THIS VIDEO WAS EPIC!!! I added so many flipping books to my always-growing TBR! eeee thank you for putting so much onto my radar! I do plan on doing a TBR video!!! I just haven't gotten a chance to film yet! I'm excited to though! Will of course tag you in description when I release it 🤩🫶 I gotta keep this saved and rewatch one more time in case I forgot to add any to my list!! Great job with this epic video! you killed it! 👻
@SlimeAndSlashers people are coming up with such good books!! And yayyy!! No pressure at all, but you just have so many fun and unique picks I want everyone to know about them 😂😂
The subbies really came through with all of the recommendations?! Bless them and bless you for going through each book and providing us with a short synopsis 🖤🙏 It makes it so much easier to determine which book to put on the TBR. I loooove the This is Halloween section and would looove to read every book you mentioned in it. 👻
oh my god you are gorgeous i am obsessed with this makeup look and the lashes you're inspiring me to get my big girl lashes out. also the itch to redye my hair pink is ITCHING. you've influenced me girl i'm enamoured
oh my goodness I love this and adding these books to my list. I have no idea why my brain kept thinking this bingo was a month long instead of a year (i blame the house stress) 😍 This makes so much more sense knowing you put IT on your TBR for this. I can't wait to put my list together now and start this bingo! Do What Godmother Says is multiple timeline and multiple POV. I listened to it as an ARC a month ago. It was good, but definitely would recommend reading vs. audiobook. I got very annoyed during some parts while listening to it and wanted to chuck my phone 🥲 👻👻👻
@@WickedScorpio it really is! but I might have hyperfixated on your bingo this weekend and finally got my board put together 😍 of course! i think you're one of the first channels I've watched mention this book too
The night will find us by Matthew Lyons features the jersey Devil. I’m kind of interested in that one because I’ve never read a book with the Jersey Devil featured.
Thank you for the recommendation - I am still rummaging through books to find all the books for hard mode as well. Want to branch into horror more so I thought this readathon would be fun and I joined the bookclub as well🎉 Appreciate your video
@readingonmybreaks2523 no pressure to have a book picked out for every spot yet! It's super fun to make a tbr but there will be soooo many new releases too that can work for the board! And we are so happy to have you in the book club 🩷🩷
Just found your channel today with this video. I'm excited at the idea of completing a bingo challenge! I figured I would start it, and start today since I probably got the hardest one done today (5 star!!) And who knows if that will happen again in a year.
The strain by Chuck Hogan and Guillermo Del Toro, also features of vampire apocalypse where vampirism is transmitted as a disease via these little white worms
You could also go with the picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar, Wilde for a classics recommendation really any sort of penny, dreadful will do Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde would be considered penny dreadful because you can get them for a penny at any bookshop or news stand
33:19 Phantoms by dean Koontz 😅 could count for hard mode since you don't know what the creature is till near the end, but it does have body horror and gorey.
I have one to add for hard mode translated work! Things We Lost in the Fire by Mariana Enriquez has a translator's note even though it looks like her other translated works don't.
I’d like to recommend some paperbacks from hell like the nest and rats. If you have that book, you will find them in there paperback from hell that is.
I just read a book that I think would work for Multi POV hard mode. It is called: Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. A majority of the story takes place in the past but you occasionally jump forward to the future. And while it is mostly told from one POV there are several instances throughout the book where you are reading the observation/research/interview notes of another character (may work, may not). I would say this book is definitely not for everyone, so maybe proceed with caution?
I JUST started reading Extinction by Douglas Preston and Idk if I want to put it on the Genre Blending (since its SCI-FI) or the Woods/Wilderness.... anyone have any thoughts?
Ugh! Did not like "Devolution" at all. Bored the absolute shit out of me. I had hit hopes for it too because of World War Z and I heard they're making it into a movie. But that was like two years ago, so who knows.

Thank you thank you thank you! 🖤
@@onceuponabookishsteph I almost want to do a part 2 in a few months or something 👀 it was fun to find so many books I didn't know about
Thank you so much for these awesome recommendations!
I'm doing my TBR bingo card right now, this is a very fun way to tackle my horror tbr
👻👻
Yay, I'm glad it helps!
Oooh. So many nooks I've never even heard of. Thank you for this!
I know right!? I'm so glad I found so many new to me titles
The Troop was great. And any list that has Ray Bradbury gets the thumbs up from me!
@mikesbookreviews it's still my top favorite survival horror! So gritty and classic horror feeling
I think you’ll looove The Skittering 🪳
You've just convinced me I need to read it asap 😂
"William" by Mason Coile takes place on Halloween and has the words "trick or treat" in it 🎃
This is super helpful! There were some prompts I was struggling with!
yay i love all the recs!!!

@jamieserrano827 ooo that's a good one. Idk anything about that cryptid
The Night Will Find us is an excellent audiobook but does not feature the Jersey devil. I still recommend it though, very interesting!
@@Monicajc I thought it did but thank you for the correction. I will file it away.
This is an epic list!! I'm so excited to play this bingo! 👻🩷

That's actually been on my radar before. I am curious about it! Thanks for the rec (and cautionary warning lol)
I also just thought of ringu for translated, and a movie and the one for hard mode of supernatural since the videotape counts as the item.
@@JustGina93 good one!

I think Diavola by Jennifer Thorne will work for satanic panic hard mode.
🖤💚👻#rewatchcrew

For Fever Dream Goodreads lists 2 translators & indicates there’s an afterword written by 1 of them, so could count for hard mode?
Ooo yeah maybe some versions have it and others don't? But if it has it, count it!
Maggie’s Grave is hilariously OTT
Is Bunny Pink Horror?
@@teslagoth9401 I really need to read a david sodergren asap.
I personally would not classify bunny as pink horror
