I appreciate the "why not" energy of the Fannin pick - if we're gonna do a hundred mocks over the next 4 months, we need a 'let's get weird' mock at least once a month because teams do goofy unpredictable stuff every year. No need to be safe and sane with every pick every time.
Ray would you take Achane for Tua and the 1.09? I’ve got Hurts & TLaw as my other QB’s and also an early 2025 1st. my only other RB’s are Dowdle & Tracy.
I would be honest.. If the Raiders at 6 cant land the QB. Ashton Jeanty is a fine pick for a team that loves to run downhill with a FB. we have a big Rb need. We need tickets sales. This will help the fanbase remain optimistic and we are known for having a decent OL. we have WRs that are super compy Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, OROY Brock Bowers & Mayer. Adding Jeanty would make any FA QB interested here.
I don't think you can sell Tre Tucker as a #2 option of a passing attack. You need a true outside threat and eventually someone that has a chance to take over for Meyer who isn't young himself. WR > RB that high especially with the RB Depth of this class.
I don't see any draft QB's this year that would be ready on day one. They all will need development, just as does Levis currently. Do the coaches have what it takes to develop a QB? The weapons for one?
I could also see the raiders actually taking Ashton jeanty in the 1st. They struggled really bad with running and I think that hurt their pass game more than anything.
No way the 49ers go RB in the 1st. Too many other areas of need to take a position you can fill with a UDFA or late round pick. Not to mention they have Jordan Mason and Guerrendo there too.
After trading draft capital for Marshawn Lattimore and drafting Sainristil in round 2 last year, Washington is NOT drafting a CB in round 1( I know its PFFs fault lol ). We have a pro bowl 29 year old WR in Scary Terry and then NOBODY at WR. I think Commanders trade back for more 2nd round picks or draft Hampton. PFF is on crack right now. Also, Eagles traded a 3rd for Jahan Dotson. They never used him. Why would they draft a WR in round 1? PFF is on crack. Thanks for the videos man!
Bears taking a TE in the 2nd has to be the worst pick I’ve ever seen. Kmet is a good TE which we resigned to a big contract. We’re definitely taking OL or DL. Do your research!
