    Great video. I collected Sunspot data for the AAVSO for 8 years a long time ago. Although right now the Sun in white light doesn't show anything it WILL soon! The new cycle has begun! I'm contemplating getting a CMOS camera, refractor and decent mount so start my astrophotography fun. At almost 62 years old! Thanks for the video!

    Just got the Lunt 100MT double stack and the views are STUNNING!
    Beyond my best hopes!

  • @denodan
    @denodan 3 года назад

    Those Lunt scopes are nice. Got the 70MM ED doublet. Had a lot of trouble, missing screws, focuser nob screws loose and to make matters worse, objective lens well out of collimation.
    Lunt sent me the missing screws and sent my Objective lens back to them and collimationed it. Got the scope new from the USA, but such a hassle trying to send scope back, was easier to just send them the objective.
    But goes well now and a great scope, the service from Lunt was great as generally known for great scopes, however mine was a 🍋. Anyway think if I got into DSO would be a good starter scope. I have used it for video astronomy and works we'll with my Revolution imager

    Great video! Thank you for sharing Antoine & Dalia! You are getting very professional with these videos, not only you share beauties of the night sky but also from France. How is the sky in your french area? In some remote locations of Viseu in Portugal, I was recently able to see visually the Veil Nebula with my Orion Mak 150mm + OIII filter, what a faint but great sight!
    I prefer watching the sun in my small Celestron First Scope than in the Mak 150mm, under the heat a smaller telescope is less sensitive to heat waves I guess.
    You look great in those T-shirts, congratulations for the World Cup, 20 years after 1998!
    I vote for the mistery planet if it is Mars, You might get great pictures now because the opposition even if you tried before imaging it. Otherwise I vote for Messier 74.

      Thanks Jim! For binoculars, we would recommend some 10x70 or 20x80 (the ones we use) but no higher than those :)

      They did a video with Saturn. However, with their scope, an 8" F 3.9 , the focal length doesn't make for a good planetary scope.

    Well. No offense. First time I see one of your videos, and it is clear the you sit and read from a manuscript. And you are not really good at it. It sound fake. The ping-pont between you both are also to some kind of instructed. Relax and enjoy what you know from from what you have in the head, not on the paper.
