@georocks3810 Man I hope not. He’s a fantastic antagonist and the whole thing about other worlds/realms out side of Zemuria really had me thinking; if Mcburn is from somewhere else and he’s THIS powerful, who else is out there? How will they tie into the story? Are they as powerful as Mcburn or the great curse/Ebon Knight? It’ll be interesting where they go from here with the story.
19:34 Last I checked, there was no "Summon Rufus" craft
McBurns has been holding back this much power throughout the cold steel series this whole time!
Not really holding back, Campanella sealed away his memories so he forgot he had this much power. It was because of the Tuatha de Denann that he regained his memories and in turn remembered what happened to him when he was summoned to that world.
Now I'm going to shell out more money to see what happens next. That's where Trails gets you
Mcburn has to be the most badass guy I ever seen in the cold steel games
Forget ishmelga, mc burn should've been final boss.
sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow lost the login password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@@kadenalbert3246i love the name ISHMELGA! You gotta spit when you sat it lmao
McBurn wasn't really that much of a villain compared to Ishmelga tbh. He just wants to fight strong opponents and get his memories back, and does whatever he feels like. He's more suited to be a secret new game + boss that's actually more powerful than Ishmelga and gives you secret lore if you beat him
me having built gaius to ult spam and infinite delay bosses "oh people actually let these bosses have a turn"
Mera Cu BALdugh RUANg.
Put these capitals next to each other:
MC BALRUAN (Shave L or R off if you wish since the Japanese use one sound for both)
MC BARUAN
MC BURN.
Well played, translators. His name isn't just randomly put together, he's barely remembering pieces of his name put together.
Yeah... We just need now to know his half Zemurian name now, not just this King from Beyond name. And also if he's going to use in Calvard his necklace like in the shot from Hajimari launcher...
My mind espolde
@@daysofhalcyon the explosion of your mind is so big, that you can't even write "Explode" properly
No offense btw, i just find it a bit funny
This game series was fucking crazy bro
It’s why it’s in my top 10 games/game series of all time
At first you're finding lost wallets and cats. Later you're fighting demons and discovering other dimensions and existential questions about the nature of the world
@@michaelhunter3692it’s a runner up as like #11 tbh only because it wasn’t very influential however “the pay off is well worth the wait” as they say…some parts can be a slog like slow burn quests
Hours and hours of reading before doing anything else…and slow pacing or uninteresting segments. But every end chapter is great especially CS4
The Black Workshop
My god the Pantegruel where all those legendary people joined the party Aurelia hosted
For I kid you not two hours of dialogue shit hits the fan you split up and storm the ship with LLOYD BANNINGS

THAN A QUADRUPLE BOSS FIGHT
I still can't believe this form of his playable in Trails into Reverie.
For real!?
@@azureoverdrive For real :)
:O
Too bad we didn't get to see his demon form even in trails into reverie or did I miss something??
@@leothelion6323 I misread his craft list, when it said demonized state, I thought it meant this form but it meant his Blazing Demon form.
That Laura profile pic though 😊😃 Love it! Great vid man, keep it up 😃
Crows Badass
I had his setup done up so that he ALWAYS deals critical attacks
He was the crit king
He said he wanted to fight osborne.
Itdve been a coolass plot twist if he did that.
nobody ever dies in this series
Series - There were three main deaths in Cold Steel 4 but I understand why someone would think that because of Trails in the Sky series and I think Azure had a death (don't quote me) but I do agree that Cold Steel was much brighter than the other series ESPECIALLY with the damn D&G Cult behind a lot of things
@@NaLu_85Cold Steel 2 Had a Main Character Death too.
And 1 Side Character Death.
It's so cool when you realize you can play as him in Reverie
Reminds me of Chatelard's second form from Ys 9,
This was a very hard fight for me.
Playing trails of Steal III, theses boss battles are epic 😎, can't what to get a chance to play the last game when I am finished
Every game I played so far since Kuro so far Demon Mcburn is the strongest character yet.
Shizuna could probably give him a thorough challenge if she masters her own demon powers and goes all in
@@Kernviter It's hard to say I can tell in CS4 Demon Mcburn was holding back.
He's definitely the most powerful. Loewe and Arianrhod were both regarded as insanely powerful and among the strongest in the world, but even they were only going toe to toe with McBurn's normal form. Victor Arseid, the strongest swordmaster in Erebonia, was permanently maimed by an encounter with him. Even in this fight, all you do is get him fired up enough to get some memories back, he's not even close to being defeated. In his overlord form, he's essentially godlike.
going to be playing this tomorow in the future hopfuly we get to see more of mcburn
We all just gonna ignore how Rean kinda went berserk and lost control there?
Well, it's a gameplay mechanic they added here, because of what happened in Cold Steel 3. If Rean uses his power, after the 3rd turn, he goes berserk.
@@davidtimmer596 Yeah, I know now after playing CS4.
What Emma explain it remind me a certain anime that tell have story human got sealed by alien in small part of world (by putting a barrier) and they civilization got degenerate and their goddess actually actually a human that betray humanity in human-alien war in the past
What anime was that?
@@jasonliu159 scrapped princess
This theme though. We done fought this man like 8 times by this point. This finale was lit! Rivalries, loose ends with certain people, Mcburn, ISHMELGA!!! Like this was everything and once you know you’ve done everything then get here t feels even better
119 hours first play through
I did every dam quest except the stupid forced Vantage Masters before finale
And missed 5AP for
The Lance Maiden and Gilliath Osborne fight. I tried to make it so they both exit but was slightly off and the chick eft first as the battle
Ended
As a guy that completed 4 already in 2018 was it the jp release I got to say the translation are near perfect some lines are whack but, most are on point. But, damn Emma's voice is hard to get use to xd and Mc burn I don't know he kind of hit and miss on the other hand Rean's VA is how do I put sometime sounds weird maybe because am so used to Uchiyama 内山 voice that the sudden shift on his english part is a bit hard to get into.
rean in english is trying to sound cool everytime, while in jp we can hear different tone include the soft tone which suit him.
@@xValsion Rean in English even in TOCS 1 is trying to sound like the guy who make speeches😂
What’s wrong with Emma’s voice lol…when she says “HAHHHHHHHHHHUGHHH” when she uses arts it’s kinda sexy I mean she’s bae. Compassionate, considerate, sensitive, shy…I wifed her up in Trails 4
He's one of the few bosses that even on VERY EASY MODE AT lv 200 you can't KILL him in 1 turn since you MUST use Rean's summon Valimar summon skill TO kill him and that uses up 1 turn as well.
Ugh it sucks so much that you can softlock yourself by accident on this damn guy. I didn't know about the shield and had used my summon earlier so I couldn't use it to break it. Had to reset the game.
Really, that's possible? That sounds like an awfully big oversight by the devs.
@@GalanOfTruth yep. Its not a huge game breaker. Just sets you back a save and forces you to redo the fight again but its annoying. Theres no hint he will use it at all till he does and he's pretty tough so you will feel the need to go all out on him.
@@jackknight8621 i didn't play on nightmare I do Hard first usually so I never use the summons not sure if they're much more useful on nightmare so thankfully I avoided this. Game breaking or not though that's still pretty unfair since the game should warn you first.
@@GalanOfTruth yea. Totally agree that its unfair.
Did it really do that to you? I literally used valimar twice in this fight, one before the barrier and the second after the barrier without any issue. Unless it was patched or something.
So is the salt pale a failed fusion?
McBurn from Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel should possibly be the new Boss Character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, along with Giga Bowser, Ganon, Dracula, Marx, Rathalos, Galleom, Galeem, Dharkon, Master and Crazy Hand, + New and Returning Bosses: McBurn, Kraid, Gruntilda, Genesis Rhapsodos, Masayoshi Shido, Zanza, Unknown (Tekken), Akuma, Nemesis (Fire Emblem), Ender Dragon, Hades (Kid Icarus), Rayquaza, Giygas, Duon, and Tabuu
So....it WASN'T a mcdonalds reference?
Oh, poor things think only humans exist 🤣🤣🤣
what DID Rean use McBurn's flames for?
It's an item you can use in the final Divine Knight battle. Fully restores your HP, EP, CP to 200, any statuses, and gives you 7 Brave Points.
Wait thats it? I tot its for the plot...
@@alfianardiansyah6663 It basically is, the fight is so bullocks you do need to use the item. so.. unless u are a god or get lucky with hits misses and status effects, that item is like ur only means of winning.
It's said in japanese version to be the Primordial Flame, Rean calls it the True flame of Kagutsuchi(like his Master Quartz name), sad it's only used to be a full godlike support for the last DK battle if you sucks tho? As Ryliks said...
Probably it is like some part of Mea Cu Barud power the black flames and such, I don't know lore wise if it'll nerf him in Hajimari tho, it was part of him.
@@TheRyliks You mean because Ishmelga spams "Dirge of Erebos"?
Epic awesome
True Demon Form McBurn
Vs. (Spoiler Alert!)
Ishmelga Rean (Hajimari)
Who do you think will win?
Ishmelga rean!
rean with zero divine knight prolly put a chance
@@davidkang8488 But Ishmelga Rean is already quite strong even without his Knight, since he single-handedly tanked and defeated the entire C7, SSS, Arios, C, etc.
Edit: the only other person we know who's capable of such feat was True Demon Form McBurn, hence my question.
@@brahmantyoihsan5938 (Hajimari spoilers)
While I would love to support my boi Mcburn, Ishmelga Rean probably would take the win simply because of the fact that Ishmelga grants the power of the treasure of steel (two freaken sept-terions. Kind of hard to contend with that lol.) However, I have the sneaking suspicion that Mcburn is only going to get stronger from here on out based on his enforcer number's relation to the magicians tarot card (both reverse and upright meanings). And he is hinted to be pretty important to the series as a whole based on hajimari's gm episode.
@@almightybirthdaycandle236 Was it ever explained how Ishmelga Rean could arrive at the main timeline? How is it that Ishmelga could grant the power of Sept Terrion of Steel, when all Divine Knights -- who are the physical embodiments of that power -- had disappeared at the end of CS4?
That is awesome
Someone tell me how to summon valimar the option isn't coming even tho my cp is up
Does this person not realize using S-breaks is a longer turn delay than just using S crafts on your turn lol.
What's he doing?
Why does english dub sounds like thevye just reading scripts.. unlike japan dubs sounds so emotional and shouting and screaming at the top of their lungs..
Yeah, they sound way better with the original Japanese voices.
I like the dub for this game it doesn't seem that way to me.
@@Timodus If you researched a little, CS3 and 4 localized by NIS American, not Xseed. The sound quality, voice direction and performance were inferior because unlike Xseed, they didn't put extra effort on localization, including extra misc contents, more English-exclusive voice line and good English dub anime- quality performance. It's a very damn shame because we all got used to good voice acting from Xseed and there should be someone else handle Falcom games in Xseed.
@@MinhLe19303 I know, I played CS and CSII on PS3 + some of CSIV in English. I prefer the original voices in any type of media anyway.
How lazy english actors voiced their roles. I can't help but feel sad for those who played on english. As for fight with McBurn it was unexpected and memorable show.
Ironically fitting for a character that's lazy
what with this translation !? isnt the original japanese was something like Fallen demon god, this new name look weak
Aidios probably put knife on the translator team
OMG, english voice acting sucks........ glad that I am able to play the Chinese version with Japanese voice years before western localization
The only good part of this game
Despite some of the few epic moments this game had including this one. Overall this game sucked I agree. The fanservice for characters from Crossbell and Liberl carried this game, overall story was garbage.
Too much padding
My
God
The last segmentssssss were a slog
And Mishelman made no sense
The world
Is ending so what do we do go to an amusement park for 9 year olds all damn night and fuck around. It dragged and it was great when it ended
This fight was boring and pointless. They could of just Dodged him and fought the final boss. None of that stuff he was talking about made sense. They always talking about stupid stuff when you should just be rushing the enemy before you. This is a war. Hurry up and save the world.
your probably the only person in the world that didnt want to face him before the final boss
@@SantosOverlord Man I know right! I was dying to see what a fight between the ' Blazing Demon ' and ' The Ashen Ogre ' would look like. It's honestly a shame Rean is still young and has lots of development left though. I'd like to see a one on one.
You might want to stick to Desperate Housewives
So question how the F are we going to deal with his overworld barrier in future games cause not to say much but the only method to break it ends up leaving so how the F do we do it now
