Thank you. We need to learn to appreciate our own and build what is ours.
This is not new. The middle east has always been wicked.

I sincerely wish I had known before coming to the middle East. I'm making it my business to make sure every African knows this before travelling to the UAE

It will take a while to rebuild Africa but for now if you need to get out please do . Indians are everywhere in the world but there remittances have also contributed in building their country.

@@idehenreosas3969 Direct recruitment of professionals is close to impossible especially for Africans. All the recruitment agencies advertise for blue collar jobs. They take maids, drivers, waiters/waitresses and security guards mostly. It maybe easier for Western citizens to get hired for professional roles.

Ambazonians AkA " Southern Cameroonians " are marginalized and killed by the government of La republic of Cameroon daily. These are Africans or blacks from the same Country. None believers , wine drinkers expected to be honored in an Islamic country.

It wasn't always like that... and if you are saying that drinking alcohol is the reason why they are oppressed. Hahah you wouldn't be more wrong. Imagine how Emirates drink, or other Asians

I like the sound and sight of you, but unfortunately, that is all i took out of this video. I am an African, living in Europe the last 20 plus years. In all of that time, i have travelled to different parts of the world and seen different people. There is one thing in common i realised; There is racism EVERYWHERE and even more so in sub-sahara Africa. If i had time, i would talk about racism Nigerians faced in Ethiopia, other Africans in South Africa, how economic migrants suffer all over Africa, etc etc. In my estimation, This story you are talking about is more about poverty than racism. You were perceived to be poor, and poor people do not have a lot of options. If a black American for example goes to the UAE and speaks like an American, then his value suddenly appreciates. This is a situation you will find in every part of the world. Some of you are disrespected in the UAE or Dubai bcos you add no value and you are seen as a poor person. People usually treat poor people bad, that unfortunately is a human curse.
Finally, as a poor black man, i think i m more respected in Europe by Europeans and their institutions than in Africa by Africans and their institutions, talk-less of North Africans. That is my experience. So, i will rather live in Europe where as a black man, i have certain rights and respect than i would have had i been in another African country with the same socio-economic status.
FYI; you have made an honest and sincere call on Africans to stay on the continent (motherland) to avoid your experience or racism. Unfortunately, you failed to suggest how they will feed their families or deal with their economic realities which forced migration in the first place. Africans are not travelling to sell their labour cheap just because the want to see tall buildings or cleaner streets. They are migrating for economic purpose because to most, it is the last resort or a Hobson`s choice. In this case, a perceived or real experience of racism is the least of their worries.

Finding other words to describe my situation, thanks but to me, it’s racism. Whether I was perceived as poor, Asians are poorer than Africans and they received a different treatment. So being perceived as poor wasn't the real issue. The real and only issue was and still is racism. I and many Africans are discriminated against because of our skin colour. Get this, Indians who hole Ugandan passports receive a different treatment. And like I have said many times, sure everyone non Emirati receives a fair share of discrimination but it's simply worse from Africans as they are literally being kicked out.

    • @eessoms
      @eessoms Месяц назад

@GlobalPulseWithMonicah perception perception perception. Indians who hold Ugandan passports are treated better bcos 1) they are perceived to be of more value and
      2) Do you think culturally, the Indian has learned to carry and represent themselves in different ways which Africans have not?
Can you please tell me the contribution of a black man or black Africa to the human scholarship or endeavour as compared to India? Just Anything, in the STEM, philosophy, politics , architecture, medicine, anything. What is the contribution of the black man. What has Africa given to the world to demand respect apart from complaining about natural resources or colonialism?
This is not an assault on Africa, I just want to learn. Please kindly teach me something.

@@eessomsYou raise some deeply reflective points, and you’ve clearly put significant thought into these questions. However, they venture into existential territory questions that no one else can conclusively answer on your behalf. I’d encourage you to invest some of your valuable time researching and examining credible sources, both historical and contemporary.
Once you’ve gathered what you find, consider whether and how you, a human being, have done or are doing as your part. Then ask yourself, "What contribution have I, as a black man or black African, made to human scholarship or endeavor as compared to India? Just Anything, in the STEM, philosophy, politics, architecture, medicine, anything". Ultimately, the answers you uncover through your own research and introspection will likely be more meaningful than any quick response another person can provide. And I hope that sparks you to take action that will lead humanity to a better place.

With all due respect, racism exists everywhere, including in Africa. The claims you are making might seem exaggerated or intended for dramatic effect, but the idea that African professionals are being expelled from the UAE solely because they are Black is unfounded. This is a complete fallacy. While the UAE is not perfect, it does not exhibit the same level of institutional racism that can be observed in Europe and America.

Really? All the Arabs are racist as shit. In Western you can legally fight you can be in government official, doctor, lawyer and many other things. Arabs and Indians are racist and will not change because there is not law that challenges their ignorance.
You could say they may have respect for elite blacks from the West but just because you are not racist doesn’t mean your fams aren’t.
