- This Guy Loves His Job! - Railfanning In Berea, OH. Enjoy a rail ran video from the Berea Depot where I was able to catch a lot of action on the rails of the Norfolk Southern lines and a couple of trains on the CSX line including an interchange with a Wheeling & Lake Erie train! The locomotive engineer of the Wheeling & Lake Erie train blew his whistle several times to us rail fans that were taking photos and admiring the job that he does. He was sure to wave at us several times too!

Cool! I'm going soon and was wondering if you know how often W&LE is seen there are how many heritage units a day can be seen there?
Hello I have been to the Berea Union Depot Restaurant before it is a Restaurant to go to
Very cool episode Wallie 👍👌
That's cool as hell man. Or as you say "Awesome". #67 Like on your the Video. Ironic since that was the Year I was born. :-)

If you really like rail fanning I would suggest checking out the iron triangle is Fostoria, Ohio.
That's on my to-do list!
Great catches, you ever go to the W&LE Rook yard here in Pittsburgh?
I've never been there before. I have go check this out.
This video is awesome
Awesome video 👍🇺🇸😎
Not common to see W&LE use that switchover in the middle of the day. That’s a GREAT catch!
I love the videos! Great work. Anyway the Berea Depot used to be operated by Conrail way back in the day. Now Norfolk Southern and Csx Operate it. The two lines that run through Berea are the Csx short line subdivision and the NS Chicago line.

Where in berea , I am from there looks close to the airport , browns headquarters,I know now , thanks for filming my old stomping grounds where I grew up , love the old bar/restaurant those are a large double set of tracks , think the first set is 2 or 3 rails and the 2nd set is 4 rails at its largest spot, most if those head to the Ford and Chevy car plants the other lines head downtown Cleveland and east ward and even think those are amtrack lines
Ah I see - 'Railfanning' in the USA = 'Trainspotting' in the UK
Nice video! I worked for the Wheeling for a little bit as a conductor
2 wheeling and something sd40-2 units
Really cool horn salute you got there
That was a very cool train meet
Do you use the heritage unit app to report these locomotive
There's indefinite long trains in Ohio
Sure We're Insured For That

OH BOY! A TRAIN RACE!🚂🛤
As the trains were passing by, I was thinking "bread and butter, bread and butter, bread and butter, bread and butter".
I REALLY enjoyed this rail fan video, Wallie!! It's SO COOL when the Engineers blow the whistle when they pass by. Will you please film drone footage at Berea soon? Have a Rail Fanlicious Day! On Kayla's behalf tell her that I said Have a KMartlicious Day!! Your RUclips Channel rocks!!! If there's a RUclips Channel Of The Year award, I would vote YAY for your RUclips Channel to win, with my fingers crossed.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes I plan to do drone footage there as long as I'm allowed. Only thing I have to check is whether the air space is restricted or not. If it is, the drone won't even take off. But as long as there isn't an airport or military base or prison immediately near by, I should be good!
I wouldn’t do drone footage. It’s close to the airport and you can get arrested for flying a drone that close to it, it’s agains FRA Regulations
@@RefillerName so if it's in a restricted air space the drone won't even take off. So I have nothing to worry about. The GPS on the DJI app which controls the drones every move will either allow it to take off or not at all.
@@WallieB26 you should come to Butler tomorrow to catch the B&P and BLE trains with me
Great video and that was really nice of that engineer to do that for you. That's awesome. Have a great week and thanks for sharing.
Great video! I don't live too far from there, I need to go check out the trains.
Awesome vid
Crazy how close that parking lot is to those tracks
All it takes is a dedicated person, a train and a cell phone and amazing images ensue. Thanks for posting this!
Honestly it's awesome to see Wallie railfan more cause I've loved trains since I was little and I've been railfanning since age 11 and it's awesome to see one of my favorite youtubers do it that didn't used to. One tip for you wallie is get a scanner and program the frequencies in. You can hear them talk and get to know what's coming and where it is it's a very helpful railfanning tool
I have done a few railfan videos over the years. Just not that many. One of my goals this year was to do more and get back into it.
@@WallieB26 It's an awesome thing to do. I love the train videos you do
Nice railfanning video, Wallie! ❤😘👍 I am enjoying your video! Thank you so much!
