Roatan 2019 Snapshot

This 20-minute video provides a snapshot of Roatán, a tropical island and snorkeling and scuba-diving mecca 65km (40 miles) off the north coast of Honduras.
We spent two weeks there in late February 2019 as guests of friends who love Roatán so much, they've bought a vacation home in Sandy Bay.
The Meso-American Reef, the secnd-largest reef system in the world, is literally just off-shore, and the waters are clear and warm, which makes it ideal for snorkelers and divers.
Roatán is in the Central time-zone, and the airport at Coxen Hole has daily service from Houston, Atlanta and Miami as well as flights to the Honduran mainland, plus weekly charter flights from Toronto and Montreal.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL TIP: US dollars and Honduran Lempiras (1 USD = 24 Lempiras) are the only currencies accepted on Roatán, and if you bring US dollars, it's critical that none of the bills has any nicks or tears, as merchants and banks will not accept any US bills that are not in perfect condition!
I made this video from content shot on my iPhone 8, supplemented with a few shots by our friends, and some aerial shots from Google Earth Pro.
The music in the video is, in order, "Roatán" by Albeezy, "Chee Zee Beach" by Kevin McLeod, and "Coral Reef" by Derek and Brandon Fiechter.

The ROATAN sign at the beginning is a mile down the road from me, in front of the gas station on Flowers Bay road, people love it , all the time traffic stopped there taking pictures,
