As a resident of Phuket, I highly recommend this video. Surin Beach just 2 km north of Kamala Beach is also worth checking out, with stunning views & plenty of food & drink options & away from the busy road
Hi I am from Bangladesh and planning to visit phuket in August 1st week.I will stay 4 days. Can you recomend which beaches should I put in my check list
Hi guys. Writing this at our hotel in Kamala which we're staying in as a result of watching the this video. We've been to Thailand numerous time, and Phuket before, but this time we've come back with our 14 & 16yo kids. Stayed at Kata, Patong & Kamala, and although we loved them all for what they respectively offer, Kamala is our winner too. We loved it for all the same reasons you did, and we'll certainly be back as a couple. Thanks for the referral
@@STKvideoseries yeah sure. As we needed a 2 bedroom suite we were going to stay at either Kamala apartments on the beachfront, or Glam Habitat back on the main road. As the apartments wanted immediate, non-refundable payment when we booked 6 months ahead but Glam had a 7 day prior free cancellation policy we went with Glam. Apartments was a much better location, but Glam was still only a 120m stroll to the beach anyway, so no big deal. If it was Just my wife & myself without the kids we'd have a world of choice available - probably the resort on the beachfront right in town
I'm 54. But, Patong is still my go to beach 'cos it's just so central to everything. You can find plenty of hotels at each end of the beach if you wanna be away from all the night scene and crowds. Red Hot and New York have a mix of dance, pop and rock. And you got a Hard Rock cafe and a couple of reggae bars there, too. Pretty much live music every night. 🤘
We will be in Thailand again (3rd time) and we will stay in Bangkok and Phuket. We were wondering which beach but after this video --- Kamala Beach it will be!Thanks!
We loved karon beach. We found a mom and pop restaurant/beach bar that was so fun. it was down at the very end so that is why you probably missed it. Love your videos. Your videos are a big part of why we made the decision to sell our home and do what you are doing! Thanks so much for giving us the confidence and that final push to go for it!!
My favourite beach is Kamala. It's an absolute beauty. Everything you need like food, drinks and massages right at your doorstep. Great video guys, keep up the great work. 👍

Hello Brian and Carrie, I love your videos. I'm from Florida but have lived in Dubai for the past 16 years. I'm 44 years of age and semi-retired. Still have an 18 and a 16 year old son and daughter whom I'm taking care of until the time comes for them to fly like birds. My son is moving back to Florida next year, 2 years later will be my daughter. After that, my wife and I are planning on traveling the world with the mentality of living in areas like the ones you guys visit for long periods of time. Anyways, thank you for the recommendation about where to stay in Phuket. I just booked a stay at Wabi Sabi Hotel in Kamala Beach. I'm taking my son as a thank you for being awesome with the way he conducted in school. You guys rock!
Thanks for the great informative vid. Really helpful in planning our family trip with our teens to Thailand this December to see the various beaches. We had settled on Khao Lak as a place to base ourselves for 5 nights but I was worried it might be a bit isolated - have you been?! Would be great to get your thoughts. So just in case, we were looking at alternatives. Surprisingly the Wabi Sabi resort came up in a search I did independently before watching your vid and to see you guys liked it made me go grab a booking ... I got the last two rooms that were available for our dates! Thanks again!
I can 100% confirm that Patong Beach was not for us either😬 We'll definitely stay near y'all's neck of the woods when we go back!! Great video guys, & can't wait to see y'all again real soon!!!!
Kamala has a nice laid back chill vibe about it, not to boring and not too overcrowded like Patong can get. I guess that's why I signed a 12 month condo lease. Thanks for the video. Safe travels.
Before Covid, there were all stuff on the beaches, beach chairs, beach bar, massages etc! It was too crowded. Once Covid hit, they moved all of it and I think it’s best because you get to enjoy the beaches and view!

Good to know, Hans, thank you for the info! We wish we had had more time and our own transportation to get around the island. Thank you for the comment and for watching!! Very much appreciated. Cheers!!🍻
Yanui Beach and Nai Harn Beach are loved by families because of their shallow and clear water. They are also small and very tranquil beaches which feel very secure and relaxing ❤🙏

Hi, Mark and Lori! Based on our itinerary, we are so glad you enjoyed your time in Thailand! 😃 It is so nice to hear. Always stay thirsty and safe travels! Cheers!!🍻
This video brought back great memories. I've been there during Songkran. I was staying in Kata Beach the last time I was there for Songkran. What a blast. Some areas of Thailand celebrate it for a week with water. Fortunately, Kata only has it for 1 day and it's shut down at 6pm.
We had fun with it for about as long as you saw in the video! 😆 It is fun to see and glad that we were there to experience it. Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
Patong wasn't my thing either.. way too busy, was ok for a day nothing more. So many other amazing spots in Thailand. That said can't complain about being anywhere in Thailand!! Great vid thanks for sharing 😊
That's just it, why complain while in Thailand? We are sure there are places that we would love even more than Koh Samui and Phuket. We just haven't had those experiences yet. So many great places. 😀 Cheers!!🍻
Thank you so much for this amazing video. We will be traveling to Phuket next year. I will use your RUclips as a guide. May I ask about the bus… Can you buy a pass for the whole day? Thanks ❤
We don't think there was a day pass, but the cost is minimal and easy to use so don't believe that it is necessary. Thank you for watching and happy travels!!! ❤️
You have Ska bar in the southern end of Kata beach and one more restaurant I dont remeber the name of. You can get beer there. We stayed at Beyond Kata beach resort close to Ska bar we ate lunch at Ska bar. Beyond Kata is a good resort, but not cheep resort. Next year 2025 we will stay at Bangtao beach at Best Western Bangtao. Earlier we have stayed at Arinara resort Bangtao. Thanks for good videos! Conny & Eva Sweden.
Thanks for the great blog guys very informative I'd already chosen kamala beach as my place to stay when I visit in Sept so was really interested but what made the video even more special was your accommodation its the place I've booked so that's an added bonus I can't wait and I'll now subscribe to you guys thanks.
With Kata Beach, the restaurants that are right on the beach are on the southern end. SKA BAR is set on the rocks at the southern end, where you get your sandand reggae music with your beer. As for views and tropical sunsets, you need to go to the AFTER BEACH BAR or one of its neighbours on the hill b3hind Kata
Thank you so much, this video was really helpful and it's great to see people closer to my age than the usual RUclips Vloggers. It's much easier to relate to you than to most of them. I ended up booking a hotel close to Kamala Beach thanks to your video.
You're so welcome! We love hearing this feedback and it encourages us to continue doing what we are doing. We really loved Kamala beach and the nice relaxed vibe it offered compared to many of the more "party" style beaches. Enjoy your trip ☺
Thanks guys! Ive been looking at wabi sabi and you have made up my mind. Im staying there for my last night in phuket. I'll have to watch some more of your videos.
You can't find things on the beach because of the tsunami. for safety reasons they couldn't build in the beach, which I think it's amazing not just for safety reasons but it keeps the beach clean from noisy bars. And why would you need markets or bars in the beach? I personally love the separation.
This is a great video thanks. I had spent hours researching the best area to suit my needs. Decided on Kamala and I’ve booked the Gram Habitat. Thanks guys. 😊
You guys missed Kata Noi beach ,it’s a smaller beach than Kata but more peaceful, if you want to take a sunbath in peace ,that’s a good one to choose ❤
RaWai in the south of Phuket is definitely my pick, it has everything you need for a short or long vacation 😊. You guys don’t rent a motorbike? Your choice but you will miss a lot!
Neither of us have any experience on motor bikes so it's really not by choice. We do miss out on the more difficult places to reach by using public transportation. Thank you for watching and adding to the channel!!😀 Cheers 🍻
Fantastic video, I’m heading to Phuket for a couple of months even though I’m youngish haha I don’t wanna party every night, but I would like a beach at a reasonable price and street food. I love the bus 🚌 advice too. Have you been to Mai Khao?
Thanks for reviewing a few beaches and showing an array of different vibes- definitely something that is harder to pick up on when just reading about a location or reading reviews. I also follow Probably Lost- did you plan to run into each other? Your snack war ...I totally relate my husband can polish off a whole order before I get in more than a few bites! But to be fair- he probably experiences the same thing if we are sharing a coffee or CamelBak :-)
When we were planning our time in Phuket we struggled to find info on what each area was really like - so that was the motive behind our video to hopefully help others trying to pick a location. We did plan to meet up with Probably Lost (they are great) but had a bit of a struggle finding each other in that chaos. Haha - snacks and beverages are a few things we just don't share. I think it takes me back to being a kid and my brother stealing my snacks - I just like to sit back and relax and know I can eat them as slowly or fast as I want 😂
I came down from BKK to Kata beach on the public bus and there’s no way I’d walk to Karon beach in the heat 😅. You guys are brave (um…crazy) to do that. Thank you 🙏 though for this video. I’m here in Kata and recognize some of the places u you showed 😊 👍!
Yes, we were there in April. I don't think that it would be too crowded. Accommodations may be easier to find in April than February, but April is still within the tourist season, and we didn't have any problems.
Currently seeking the new digital nomad Visa with Thailand… I might prefer to stay in Kata Beach because the party scene in Patong Beach might be a distraction for me. I would get nothing done lol
Personally I would stay potong!! It has it all great shopping with jangcelon shopping center! Great night life!! All the restaurants!! Hard Rock Cafe!! Hooters!! Night club's!! And if you want to day trip to the other beaches!! You're in the center!!!
I really look forward to Saturdays and getting one of your new videos! I truly laughed out loud about not sharing the snacks! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 That New Year’s celebration looked like so much fun! 💦💦💦 What a gorgeous place you’re staying at! 😍. Can’t wait to see your end of the month expense report to find out how much the place cost. Already looking forward to next week’s adventures.
Next week is more of an adventure than we usually bring so we hope that you enjoy it. 🙂 Our expense report will be out the following week. Thank you for watching our channel and commenting, Lorrie, we really do appreciate the support. Cheers!!🍻
Another great video-- so how does it compare to Koh Samui? Funny about the expensive transportation. I have not been there yet cause my Thai wife hates the expensive taxis there!
Thanks, Dan! There were quite a few differences between Koh Samui and Phuket, each that would make them appeal for totally different reasons. We are actually going to be doing a video in the next two weeks that will cover a comparison of the two locations, as we've had so many requests for it. The expensive taxis make it a bit challenging to move about and explore the island easily. Fortunately the bus was so great and easy. Thanks for watching!
Hi Guys, Thanks for another great video. I just got my Carrie recommended Peak Design camera strap. It is so much better than the strap that came with the Cannon M50. My next purchase will be the camera attachment Brian uses on his backpack. I am looking forward to next Saturday's video.
Great video guys, thank you so much for sharing the information on Kamala beach. I haven't been there myself yet, but was in Phuket 6 months ago and felt the same way about Kata and Karon. Kamala is also my idea of a great beach 😊
awesome review guys - great to get an unbiased perspective. After watching i think Karon beach is for me, but appreciate your choice and content. Keep up the good work
Great vid as always guys . I thought that beer was expensive 😧…. Just paid that for a pint of Guinness in Ramsgate 🇬🇧. You 2 looked like you were melting 🥵….All the very best 😀x
Hi, Jason. We were melting! 😆 The water fight was actually really nice. We have just arrived in Malaysia and beer is 3x the price as Thailand!!😳 Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
Hey Brian, do you use microphones with your GoPro? The sound was really good when you were in the chaos of songkran. We’ve learned a ton from your videos. 90 more days until we finally join you as full-time slomads. We really appreciate all your help. 😊
We use the GoPro media pod and are pretty happy with the results. Using the GoPro has been a game changer for us regarding ease of use and stabilization. 90 days will fly by and we really appreciate your support!! Cheers!!🍻
I enjoy your videos from beginning to end! I listen to them while I work lol I just let the videos play while I'm working :) and intake all the info provided lol My favorite part is the beer!!
Hi we are planning to go November as we want to start in Bangkok car it to Phukett before flying to Bali. Your vlog has really helped us. Thank you 😊 What month did you go in? We are looking at November Thanks again for a great vlog... 😊
Thank you for your videos Brian and Carrie! At the moment I am in between travels so I am travelling vicariously through you both! Have a beer 🍺 for me too! Safe travels
Hi, love your video, very informative. We are looking at a beach with restaurants and beach bars so we an just sit and relax for a while. I understand Kamala is nice, but Did you make it to Surin or Bang Tao?
I agree! I have been to all the beaches but we love Kamala. Of course we went during Covid and had the beaches to ourselves. It was a shock to see how many chairs were lined up on the beach. But we loved all the restaurants on the beach in Kamala. We spent 2 weeks there in 2021.
Wish we’d seen this video before booking our hotel in Phuket Old Town last month 😅 We did check out the west side of the island and agree Kamala will be the place for us to stay next visit!
The good news is Kamala Beach isn't too far away from where you will be. You should check out Koh Samui next time. We also loved our time there. Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
We spent time on both Koh Samui and Phuket, and ended up leasing a condo on Phuket (old town area). The shopping malls on Phuket are leagues ahead of Koh Samui, the water (we are scuba divers) is clearer, the reefs are healthier, and the marine life is more abundant. But if getting away from the crowds is your goal, Koh Samui might be the right choice for you.
Thank you for all the information. We are planning to go to Phucket nex week 30 apr. A bit scared that we are going at the start of the monsoon season and it's going to rain ...no blue sky and wather. Thank you again
You will have a great time! It will still be hot, and the thunderstorms are fun to watch! 😀 We are in Malaysia now and it is nice most of the day until the rain passes through, then it's gone. Have fun and safe travels!! Cheers!!🍻
Kamala is definitely one of my favourite beaches. Patong is a big favourite of my husband’s but for me it gets to loud and busy, but I suppose different strokes for different folks!
Dang, it!! That's the problem only having a few days and public transportation as your only source of transportation. We tend to miss some of the cool places we know we would have enjoyed. Thank you for adding the comment, Kevin, someone will read this and know of a good place in Kata Beach!! Cheers!!🍻
We tried both Bolt and Grab. However, after waiting an hour for the Bolt driver to try and locate our hotel, before abandoning the pick up, we switched to Grab and got our ride. While it may have been just an isolated incident, it was enough to turn us off from using Bolt.
Hey guys... I am watching your video on the television. This year was the first time I ever went to Thailand but I actually stayed in Udon Thani up north close to the border of Laos. I was in Thailand for 3 months. My lady friend and I would like to go to Pattaya and Phuket. I was happy to see that you were there in Thailand at the exact same time as I was because I got to experience the Songkran festival. I experienced riding through Udon Thani and getting hosed repeatedly with ice cold water and people shooting water guns at us. I laughed at you Brian when you got shot in the face...I was like yup...I know the feeling. By the way thank you for both of y'all for your beautifully made video. I like the way that you broke down all the different beaches. Good job! I loved it❤
Songkran is really something else!!! 😆 We had a great time going to the beaches that we were able to make it to. Thank you for watching and commenting!! ❤
Hello Brian & Carrie great video as always heaps of advice I am not a Patong Beach lover Kalama great place. Thank you for sharing loving your channel and videos. 🍻🏖
Another great video, so informative and acknowledging that your viewers may have different tastes than your own. Funny that Probably Lost was there with you! Fun times and place to catch up! I have to admit that this is the Thai lifestyle that I have been expecting all along, and that I can foresee that spending a month (or two or three) would be something very easy to do. Available water sports, swimming (good mention on the water temps being high) would all be experienced as and when needed. Cheers you two and the New Years Water Fight!
We always appreciate your support, Robert!! Next week's video will be a little different for us. We will get a little adventurous and explore a little bit more of what Thailand has to offer. Thanks again!! Cheers!!🍻
We stayed at Kata Beach in 2014 as 2 adults and did not bring children. We stayed at the Sawasadee Village which was wonderful, but our stay was less than a week. I believe we had to grab beers from the 7-11 for the beach. We noticed there were a lot of Russian tourists and all the menus were in Thai, Russian, and then English. Kata was fun, but now I want to try Kamala Beach! We also went during Songkran, but we were in Bangkok where a fire truck even joined in by lightly spraying the crowd. They also decorated elephants and sold baskets of vegetables so you could feed them. So much fun! Are they still smearing the cooling paste? I think there was menthol in the mix -- surprisingly refreshing!
Why didn’t you bring the children? Isn’t it suitable for children… what did you children do back home while no one babysit your children… they might get starving at home ?😢
We were in Phuket at the same time as you (and got very wet that day too). We mainly got around by scooter but also used Bolt (like Grab but half the price).
People have told us about Bolt in the past but we've never used it. We should probably try it sometime. We should think about learning how to use a scooter as well!! 🤣 thanks for watching and commenting Mr T! Cheers 🍻
By the way, we loved the video and agreed with you about Kamala. We ate and drank at the beachfront restaurants a couple of times. We stayed in Kata and at Thavorn Village in between Patong and Kamala and loved both places. We also did a few days in Koh Samui. Back home in Australia now.
Hi Brian & Carrie Thanks for the advice We’re touring Thailand and both of a similar age to you Great recommendations, especially the Wasi Sabi at Kamala Beach….. amazing value and executive rooms a steal at £35 a night In Phi Phi now but off to Fisherman’s Wharf Koh Samui tomorrow Thanks once again Steve & Louise

You missed the best part of Karon, I have stayed in Phuket countless times and now go straight to Karon.
Cheers!!🍻
Thanks for the advice! This is the first video from you I've come across and will be checking out the others 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for watching!!
Cheers!!🍻
Thank you so much for this amazing video. We will be traveling to Phuket next year. I will use your RUclips as a guide.
May I ask about the bus…
Can you buy a pass for the whole day?
Thanks ❤
We don't think there was a day pass, but the cost is minimal and easy to use so don't believe that it is necessary. Thank you for watching and happy travels!!! ❤️
@@BrianandCarriethank you for responding so quickly ❤
😁
You have Ska bar in the southern end of Kata beach and one more restaurant I dont remeber the name of. You can get beer there. We stayed at Beyond Kata beach resort close to Ska bar we ate lunch at Ska bar. Beyond Kata is a good resort, but not cheep resort. Next year 2025 we will stay at Bangtao beach at Best Western Bangtao. Earlier we have stayed at Arinara resort Bangtao. Thanks for good videos! Conny & Eva Sweden.
Thank you for the tips, Conny and Eva!! 😊❤️ Safe travels in 2025!!
Thanks for the great blog guys very informative
I'd already chosen kamala beach as my place to stay when I visit in Sept so was really interested but what made the video even more special was your accommodation its the place I've booked so that's an added bonus I can't wait and I'll now subscribe to you guys thanks.
That's so awesome!! We LOVED that hotel, great choice. Enjoy your travels 😊
Totally agree ! Magic sunsets from top of the hill ,and the Ska bar is legendary !
Is this phuket good for kids ? or this is adult place ????
Thanks guys! Ive been looking at wabi sabi and you have made up my mind. Im staying there for my last night in phuket. I'll have to watch some more of your videos.
Wabi Sabi is the best!! 😃 Thank you for watching our channel and safe travels!!
Cheers!!🍻
You can't find things on the beach because of the tsunami. for safety reasons they couldn't build in the beach, which I think it's amazing not just for safety reasons but it keeps the beach clean from noisy bars. And why would you need markets or bars in the beach? I personally love the separation.
This is a great video thanks. I had spent hours researching the best area to suit my needs. Decided on Kamala and I’ve booked the Gram Habitat. Thanks guys. 😊
Thank you for watching and safe travels!! 😊

Great review....Thanks to you guys we booked at Kamala
You will have a great time, James. Safe Travels and thank you for watching!
You guys missed Kata Noi beach ,it’s a smaller beach than Kata but more peaceful, if you want to take a sunbath in peace ,that’s a good one to choose ❤
Great to know - next time for sure 😊
RaWai in the south of Phuket is definitely my pick, it has everything you need for a short or long vacation 😊. You guys don’t rent a motorbike? Your choice but you will miss a lot!
Neither of us have any experience on motor bikes so it's really not by choice. We do miss out on the more difficult places to reach by using public transportation. Thank you for watching and adding to the channel!!😀
Cheers 🍻
Going to phulet for Christmas/New Years. Found ur channel and LOVE IT! You two are so cool... thanks!
Thank you, Peter! Enjoy your trip and safe travels!
so glad i watched this before booking my Thailand vacation next month! thank you so much for these recommendations

Fantastic video, I’m heading to Phuket for a couple of months even though I’m youngish haha I don’t wanna party every night, but I would like a beach at a reasonable price and street food. I love the bus 🚌 advice too. Have you been to Mai Khao?
Thank you ❤️. No we haven't been there. Enjoy your trip to Phuket.
Great video; thank you, guys!!! Planning my trip this month for 2 weeks with a big family, most probably will rent a villa
Is this phuket good for kids ? or this is adult place ????
I came down from BKK to Kata beach on the public bus and there’s no way I’d walk to Karon beach in the heat 😅. You guys are brave (um…crazy) to do that. Thank you 🙏 though for this video. I’m here in Kata and recognize some of the places u you showed 😊 👍!
Thank you for watching!!
Cheers!
Hey, thanks for your advice. I just spent 2 weeks at the Wabi Sabi Hotel at Kamala based on your recommendation. Great choice.
Thats a great spot! We really thought that the Wabi Sabi was a great value! Really glad that you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Cheers!!
Great video! Kamala sounds great for us too. Were you there in April? We're wondering if the Kamala area would be too crowded in February?
Thank you for adding this, Phillip! So many great options depending on what you are looking for. We appreciate the support!
Cheers!🍻
I really look forward to Saturdays and getting one of your new videos!
I truly laughed out loud about not sharing the snacks! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
That New Year’s celebration looked like so much fun! 💦💦💦
What a gorgeous place you’re staying at!
Thank you for watching and commenting! We really appreciate the support!
Cheers 🍻
awesome review guys - great to get an unbiased perspective. After watching i think Karon beach is for me, but appreciate your choice and content. Keep up the good work
Thank you for watching, Mariah! ❤

This is exactly the kind of information I was looking for prior to my visit next week. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for watching and have a fantastic time!! Safe travels!

@@BrianandCarrie Cheers. Gonna take the air conditioning bus now instead of hiring a moped. 😀🍻
HAHA!! Great idea! 🍻
My wife and I, will be going to Phuket in 3 weeks from now. Any advice on, on a good scuba-diving place in Phuket? Thx
Sorry, we unfortunately don't scuba dive and never looked into any.
@@BrianandCarrie . The information you gave, was more then enough! I appreciate it. Have a great day!!
Cheers!!🍻
Good tip on Smart bus. Enjoyed your video. Thanks
So happy you found it helpful.. Thanks so much for watching 😊

Hi we are planning to go November as we want to start in Bangkok car it to Phukett before flying to Bali.
Your vlog has really helped us. Thank you 😊 What month did you go in? We are looking at November Thanks again for a great vlog... 😊
We were in Phuket in April. November may be better, it's was incredibility hot and humid when we were there. Cheers!!
@@BrianandCarrie aww fab. Yes we are going in November but I like the heat!
Absolutely perfect video. Thank you two so much! This is exactly what I needed. Awesome.

Hi, love your video, very informative. We are looking at a beach with restaurants and beach bars so we an just sit and relax for a while. I understand Kamala is nice, but Did you make it to Surin or Bang Tao?
That's what we love as well, Kamala checked all those boxes for us. But, unfortunately, we did not make it to those other beaches you mentioned.
I agree! I have been to all the beaches but we love Kamala. Of course we went during Covid and had the beaches to ourselves. It was a shock to see how many chairs were lined up on the beach. But we loved all the restaurants on the beach in Kamala. We spent 2 weeks there in 2021.
sure has change since 5 yrs ago i must say tks for the vide ok
Thank you for watching!!
Take your advise about wabi sabi hotel, just booked for my family August visit to Phuket. Dankeschön, Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪.
You won't regret it booking the Wabi Sabi or Kamala Beach! Thank you for watching and safe travels!

Thank you for this outstanding video. I was in Koh Samui and Phuket in the 70’s and 80’s. Some changes. Enjoyed every minute.

Thanks for doing the video. You folks are really good
Thank you so much!! 😊
Wonderful information. Will certainly help many plan a great trip. Well done.
Thank you for watching, Joseph!
Kata noi with the resort right on the beach is our favorite!! Still cheap compared to some! I love having a 7-11 nearby too.
Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you. I am happy to serve you at the bar ...
Thank you!!
Cheers!!🍻
Which is better - Koh Samui or Phuket?
Looks like Koh Samui might be the winner?
It's funny that you should ask!! We have a few requests for doing a video on just that topic. That video will be out in two weeks! 😀
Cheers!!
@@DG-wo8fx Excellent insight, very grateful.

Hey Guys. Really enjoyed the Thailand and Vietnam videos. Heading there in January for 3 months. Lots of helpful information. Safe travels!

Kamala is definitely one of my favourite beaches. Patong is a big favourite of my husband’s but for me it gets to loud and busy, but I suppose different strokes for different folks!
Very true. We like to have a little action but not too much. For us, Patong is just too much. Thank you for watching and commenting, Soria.
Cheers!!🍻
Ahh man, such a shame you didnt find the SKA reggae bar at the left end of Kata beach. An amazing place for a beer.
Dang, it!! That's the problem only having a few days and public transportation as your only source of transportation. We tend to miss some of the cool places we know we would have enjoyed. Thank you for adding the comment, Kevin, someone will read this and know of a good place in Kata Beach!!
Cheers!!🍻
Hi guys you may want to try Bolt for transportation its way cheaper than Grab...Great content keep them coming
We have heard of Bolt but have not used it. We will give it a try!! Thank you!!
Cheers!!🍻
We tried both Bolt and Grab. However, after waiting an hour for the Bolt driver to try and locate our hotel, before abandoning the pick up, we switched to Grab and got our ride. While it may have been just an isolated incident, it was enough to turn us off from using Bolt.
@@rjbpow Ive never had any trouble with bolt but it happens

Thank you, Sue. We loved Kamala Beach!! And thank you for watching!
Cheers!!🍻

Some beaches on Phuket are restricted from vendors on the beach. Kata is one of those.
Good to know! Thank you for adding this to the channel!! 👍

Great video, you two are having way too much fun! Is the local beer hoppy Brian?
Hey, Dan. We are having fun and the beer is cold so that will have to be good enough for now! 🙂
Hi Angela. Yes, they are still smearing cooling paste! Songkran is a crazy good time!!
Why didn’t you bring the children? Isn’t it suitable for children… what did you children do back home while no one babysit your children… they might get starving at home ?😢
Our children are in their 20's and 30's. Grown adults.
I‘m from Germany and I’m concerned about your beer consumption 😂
If I was still in Germany, you would be even more concerned! 😂
Thank you for your video, but appreciated and very informative
