If you have Reasoning and Quant section as your strength then attempt as many possible Qs. to fetch enough marks to lower the cutoffs in merit section. If you are done with your GA section, give all your best effort in non merit sections. Because it will increase your chances as it will indirectly lower the merit section cutoff and overall cutoff.
Non merit is not counted for over all cut off
@@EloraSelah are the cutoffs of non merit section fixed?? They are not fixed and depends on the overall performance of all candidates. If all of them perform well in non merit section the sectional cutoff will rise. Now If I am done with merit sections which are ESI, GA, ARD in 1 hour. shall I be investing too much time in merit section where I don't know answer or rather put my efforts in Non merit sections, like of reasoning and quantitative. Here all candidates assume cutoff will be 2 3 marks. but if all choose to perform better here, they will raise the sectional cutoff and there will be number of candidates who don't clear that raised sectional cutoff. As a result the actual cutoff for merit section will go down.
