Isabella was Emma, Ray and Norman combined, but she was alone.
ouch.
:((
Am 14 and dis deep
@@SasukeUchiha0172 ?
@@SasukeUchiha0172 uh I guess he meant she was both Intelligent and athletic.
"She's gonna fling herself off the side"
"She's gonna hang herself"
You guys CHILL. Relax lmao
they r so cruel
I also thought she was going to off herself in that scene at first.
@dadolf When Isabella is on the wall, after letting her hair loose.
@dadolf 17:33
hey I thought the same
The anime cut the line of mom...at the end she says that..." I can't change the world...what would my death do?...i must provide all of the love inside of me....these children know nothing...I must let them live as long as possible " ...she was just like Emma but she didn't have ray and Norman 🥺
"i wish I could love them normally" Still hits harder than a fucking bus
Isabella loved her children. She wanted them to survive the longest they could, which is why her plant produces the highest quality ones.
After this Isabella joins the Tybur family and becomes the War Hammer titan.
😆
She gets eaten by EREH and the kids get another MAMA and The rest is still a mystery
Bruh cmahn dont spoil it, whats next Nahuto comes in with chadori
The fact that Isabelle untied up the ropes to hide the evidence of how they escaped always gets me ❤
Saaame
She didn’t, the kids did
@@allyXXXgator Didn't you see the episode?
@@darknessmage3617 yeah, you can see the ropes untie but Isabella isn’t close enough to untie them, I might be wrong though. That’s just what I see
@@allyXXXgator Didn't you see her pulling the ropes?
The Anime ended with a CLIFF & HANGER
Oh goodness, nice one XD
bahahahahaha
Thats a good one
LOLOLOLOL HELP
I find Isabella so interesting. She genuinely cared about the children, but since she lost hope that they could escape, since she failed before. In her eyes, letting the children live the most peaceful live possible was the best thing she could do. She didn't want them to do. She isn't a villain, just someone who lost hope, sucked in all the pain and does everything that's possible to help the children to what she thinks is happiness.
It's a really sad character.
Let me do a standing ovation for this show. In a series filled with dramatic cliffhangers, the kids escape over a CLIFF with the help of HANGERS.
Additional observations:
1) When I was watching the whole scene with Isabella in the end the question from Norman was ringing in my memory. 'Mama, are you happy?' Looking at her final smile it was almost like she was finally giving him her true answer: 'I am now, Norman'.
2) I am now thinking that Isabella will now be helping the kids (those that escaped and those that remained) as much as she can:
A) She removed the ropes that they left, which is likely so she can hide their point of escape from the demons.
B) She told Phil that they escaped successfully to his face. There was no reason to do this, as she could've hidden the truth from him. But she figured out that he knows everything, and decided to ease his thoughts anyway.
I think she was previously sure that there is no escape from this circle of misery and suffering, but after witnessing those kids that made the choice that she could not make herself - she will now believe in them.
Yup thats Isabella for you, Our best mom
Well, you do have a point about the cliff-hangers.
Isabella’s such a amazing character. She’s so complex, not good neither evil, just shaped by the world she lives in.
When you think about it actually makes sense why Isabella had all those toys in that secret room, she really did love every one of those kids and that's why she kept their toys to remember them by. She wasn't lying when she said she just wanted them to have the best life they can possibly have. Even tho she knew it was only momentarily she really did gave them the best she could.
It's sad that in her mentality she submitted to the idea that there is no surviving that world so she figured if they are going to die she might as well give them the happiest moments possible.
Just wanted to let you guys know that watching you react to this show was almost as enjoyable as watching it the first time. Thank you for these!
Glad you enjoyed!!
I honestly feel bad for Isabella, she was like them but in the end, she gave up and decided to at least make their life's while their in the farm
The moment you feel victorious and defeated at the same time.
"I wish I could love them normally"
Imagine if Emma dabbed on Isabella right before she zip-lined across that ravine lmao.
Would've ruined the moment but that'd make for a great comic meme
I don't know where you guys got the notion of the three of them having be to be the same meal, from what I undersatnd, they're all were meant to be served to the same person, because they're so high-quality, they would have gone to "The One", but I don't where it was said or implied that they'll be part of the same meal, speaking as an anime-only.
This final episode made me have so much sympathy for Isabella. She's not just some muahahaha evil person. She's not evil at all. She doesn't want to do this she has to do this. She's just a pawn in this game the same way these kids are.
While that's mostly true with her redemption arc in both the manga and anime, there are some parts where Isabella is not a very nice person. I'm surprisingly not referring to the breaking of Emma's leg or even trying to demoralize her further after making the "Want to be a Mom " offer. That could all be justified as part of her philosophy of what is best for the children (sometimes the best parents have to employ either physical punishment or restraint, hence the broken - but not in a way that would ruin it - leg) and her wanting to 'save' Emma, even if she had to employ some tough love (the really blunt taunt about how she will just have to suffer then) to do it. Her basic philosophy is that " Escape is hopeless for these kids. So I will do everything in my power possible to love and raise them so they have a happy life before they must die." That's not a direct quote but it is her philosophy. Her love and care also raises their test scores thus letting them live longer than other kids on other farms. Anyway, there are other hints she isn't a total monster: there was no need to store the toys or dolls in her communications room. If she was a sociopath she could have just thrown them out or reused them with other kids. They are there, specifically to REMIND her of those she loved and lost.
BUT : Isabella is a broken woman. And lots of this is shown in the horrible way she is partly forced and partly honestly NOT forced but does so anyway to treat Ray. Remember how when she thinks he's burning , all she cares about or thinks about is "the brain"? Not even HIS brain, just "the brain". Remember how bluntly she dismisses him from her 'service'? How she rubs in to him and Emma about Norman's being shipped out? She doesn't just 'discuss it honestly', she all but gleefully throws it in their faces. Think about their last two months: yes, they were PARTLY fooling her about giving up, but they were still depressed about Norman's death. Well, she was content to let her own son stay in despair for two months (as far as she knows) because she figured that it would let him live longer. Till his FREAKING BIRTHDAY where the celebration is to be his shipping off to die. It's true she's probably proud of him and Emma in a twisted way: "The best quality" going to the Queen or The One as a meal! What mom wouldn't be proud? (ok that last part was sarcasm) Anyway, TLDR: I think she was sort of 'lashing out' at Emma, Ray , and Norman the last few months of their lives in part because they made a mirror that reflected her own choice back at her, in part because she felt they were putting her life in peril for no reason other than an escape which was impossible, and maybe also to 'scare them straight' so to speak. It's sad. But WHO Isabella 'really is' is shown by both the guilt she feels for ALL of that, the guilt for those little ones she sacrificed, and how she reacts (unlike Peter Ratri) when shown (by their escape) that hope is possible : she starts to actively fight the system. The manga makes clear what the anime doesn't : she hides the sheets they used to escape thus buying them hours if not even whole days of freedom before the demons figure it out and a pursuit starts and she rests with the little ones humming that beautiful tune that Leslie made and she always loved. At the end of the first anime season and the first manga arc she thinks she's dead for the escape but she's now done something useful, something to help the children, and she is willing to die with dignity. Anyway, though she's not perfect (like I said some of her cruelty really was cruelty even if she did it for understandable reasons) this is why we love and sympathize with her. She's not the enemy. The system is.
@@remo27 this is late I know, but still
I always thought that both rays special treatment of being a spy *and* her harscher treatment towards him are because he‘s her bio. Son. On one hand, she actually let him get away with stuff no other kid would, on the other, especially during his last months on the farm, she treated him extremely harsh. I think the latter was specifically to destroy their relationship, to „burn that bridge“, simply said, to shelter her mind from the fact that *her son* is next. It‘s a common thing in break ups as well to villify the ex, just because the brain doesn‘t like to think about the precious thing you lost because of your own actions, so cutting ties short with ray was probably such a step for her own mental well being.
One of the few moments the anime out did the manga, mainly with the music. (Sure better than just seeing a couple note symbols on the page and calling it a song)
10 out of 10 indeed. Bumping your hand with the table and forgetting to drink your beverage simply because you are so attached and concerned for these characters are testaments to how good the show is. Also because I didn't see that Isabella was actually Ray's biological mother coming early on, the flashback had me screaming in shock. I also thought that Isabella was going jump of the cliff or hang herself at the end and was so relieved that she didn't. She is an amazing character, you thought she was so evil at first but she actually truly loved all the kids and just wanted to love them all normally at the end.
Isabella is the victim who became the perpetrator... that's make me more sad 😭 Whatever the circumstances, it is clearly wrong to have many children killed. But If I was her, I'll choose the same way cause that's only way to survive. She had no choice...🤷♀️
She loved her children with all her heart, but her survival was more important. So she somehow raised the score to help the children live even a few more months and live a happy life until the end. She thought that if they found out the truth, they'd be as distressed as she was when she was kid, and they'd be broken.
And one of Isabella's line in manga
: "I wish I could love them normally..."
@Might Guy Yes exactly!!!
I'm pulling this out of my butt but i think the reason why grace field's kids are so special is because they were raised by Isabella. A person who went through everything she went through and decided that in this cruel world, the only thing she can do is to survive but still give all the love she has in her to these innocent kids till they die. These kids got the love of a real mother and that's why they grew up so well and smart.
Thats what im thinking too bc what seperate her from other moms? and that thought was the first thing that popped in my mind
Isabella was such a good antagonist..
This episode is just perfect..
Isabella character just like itachi in naruto and hohenhiem in fullmetal alchemist. Hate in early episode but loved by the end of series
43:42 "Because Norman's a God" Uhh well you aint wrong on that one :)
lMao so truee **manga intensify**
What I love about this show is in the earlier episodes, I was 100% agreeing with Ray and Norman kinda that the other kids would be a burden and it should only be the trio plus don/gilda who should try to escape. But what the ending proved is not only were they successful to escape with all the kids 6yrs and older, but that the escape would not be this successful without the help of every single one of those kids. They all had individual contributions. Mom couldn't do it alone. I'm sure if only the trio, it would also be hard for them. It's the teamwork of everyone that made the plan possible. So kinda like a life lesson that in the real world, everyone has value, no one should be treated a burden. We are greater than the sum of our parts.
"She's still just a kid, trying not to get shipped off."--Carson
No. She did what she did because she grew up.
It's horrifying, how growing up is sometimes a synonym for giving up.
a similar anime with just as much thinking and brilliant writing is Erased!
Carsons already seen it!
5:45 ahhh yes praise 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥!
Carson how did your hair grow back that fast?

What happened on the manga?
@Joe Dirt thx man
@Joe Dirt yeahh , season 2 at least for now have been mediocre
And S2 is even worse. Damn S1 ep 12 would have been the Finale, it would have been fine.
Erased is really good too I’d recommend it
Ending sucks but otherwise a good show
When you realise how smart norman is now and how they made him look in the second season because of bad adaptation it just makes me wanna sry 😭😭😭
GIVE ME BAC MY BADASS TALL NORMAN 😭😭😭💔i can understand them changing the plot because it's way too long and it needs way more than four seasons but why you changed the characters height like those guys went through hell my man Norman is like 179 cm lik why???? Emma and Ray was running wild they had muscles like a lot of them then when I see the anime i was like why do they still look like kids 💔😱😭

Amazing ending. Lets hope that the 2nd season's ending will be as impressive as this
Please react to Guilty Crown
they miss an arc in season 2 and that's frustrating, it's so wholesome that makes everything of the story better
yeah they kinda butchered the anime lol
One of the best Season 1's in anime IMO.
I really enjoyed your reactions!!!

Early af😂
Manga Readers (That say "they cut some parts out") hear this out 45:55
From the future here, S2 is going strong!
The other layer of mom motivation is to give the other child the happiest life they could have
Farm 3 is the only healthy farm
There is even a mass production farm that kid is immature and even mutated just for mass production food
Its like she decided to be evil
To help the new kid have a healthy lovingly young life :) she is such a great anti hero
