Hello, thank you for making this video. Very helpful. Would you know why would RPM drop on a condenser motor. I don’t feel any air coming. I did clean all around the condenser screen with water. Can you please help. Thank you
If your RPM is dropping or it seems the fan isn’t turning as fast as it should, it could be a capacitor issue. It’s a fairly cheap part if you do it yourself. You would just need to get the readings off of it. But if that doesn’t fix it, then new motor
my capacitor went bad and i had been starting the fan with a screwdriver while i waited to get a capacitor and the fan ended up seizing so i now have to replace the fan and capacitor but i was wondering roughly how much would a hvac repair company charge to replace a fan motor and capacitor?
Good job brother, thank you for taking the time to upload these videos!

Exactly what I'll be doing in a couple days. The capacitor I got was dented in shipping so I sent it back, didn't feel right to use it.
Good call. Even if it worked, it probably would have shortened the life of it.

Depends if they go back with the OEM motor or not. Also depends on area too. But on average you can expect about $600-800 bill.
Hi Jeff. What is the capacitor requirement for this motor? Mine seems doesn't work right
Pretty sure this one was a 5/370
