this sounds like i’m being mean to Phil but i swear i’m not, my advice to my past self is to take everything on the internet with a grain of salt. that means to be critical when you read online content, and always look at sources to make sure it’s true. i don’t follow this rule enough even now, but it’s SO important. not everyone on the internet is your friend, and even people who do have good intentions can be wrong!
That’s not mean at all! It’s cybersafety! And yep, had experiences like that too- I fell in love with a person who kept changing where they were from, their gender, their name and their age! Luckily we never met up but been there as well!

I got a degree in something I loved but ended up not wanting to do as a career, and now I'm in my mid-30s working retail, discovering I have an interest in all kinds of things that I could maybe have been doing instead of wasting away as the service industry destroys my soul. I could've been a mycologist or something!

Best advice ever. I started college 2 years ago and I was terrified. The first semester I decided to join a club, 3 actually. 2 didn't work out and i just didn't go back, but the third has become the best choice I ever made. Im surrounded by people who enjoy having me around and there are other people who are just like me (I have autism) so im super accepted. The club I joined is the highlight of my life. Every now and then you will make a friend in class who stays for a semester, but club friends last throughout the years.

This is random but my friend bought me dan and Phil March for an early birthday present and yesterday, like 5 minutes before I left to go on vacation in the uk, it came and I picked it up. I’m typing this inside a restaurant in London wearing a dan and Phil hoodie hoping to meet them. Literally all my friends have been praying for me. So yeah.... idk why I wanted to tell that to the internet but thanks for reading if you didn’t leave in the beginning.
