Programming languages are a lot like spoken languages. There really are no "better" ones. There's just ones where you like the syntax (or in spoken: how it sounds) and feel comfortable and enjoy it. I recommend spending a few hours on all the common ones today and figuring out which one your brain clicks with. For me, I don't like python. Doesn't mean it's an inferior language, just means I don't enjoy it. I don't like the syntax or how it looks.. Find the language that your brain is like "yeah, I get this.."
