I've been following your stuff for a while now. Wish I had you as a teacher mid 70s era LOL. All your stuff brings back memories and reminds me what I've forgotten. :-)... Your teaching methods are very easy and simple. ;-)
(Unrelated comment) Hi, Josh. Your way of teaching reminds me of my grade 10 Math teacher. You really love math as much as he do and you always enthusiastically teach us Math. You encourage me more to study Math because you put your heart in teaching us more Math knowledge and tricks - those who put their hearts in teaching would never get me bored in studying and I will always appreciate them as much as I appreciate you.
When he started typing in red pen, that's when it got silly. Just subtract 18y - 4y to get 14y. And then 24 - 10 to get 14. So y = 1. When he began multiplying both sides by -1, he just made it more complicated than it needed to be.
if you get both equations in the form x = something involving y, then you can say x=x so put the two equations equal to each other and solve for y, what method is this called? I think it is an easy method.
@@nadehzdamamerto749 From second equation x=12-9y Then substitution in first equation of value of x Now you have equatuon in one variable y After you get the value of y you can get the value of x by substitution in any equation .
I can't believe it. I can solve for y mentally now that I'm 56. When I was doing college algebra our instructor had to explain it to us many times and still didn't get it, 😂

Yes, you are right!

Yes sir, you are right!
Love that Aussie 14: FOOORDEEN.
Love your teaching style I’m in year 9 and your videos are very helpful. 👍👍👍
Thanks man u saved my grade
Thank you... Fantastic tips always....
Fantastic lesson.
Wow, this is amazing so conspicuous and concise.😺😺😺
Epic! Already got it lol
Any help with word problems would be cool, taking aircraft math in college, been 27yrs., Yikesss
Thank you very much for this video, i was really struggling with my homework
ty ty, this was a massive help
Do you have anything that can explain inequalities? Those are my nightmare right now
Love this. Great revision - I home school my child and need to teach this soon!
and your using your sons account? or did he just change your profile to his avatar
you explained better than my teacher in a shorter time, wow😮
Thanks i get it now!
Sir very very Good trick, hury up
Fantastic video
You’re the best 🎉❤
legend, thanks you.
Thanks so much you've been of good help to my daughter👍👍👍🤩🤩
Thank you
Thanks!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH but i do have a question thooo why did u times it by -1 i didnt get that bit at all
Best teacher

I realy love it
nice teaching skills
Thanks
How to make video like you on this board?
Any application please suggest me
MindYourChoices white board app.
wait so is it always x2 for every equation?

substitution
youre taking one definition of x and youre substituting it in with another definition involving x in order to eliminate them
@@SomeRandomFellow ah yes, thanks mate its substitution you're right, cheers!
Substitution
Aye sir, Thanks.
What do you do if the x on the second equation isn’t right underneath?
Substitute
i love you josh
Yay i get it
Good
I tried the last one myself.. finally i have solved something on techmatch channel yayy
1. 6x - 3y = 3 x2
2. 4x + 5y = 16 x3
12x - 6y = 6 x-1
12x + 15y = 48
-12x +6y = -6
12x + 15y = 48
21y = 42
y = 2
============
6x -6 = 3
6x = 9
x = 1.5
=============
Check
9 - 6 = 3
6 + 10 = 16
You could have started out by multiply by 5 and 3 and then avoid having to multiply by -1 in a later step.
Everyone else : in 10th grade or a teacher
Me : 7th grader who knows 'almost' as much as a ninth grader

Lmao I’m doing 9th grade work in 5th then
Sir, how to solve subtitution method?.
Find the value of X, and put it in the 2nd equation.
@@onlinecsk still can't get it.

@@ahmedhalad8700 okay. Thanks sir.
@@nadehzdamamerto749 you are welcome
what about the 10 and 25?
You should do another question like:
3x - 2y = 2
5x - 5y = 10
Have a go!
please why negative 1? 8:04
3y can only be 3(1), 3(2) or 3(3). Meaning y can only be 1,2, or 3. Easily solving the x term for the solution
Oh my god how did you get x=3 can someone help
12:24 ??
😀
Every time it works, ask yourself what would happen if x=1. Saves a lot of time. If it doesn't work though, don't do that.
Unfortunately, putting 1 every time doesn't make sense. Because X can have all the values and unless X=1, equation won't get satisfied.
@@onlinecsk Well that's what I'm saying. It only makes sense if you're right. Otherwise don't do that ever.

I still don't understand 😢😢😢

You have to explain it better
Australian? Do you not mean maths?
