This gizmo has more bells and whistles than my echo dot. The only thing I don't like about these Amazon products is something not related to the devices themselves. Sometime in the past year Amazon closed down their PC app meaning you need a cell phone or tablet to change settings and get new skills.Great review as always Steve !
Nice review as always. Got a chuckle out of your SSID names. On the larger devices, why doesn't Amazon give you an option to do a big clock like they have on the Show 5? Returned the 8 for a 5 for that feature. Hooked up my Ring doorbell to it and it's so small in the portrait mode it is haha. I swear I turned off all the ad features, but they still pop up on it. Maybe I need to look again.

Do you know if there is a way to move the clock on home screen to a different position than the lower left corner? I have an ajustable bed and it blocks the clock on the night stand and i cant move the nightstand over any more. Kinda frustrating we cant customize the clock to any place on the display
@@TechSteve Not quite sure but it's alot of technology ways or things they can come up with new....they can make it cordless, up the size to a 26" like a TV

Don't count on it, RUclips is owned by Google which sells Google Nest. If YT is important to you then buying the Nest would be the better option.

Correct, it has a audio out but you would have to get a headphone amp

She has to de register it off of her amazon account, factory reset and set up with your account. Amazon chat can help
