- This video is a summary of my 9 days trip to Kerala-India. Most of the shots weren't planned and all the ideas were spontaneous. The funny part is that my dad was the only person to help taking the piece to camera. I decided to share this video with all people who are passionate about traveling and to let them discover this piece of heaven called Kerala. Some parts of the video were taken from youtube because i wasn't able to shoot all the time especially in Cochin because it was my first day in the country. The video might look a bit long but i couldn't summarize 9 days with less than that. I hope you like it and i promise to share more traveling experience videos when i get the chance. Wonderful place Kerala. Love the video and the narration as well. Come visit Bangladesh. Cox's Bazar, the world's longest sea beach. Sundarbans, the world's largest mangrove forest. Bandarbans, Saint Martin the coral island. Sylhet and chittagong hill-tracts etc etc ... Thanks for sharing the video.

Actually the name Kerala is derived from two Arab words خير الله
More than 70% 0f Historians agree with it, pronunciation difficulty of the letter ‘خ‘ and the word الله made it 'keiralla' after decades it become 'Kerala'.The strong reason Arab came by sea before decades for businesses, had strong relation with kings in this place.And small percentage people believe the word derived from two local language words which means place of coconut.Malayalam language is originated from 'Senthamil' which was literature 'Tamil' of the place located eastern side of Kerala.So most of the historian reject the second possibility words 'the place of coconut'and it also grows in other states as well.When Arab visit for the first time this was three states Travancore,Kochi,and Malabar(Mahalbahar).by seeing the beauty and greenish Arab exclaimed and said 'خير الله'.
Later the term Cheralam transformed as Kerala when it was taken to North. ... Kerala originally got its name after the first ruler, Keralian Thamboran, who ruled one of the independent provinces earlier in the millennia. The earliest Sanskrit text to mention Kerala by name is the Aitareya Aranyaka of the Rigveda.
Etymology
The name Kerala has an uncertain etymology. One popular theory derives Kerala from Kera ("coconut tree" in Malayalam) and alam ("land"); thus "land of coconuts",[12] which is a nickname for the state, used by locals, due to abundance of coconut trees.[13] The word Kerala is first recorded as Keralaputra in a 3rd-century BCE rock inscription left by the Maurya emperor Ashoka (274-237 BCE), one of his edicts pertaining to welfare.[14] The inscription refers to the local ruler as Keralaputra (Sanskrit for "son of Kerala"); or "son of Chera[s]". This contradicts the theory that Kera is from "coconut tree".[15] At that time, one of three states in the region was called Cheralam in Classical Tamil: Chera and Kera are variants of the same word.[16] The word Cheral refers to the oldest known dynasty of Kerala kings and is derived from the Proto-Tamil-Malayalam word for "lake".[17]
The earliest Sanskrit text to mention Kerala is the Aitareya Aranyaka of the Rigveda. Kerala is also mentioned in the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, the two Hindu epics.[18] The Skanda Purana mentions the ecclesiastical office of the Thachudaya Kaimal who is referred to as Manikkam Keralar, synonymous with the deity of the Koodalmanikyam temple.[19][20] Keralam may stem from the Classical Tamil cherive-alam ("declivity of a hill or a mountain slope")[21] or chera alam ("Land of the Cheras"). The Greco-Roman trade map Periplus Maris Erythraei refers to Keralaputra as Celobotra.[22]

٤-٥ تيكادي
٦-٧ أليبي
٨-٩ كوفالام
١٠ كولام
١١-١٢ كوتشين
مع سائق متفرغ بالسيارة ويتكلم عربي طول الرحلة
من كوتشين الى مونار ٤،٣٠ ساعة وتشمل زيارة الشلالات بالطريق
مونار معالمها والسدود
من مونار الى تيكادي ٢،٣٠ ساعة وزيارة مزرعة الشاي والبهارات بالطريق
تيكادي المعالم والمحمية وركوب الفيل وقوارب البحيرة
من تيكادي الى أليبي ٤ ساعات
زيارة الشاطئ و قضاء يوم بالبيت النهري
من أليبي الى كوفالام ٣،٣٠ ساعة شواطئ
من كوفالام إلى كوتشين ٤،٣٠ ساعة تسوق وسواحل

Very good picturisation and editing. Though the language is not totally understandable like MUSIC, Kerala needs no knowledge of any language to understand it!! Nature and its beauty has to be seen, less explained in any language.
Thanks for the interest in Kerala. PS:At times better to see and do not understand the explanations, because most explanations in Eanlgih/Hindi(!) are wrong, which Malayalam speaking Keralites can understand, but they excuse,and do not murmur.
