No he was paid immensely during that time - cost of living taken into consideration. A flat in mumbai can be bought for 10 lakhs then and he was paid that per movie. Im sure they invested in flats around mumbai and live off the interest. Each of those flats would be 10 crores plus now. Upperclass doesnt rely solely on employee income but investment income.

As a person who understands a little bit of law, I am baffled about this case. if FIR was lodged and forgery established, how can a civil court proceed with the case despite the same? All that the lawyer should do is produce evidence that a charge-sheet has been filed by the Police against the accused for forgery under the relevant ipc sections?
