The way they’re so open and never take anything too seriously, and instead poke fun at things and as Desus said, taken the approach of their audience being included in on the joke with them, has helped me be myself. They’re just something unique and different in a way that makes you instantly love them. When I first watched one of their videos, I basically binged all of them through one after the other. Their charisma, their humour, their pride, they make me smile! Thanks guys for being you. You inspire me to be myself. Your growing success is extremely well deserved and I’m always rooting for you. The brand will always be strong!!! ❤️
no it was less forced because they didnt have any time to think it was pure reaction. they were literally getting topics pitched day of. they are instinctual geniuses as you can see by the podcast. so with showtime when they have an entire weekend or days in the week to think it seems forced because theyve already thought of a billion jokes of the topics in their head. but that daily grind was unsustainable.
I'm from NYC, Harlem, and areas of the heights in my younger days and really don't understand the appeal of these two. They're corny and don't represent where they claim they're from. Not funny and pretty corny. Listen to their live tapings, the audience always seems like their dry and dreary....I was hoping to like them tbh since the are from my neck of town.
