We are the official search squad. We are engaged in the search and burial lost Red Army soldiers/
If we can to know their names, we looking for relatives and bury them on their native land with all the honors.
All iron similar to weapons and ammunition we give away to police. Sometimes some samples are deactivated directly in the forest for subsequent transfer to museums.
We do not sell the finds.
If we find German soldiers, we transfer the remains or their location to an organization that is looking for German soldiers in Russia.
This is not our job. It's our Hobby. We are doing this for the sake of interest and heartfelt satisfaction, in order to contribute to history not in words but in deed

Truly mind blowing how a lot of these artists are just there for anyone to find. And the one video I watched where the soldier was laying on the ground and discovered just off the road after being there for 70 yrs.... it's just mind blowing.
So that’s where all the mosins came from on the US market.

YOU GUYS ARE SO LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY FINDING SUCH HISTORY ..........
@Lazar there's actually quite a bit of American History buried and forgotten about especially from the American Civil War it's just a lot of battlefields are protected now where people are strictly forbidden to dig but that doesn't mean people still don't find guns and other artifacts plus skeletal remains everywhere from that war so we've had our fair share of struggles.
Lazar, you got that right!
I KNOW RIGHT I at least want to get my hands on a ww2 helmet
@Lazar its true, this is probably why we are so fascinated with this.
I'm honestly shocked those rifles weren't in way worse condition.
Bill Melater water helps preserve the weapons.
I am guessing, but believe it has to do with what minerals and the amount of oxygen in the water/ground that helps preserve them, or causes them to decay.
The water has nothing to do with it it's the mud that preserved the weapon and helmet if it was in the water without the mud it would Crowed
@josh carrera There's nothing special about their build as compared to today's rifles. There isn't much that's special about shellac on wood or hot blued steel then anymore than today. As a point of fact, we do actually have better steel today as a result of refinement technology. As for surface treatments, we have way better methods today than 60 years ago by a long shot.
I suspect that the water in those swamps has a pretty low oxygen content and if they've been kept out of sunlight, that helps a lot too.
Bill Melater finally someone who knows what their saying
Hello Guys, Perhaps one of your best finds was the last one, the trapped animal!!!👍🤔 Thanks for caring, for sure.🤗🙏🏻👍 Be safe, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 👍👍🙏🏻😇👊
Вечная ПАМЯТЬ,НАШИМ ЗАЩИТНИКАМ!!!
The beautiful thing about swamps they preserve anything and everything so damn well!
When they found that mine I got worried, and I am just watching the video. I just pray for all of these people's safety when they go out there
They are experienced and not total USA cop cowards. Many of us Vets handled and recovered shit like that for the police before they had the retarded laws & rules they have now days. It's best handled like these guys did just gently set it aside try not to push that detonator. There was an early U Tube metal detecting video where 2 Ruskies used a huge a board they stood up it on end let it come down on 2 mines to whack their pair of anti tank mines they ducked behind a huge barricade of logs as the big ole plank came down. It was a modest effort of getting rid of something that was made for nothing other than death and destruction and they seemed to have good time getting rid of em too. The mines did not have their former fierce potency probably due to age. But the technique they used was effective to dispose of such deadly trash
@@thekingsilverado9004 Your comment made my knee grow a little more.

That ww2 hedgehog, remarkably preserved.

Интересное видео. Техника безопасности на высоте, удивляюсь как автор ещё жив.
This is really interesting and fascinating. Wish I could help but I’m on the wrong side of the Atlantic Ocean. Thank you for sharing the video and the English captioning. I’m trying to understand why they would dump so many guns in a swamp like that, especially when they were probably still working condition.
Watch some of their other video where they pull up the former owners of the equipment as well. Hard to retrieve equpment from a swamp once the owner has fallen into it.
Your climate seems similar to what we have in Norway! That gives me hope. Lots of ww2 stuff here
Norwegian whats your name?
Haha english
I live in Norway too and I know a place a few kilometers from my house where lots of German weapons are claimed to be quickly dumped and hidden during the last days of war. This is on a place the size of a football soccer field, but nobody know exactly where and nobody has never tried to find them. But it is not as easy as just going there and find the guns, they are hidden and you can't see them. The landscape at the place is also very various and difficult so trying to find them will probably be very hard, and they might not even be there anymore, if they ever have been there at all.
WhatAreYouSaying? Did they ever find that German train that was buried in a mountain side? I heard about that on the news here in America. Never heard anything else about it. I would love to do what these guys are doing. I'd be a little scared to mess with mortars shells.
WhatAreYouSaying? Wow I would love to go there so much

26:10 O_O Uh, something you DON"T want to find. German Tellermine 35 anti tank mine. That one looks reeeeally well preserved. Gulp
27:20 Soviet sapper shovel
28:40 mortar shells might be for 50mm soviet mortars
29:40 a rifle that had a really bad day.
30:00 PPSh-41 drum magazine. Nice
Thank you for your support) you realy super guy!)
You are my hero for doing this.
Dude, thanks for this
I agree that it was very dangerous to find that tellermine but it needs a 91kg(200 pounds) of pressure to activate the detonator, nevertheless it always has to be manipulated with caution
I think the mosin at ~5 min+ is an older WW1 variant. The one at ~8min is the 91/30. I could be wrong, but the main identifier is the iron-site style (the "ramp" in the middle of the rifle). The earlier mosins had that notched style ramp, and the 91/30s had the smooth ramp. I think the m38 was a short-barrel carbine version, and I don't see that here. Not much difference either way. Just differences in the barrel length and the iron sight.
2nd Mosin appears to be an M91 or a Dragoon, rear sight is in Arshins and a hex receiver
You guys have a lot of heart. Not much sense but a lot of heart, digging up live munitions like that.
I would love to be part of this crew. So lucky and humbling to be able to see, touch, and witness artifacts, bones and weapons from what will be another forgotten part of history bc people don't think it never happened...knowing that I have family from Poland, Sweden, and Norway and Germany and Romania ..I know I had family that died in the camps.
