203k hahahahahahahaha........ I was an agent back in the day when HUD was (mid 90's) encouraging buyers to get a 203k loan. It was a nightmare then and I'm sure it still is, lol. However, I was successful at getting about 80% of them closed. I'm currently retired from Real Estate. I fixed and flipped, bought and held rentals, opened and sold my brokerage all while on active duty military. After active duty (retired 20 years) I worked in real estate for another 20 years then packed it all up and moved to Florida. I'm just dropping in to tell you guys hello and thanks for what you're doing or the newcomers! Cheers!
I am 50 and my husband is 60. We want to start flipping homes. How would you suggest we finance the first home. We own a home and have about $50k in equity. Should I use this for a down payment and get a conventional loan? I work 3 jobs and my husband is disabled so finding more income isn't an option. We have about $400 after expenses each month so dept to start scares me a little.
I wouldnt flip houses right now if I were you. Sell your current home for a tax free gain and then See if you can buy a 2 or 3 or 4 unit building to fix up and live in and then rent out the other units. Then wait 2 years and repeat.
I agree with that of possible . On the extra income side of things I am always looking for folks want to make an extra income for any goals they're wanting to attain.
"Its not a Tonya Harding loan." Omgoodness. 😂
Great video. Awesome information.
DAVID! Bippers might not actually be the best fan base name as it’s actually a slang term for a form of car theft in the Bay Area!
😂😂😂

Going to be difficult for Bigger Pockets to give you a shout out based on your name.... Thebigmoist69. But thanks for the heads up! 😂
