    Philippians 1:23 to 26
I am hard-pressed between the two. (Death and life)
    My desire is to depart
(One of the sweet names of Death. Also: 1. sleep- Jesus and Paul both reference people considered dead as just asleep 2. Gain- vs 21, it means being with Christ. 3. Joined - an OT reference to being with the fathers together. 4. Depart- vs 23 and the Nunc Dimittis in he divine service, to leave this vale of tears, the 7th Petition of the Lord’s Prayer , to deliver us from this evil world and take us to heaven to be with Jesus)
    and be with Christ,
    for that is far better.
But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.
    Convinced of this,
(A Good definition of the Pastoral Office- that a Pastor would prefer to be in heaven, rather he remains with the church, continues to teach, and is with the church for the purpose to further their joy and faith.)
    I know that I will
    remain and
    continue
    with
    you all,
    for your progress and joy
    in the faith,
so that in me you may have ample cause (that you would be rejoicing, an overflowing of joy, serious joy)
to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.

You said that it was the Lord's decision whether we were to live or die yet Paul said he didn't know what he would choose like he had the power to choose

    A comment most dull
    Or a comment most witty
    Choose ye now betwixt
