    Speaking of childhood memories, I am 71, yet I can remember the smell and taste of my Gramma's canned peaches. The cloves just added something special. You bring me such good memories, Titus. Ty.

    Hi Titus, I'm a little behind with viewing your videos. Although I work from home, I get pretty busy. Know that you, your parents, Stephanie the children are always in my thoughts and prayers. I tried growing tomatoes, peppers and squash. I just got only two tomatoes, lol. I'm not giving up on gardening, though🙂, will try again next year. Blessings🙏Tina/PA

    Need to leave an airgap between the top of the food and the lid in order for a good vacuum to develop and seal the lid. Also, you can't just leave tomato juice all over the top of the jar rim and expect a good seal to happen. Taking a clean towel and wiping all moisture from the top of the rim is part of the standard process. The jars explode in the water bath when you overfill the jar. Basic physics: the heat makes the contents expand, and if you don't leave an air gap, the expansion will cause the jars to overflow or actually burst (the latter happens if you both overfill and put the lids on too tightly ... air needs to be able to escape from the jar in order to develop a good seal. Finally, did you sterilize those jars before filling them? Did you rinse the food in clean water before cutting it up and making the puree? If not, you've introduced more bacteria that could cause premature spoilage that would have been easily avoidable.

      Surprised to see you here on a video produced by Titus and Stephanie. You were all over Aaron's videos trashing these people. BELOW IS A COPY OF JUST ONE COMMENT YOU MADE ABOUT TITUS IN ONE OF AARON'S VIDEOS, A MERE 4 WEEKS AGO:
      "@pmarcum7146
      4 weeks ago (edited)
      Chilling. He is mentally unwell. And from a Christian's perspective, hoping that a human whom one regards to be neither saved nor living in God's grace to be "taken out" is even more appalling, given the known consequences. A Christian would know that an unredeemed sinner being "taken out" would also mean that persons being destined to damnation and hell. Titus himself gave a sermon, some time ago, encouraging that we pray for sinners to live as long as possible, so as to give them as much opportunity as possible to be redeemed before their death. Obviously Titus thinks that G is a sinner, so what he is essentially saying is "send G to hell, do not give him additional time to repent". Disgusting. Absolutely vile. Not difficult to notice, between T and G, who seems more Christ-like."
      AT FIRST I THOUGHT YOU HAD A CHANGE OF HEART as you are commenting on many of Titus's "how-to" videos with what, at first read, seems to be additional helpful information. But I now see that you disguise your "helpful" comments with much criticism and I've come to understand that this is your way of discrediting Titus. It's your latest way of attacking him. Every comment I've seen of yours in his videos is criticism in disguise. Anyone can see, from the comment of yours that I have copied and pasted above, that you despise this man, and this is only one of many, many comments that you have posted on Aaron's videos trashing Titus. You are the one who's vile.

    Yes some of the peppers are hot lol. Found that out when Lily braught one back thinking it was a bell pepper and put it on a pizza she made lol. So how many jars blew up this time? I warned him with the apple sauce not to put the lids on to tight or the heated air in the jar would expand and blow the jar up. He didnt listen and 2 jars blew up. And guess who got stuck cleaning out the canner afterwards? Yep me lol. Glad im not there this time lol.

    You don't ever rinse anything do you? Just curious. I beleive you should wash jars n lids before filling then pressure can or Waterbath. And leave a 1 inch head space. You need to wipe off the rims as well. People can get sick if the jars don't seal correctly.

    • @loucilehall9281
      @loucilehall9281 28 дней назад +2

      I wash my jars when I empty them and add a lid so they won’t get dirty. Don’t have to wash again. I do wash the rims of my jars after I fill them so they will seal good.

      Lemon juice is to keep it from darkening with time, you don’t have to add salt if you don’t won’t to, modern cookbooks and people on RUclips say finger right, even I said it on my channel but as I looked at my grandmothers FDA canning books it had bold letters firmly tight so that’s what I do and have canned 100’s of jars with no problems

    • @rewalos5077
      @rewalos5077 11 дней назад

      Most people who go barefoot usually tend to avoid wearing shoes exept when its extremely cold during Winter. I guess it's the same with Titus. A good example of barefoot lifestyle would be Cody Lundin from Dual Survival TV show. The dude could walk barefoot on snow, which always blew my mind as a Kid.
      As for him not wearing proper clotes... Um, what? The man covers his whole body in clothes? What do you mean? If you were talking about his fashoin sense, the man grew up and currently lives in Rural Kentucky alongside the Amish and Mennonite Communities, so its not strange that he has chosen to adapt to their lifestyle and clothing trends.
