Last night I was running to 3 downed teammates and before I got to them I saw an enemy approaching me through the smoke screen. I aimed my STEN and started blasting. Turns out this guy had buddies lined up behind him like Sandpeople and I took all four of them down by just aiming at one spot and firing. Then I revived the teammates and we pressed on. It's moments like that that I wish I had recorded it.
Can you do a Conquest Guide? Like a more advanced one, not just "you gotta cap flags", more like what should be going on in your mind. Where should I stand as a sniper, when should I attack, do you have to defend, what do to against only running arround seeing nobody. Would be very helpful 👍
This is terrible advice, unless you only care about score and not about actually winning the game. Defending flags in Conquest is vital - you need to have more flags than the enemy team to have any chance of winning the game. It's far more important that getting more kills.
1. Always look out which flag is gonna be captured - the enemy team is zerging. 2. Shortly after you capture a flag, defend it for a while. 3. Use your binocular to spot enemies (VERY IMPORTANT!) 4. Always assume there is an enemy coming from any corner when capture a flag.
Smoke is one of the best things in BFV. I always use it for revives, but almost as important is putting it right in front of snipers or hill humping MMG players. They're blinded and useless for long enough for me to change positions. That's why I run double smokes.
Medic has been my favourite class from launch. Infinite heals, fast revives and 4 (6 with ammo) smokes is VERY powerful. Helps to revive, close the distance, retreat and confuse enemies. Best weapons: *ZK* : Best Subby with the fire rate upgrade. Once you master the recoil it shreds at close and medium range. *Sten* : I honestly think this thing is OP. Slow TTK but it's a fucking lazer beam. Long range whatever. *M28 Tromboncino* : Arguably best sniper rifle in the game. With the rate if fire upgrade it's basically a slow firing semi auto. 2 shot kill 1 shot headshot at medium range. Beast weapon. Also the slide is you mention is REALLY useful. Not a lot of people know but you can control the direction mid slide. Meaning you can slide round corners etc.
Every time i run the medic class, i end up top 5 overall with best medic score. I love using this class Also, smokes remove any form of spotting, and that red box effect you see when an enemy is being suppressed.
Most of this translates pretty well to console. We might have a slightly higher emphasis on hipfire in close quarters due to our slower turning (and ADS aiming), but the principles mostly remain the same. Important note for smoke: you want in close to your target (downed teammate or maneuver angle), but also in between your target and the enemy. To visualize, A is you as a Medic, B is a downed teammate, and C is the suspected location of the enemy. A 1 2 3 4 B 5 6 7 8 9 C Instead of smoking B, it's often better to smoke 5. When you put smoke right on target, sometimes the smoke doesn't billow far enough and you'll be visible when you go for that revive. But if you overshoot just a little, you have a better chance of getting the concealment you need. Oh, and when you're downed and there are nearby player who can revive you, frigging *wait* and give them a chance to clear the area first. You can hold on for 34 seconds. I am sick to death of tagging downed teammates with the "Incoming" marker, taking a few seconds to kill their killer, and then turning around to see they skipped revive. Fewer points for me, another ticket bled from the team's score, and another death for that guy's tally, all because he was too impatient to wait six goddamn seconds.
For all the medics who actually use their smokes *BEFORE* they revive a downed t8....KEEP DOING THAT....PLZ...IM TIRED OF GETTING REVIVED AND DYING AGAIN
Just started playing. So far love the medic I leveled up 5x in single game from just revives and bandages. My favorite moment was when a tank? Artillery? Shell hit us in a building and I revived 6 people then we were under constant fire and me and some other medic kept reviving teammates and we held out for a 5-8 minutes. It was glorious me and my team also got best squad (my first)
I really like your videos. The way you seem to think about stuff and how you express your thoughts, really set your videos apart from lots of other content, at least for me i think. I think you know this, but remember to do a combat roll when jumping of great hights! You could have avoided the fell to death and the fall damage in your clips on twisted steel and devastation. You do it by pressing the crouch or jump button, or whatever you want i guess if you customize your controls, shortly before you hit the ground . Easy to say for someone who's never played medic once, that revive animation turns you into a sitting duck and is basically a suicide mission. If you sucked so bad at killing medics in bf1 that you felt it was unfair then you absolutely deserve to be overrun by them.

PC tip here: I have my "Medkit Throw" button bound to both 3 and to a thumb button. This way, I can spam heals out to allies as well as constantly heal myself. Super helpful for countering incendiaries or artillery strikes.

I've been playing for a little over a year now almost exclusively as medic and reviving is like 90% of what I do, as it should be for someone with the field medic combat role. I see no one complaining when we end up taking points left and right thanks to our medic's constant rezzing. Not sure what else they expect us to do, it's literally our job?
One tip, as a console player. You mention the ZK with faster firerate as the better specialization tree. On console, I think it is a little bit too hard to control and you're better off with the extended mag as aiming is naturally harder with a controller
I k ow I'm late to this but BF5 is still a relevant game: if you see a large group of teammates taking heavy fire put smoke between them and the enemy while throwing bandages at them. Managing to keep 3-6 teammates alive in gunfights can completely change the tide of entire objectives.
If you wanted ideas for a load out that at least works, I personally run the Sten with Quick Reload, Ported Barrel, Barrel Bedding, and Recoil Buffer (your choice of sight and cosmetics.) My sidearm is the M1911 and melee weapon is your choice. I use medic pouches, smoke launcher, and smoke grenades. The Combat Role is Field Medic.
I love playing medic. Sitting at 5150 revives so i can say y teammates are pretty happy with me :) And playing with the MP34. This thing is a laser for longer distances.
TIP medical and ammo crates have radius resupplies. That includes when you holding them. When friendly players are using the crates just walk up to them and you'll notice an interact key. Press the key and you'll get resupplied.
About the Slide/dash in BFV: I tried pretty much every combo possible and never felt comfy with any of them. In the end I just created a mini script using AutoHotKey which is programmed to press crouch twice consecutively whenever I press the 'C' key which is so so easy to push down with my thumb. I'm now constantly dashing around! :^)

What you want is AHK to double keystroke whenever you press C. It sounds odd, but trust me it is really simple to do. I would love to paste the code here for you but unfortunately I changed computers a while back and I'm not playing Bfv these days (until BF6 comes out! :D) You just need to google: - AHK generate a double keystroke. -AHK sintaxis for Shift, Control, Tab Keys, etc (because you'll dash while sprinting) Trust me it's like a 6 lines script, you'll be able to do it in a breeze!
Some maps are good medic but really depends on your accuracy, and how do you use your equipment. As player that loves the medic class in bfv i think it needs some buffs on it smoke grenade.
Medic is good at all ranges depending on your skill level if you suck with the carbines on more open range maps you can use the mp34 which is a laser I’m surprised more people do not use this gun it’s top 3 in the medic class especially when it comes to the more open long range maps
I’m a console player and the sten is an absolute beast for that control aspect compared to the suomi which is a beast on its own if I was playing on pc
Try tapping the suomi whilst aiming and shooting for medium range - like fire around 7 to 9 shots while holding your stick a little bit down and crouching Or hip fire the shit out of your enemies in close range
Smoke is used to blind enemy gun sights, so if in close quarter situation or a long channel area just pop it at enemy's feet, but if you're out in the open, you better land the grenade just slightly ahead of your downed buddy. And may be footwork(A/D) can help compensate the horizontal recoil? I'm not 100% sure, sometimes I saw clips that seems to have no recoil, and I found they always does rhythmic A/D movement. Target switching is the key to win 1 vs. m combats. I dreamed to have the aim like shroud and rela, but sadly I'm just not that guy for this, maybe I'll get an *Expensive Gaming Chair*?
Not enough people play medic with smokes. I carry smoke grenades and smoke launcher to revive my teammates, including other medics. Unfortunately, more times than not, these medics carry AP mines and frag grenades so they rarely ever revive me back
In BF3 on consoles I used to have rediculous KDA ratio and still being a Medic. Doing a 52 kill and 3 death by reviving everyone on the game changed the game in TDM. I prefered the medic in bf3 because they had pretty good guns with balanced stats. In BF5 you have yo sacrifice damage output and range
@@williamdavison1791 well for one relaying the entire map/battle before spawning and keeping track on where the enemies are pushing and where your teammates are pushing, this was you can "plan your play" before you die. 2. I always play the role as medic as best I can even if I'm not a medic. If I choose to switch to assault due to a tank I'll still be the first to respond to a down squadmate. If I'm a medic everyone on my team is getting healed no matter what the situation is.

I play battlefield on console and I know you said you can’t give the exact details on it but I’ve been trying to slide for weeks now in games and it is impossible . I’ve been playing on Pacific storm, grand operations and team deathmatch a LOT. I’ve got some friends that tell me “just press the B to crouch and then you’ll slide but you won’t see it” I have no idea if that’s right or not but I just can’t slide, if you maybe could explain that’d be lovely

Kinda hate how blatently the devs have a bias for medic. There isn’t really a reason to play another class outside of very specific uses, like anti tank for assault, sniping for fun, or brrrrrrrrrrt for support. Meanwhile medic has the best close range options outside shotguns, infinite heals with no cooldowns, infinite revives with no cool downs, smokes, and still has the building mechanic
Great video! I only run medic I've found sliding and retreating as explained in this vid has improved my gameplay and kd and revive survivability. Don't just go for the Rambo revives. Take a few seconds to check your corners and area first and as ART says, smoke it up baby!

Never defend points in Conquest, all the points your team gets it from capping new obj so defending is useless and time waste

I just start playing this game and being medic fit me right. the smoke smoke trick work pretty well on stealth killing enemies.
Image the soldiers thoughts when going into battle and all of a sudden 50 smokes gets thrown in their face and a medic yeets them with a knife

The zk and mp28 are probably the best all around versatile medic guns. I'd throw the mab in there but it's a bit restricted to medium range.
Depending on how the particular server your in registers your shots, the weapons can be fun. That’s asking a lot of the game!

TIP battlefield 5 has a manual leaning mechanic. By default on pc press f while aiming then use a strafe key A or D and your character will lean.

Idk for me the zed K is iffy on console I think so I typically don't use it I just use the m1928

I use to go L,L,L,R but now I opt for the fast reload at the end. So I recommend full left side.

I play battlefield on console and I know you said you can’t give the exact details on it but I’ve been trying to slide for weeks now in games and it is impossible . I’ve been playing on Pacific storm, grand operations and team deathmatch a LOT. I’ve got some friends that tell me “just press the B to crouch and then you’ll slide but you won’t see it” I have no idea if that’s right or not but I just can’t slide, if you maybe could explain that’d be lovely
For me I double tap the circle button or if your on Xbox the crouch button. So while your running just double tap that button 🙂

Kinda hate how blatently the devs have a bias for medic. There isn’t really a reason to play another class outside of very specific uses, like anti tank for assault, sniping for fun, or brrrrrrrrrrt for support. Meanwhile medic has the best close range options outside shotguns, infinite heals with no cooldowns, infinite revives with no cool downs, smokes, and still has the building mechanic
Never run out for a revive if you are unsure if people are around. Would suck to give some dude 2-3kills instead of just the one.
I think the medic class is actually the best and an OP class in bfv

Great video! I only run medic I've found sliding and retreating as explained in this vid has improved my gameplay and kd and revive survivability. Don't just go for the Rambo revives. Take a few seconds to check your corners and area first and as ART says, smoke it up baby!

Are you kidding me??? lol Medics are the MOST POWERFUL class. You can basically keep yourself alive forever and people around you. I have a 4 KD with the medic class on XBOX bro.. good video bro...
