Yes, I always get inspiration from Sridevi Nrityalaya & this time tried this one incorporating Bharatnatyam & creative Dance style. I would request you to check the videos of them once more carefully. Yes Few similarities are there because it is a mythological story so the scenes are similar. Like Krishnas postures while fighting with kaliya Naag. Postures of Snakes and some of their movements. These will always remain similar if a particular classical dance form is followed. There are several Bharatnatyam items composed on the same story having steps similar in different performance by different performers. Few postures also follows the traditional pictures of Kaliya Daman we all are familiar with. This kind of visual resemblance helps the audience to understand the presentation since the language of the song is unknown to them. Thanks.
