A gross miscarriage of justice for the victims and their loved ones. This specimen kills two people and gets 20yrs? I hope someone is appealing this sentencing. Such an insult.

These laws need to change. If you drive drunk and kill someone, it should be life in prison and no parole. I've watched many videos from NM and it's all about drunk driving. I think they need to revamp their laws about this.
So so sorry that u lost your brother, especially in that manner. I am so angry at that judge for the "punishment" that he gave to the person who killed him & than for what he said. With these cases I wonder what the judge would think if their loved one was killed & "punished" the same way.
Our laws, punishments and procedures for drunk driving need to drastically change in this country. It’s mind blowing that we pretty much just accept this happening on a daily basis. We are all so distracted by BS.

This is why I don’t drive late nights anymore.
For me, this is one of the reasons why i don't be out anywhere at night.
Unfortunately it happens during the day as well.
Or holidays
facts
@@vickiwatson1801 true I just try to do it when it’s less likely people are drinking and I live in the Caribbean’s so that’s really hard to determine
Crazy how the drunk drivers always survive
The human body is less likely to be injured if you don't tense up during an accident. I've been hit twice by a car at a high speed. Both times I was completely relaxed because I didn't see it coming. Both times, only a stiff neck for about a day.
Damn glad you're ok, had a car blip through a stop sign and near miss me by 20 feet, must've been going 100 mph plus
A gross miscarriage of justice for the victims and their loved ones. This specimen kills two people and gets 20yrs?
I hope someone is appealing this sentencing. Such an insult.
He got 15, it was reduced.
20 yrs is disgraceful, and an injustice to the poor souls who's lives he stole! We must do better with DUI drivers. Prayers for all the victims 🙏
People who get behind their wheel drunk, immediately become a bad human being - they are deciding to risk everything. Risk taking life. Lowest of humanity.
Alcohol distorts the thinking part of the brain. Doesn't make them bad people.
That’s a ROUGH 33 years old
Yes.
Booze, cigarettes, a cruel streak.
I'm surprised he didn't just get probation.
Should have gotten at least 40 years
you misspelled lethal injection
He should’ve been sentenced 70 years.
19 years with 4 suspended. So he only got 15 years. Justice was not served. I pray for the families who lost their loved ones.
WTF two lives gone and he still gets a chance to live a life. Disgusting system.
If im 1st in line and the light turns green i wait 5-6 seconds b4 entering the intersection im soo scared to be involved in a car accident! RIP to the lives lost
I bet the drivers behind you just love that.
This guy killed someone and is gripping about how the people are treating him?? Omg what a loser hope he gets serious prison time!!!! Rip to the victims family 😢
What's really heartbreaking is the fact this happened mere days before Christmas for most families and its never going to be the same for the victims and the family of the drunk driver.
DUI's/DWI's punishments aren't harsh enough. My aunt & i were hit by a drunk driver running a red light. No license, no insurance, drunk & he was a violent SO wanted out of Nebraska. The dr said i could have been killed
My girls dad was torn in half against a tree right outside the family home when she was 12 and Ive seen 1st hand how the selfish actions of a scumbag drunk driver echoes through generations of a family for decades having impacts on the lives of family members who never even got to know the poor guy even ..
I'm so sorry 😢
😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏
WHY do they ALWAYS survive??? What a cosmic joke!!
Bc their bodies don’t react to impact bc they’re under the influence. When you’re sober, your body tenses up during an accident
@@parallelsmika8130does that make sense though? Body trauma is body trauma.
I wonder if speed differential of vehicles is a factor
Dont drink and drive folks!
If you don't drink it takes care of the driving part also ..
Nearly two decades is not justice
15..the rest on probation ...even worse
Isn't it precious when the bad guy hates all the cops but one? " don't talk to me, don't touch me, stop looking at me, you hurt my little feelings, I want my mama."
Omg! The way she says “nearly two decades…” like it’s a long time for what he did… what an injustice.
there is no way a dude like that is gonna make it through all that time without catching more charges and time inside
He FOREVER CHANGED RHE COURSE OF THAT INNOCENT BABIES LIFE ; as even things like Christmas will be difficult for her 💔
Yeah but the cop looked at him mean though... 🤦
What a disgusting scumbag.
That poor baby.
Life must be cheap wherever this happened. 15 year sentence. Might do 7.
Innocent people killed .😢😢😢 this is so sad! This man should have no bail.
15 years for killing TWO people and critically injuring another? That's RIDICULOUS!
Why would anyone drive THAT drunk??!! What a POS. And if you look at the time, this happened just after 8pm. 😢
It's absolutely crazy how every drunk driver that cause an accident that kills innocent people in the other vehicle, all these drink drivers walk away without a scratch on them
Judges should be held accountable if the person they sentence gets out and reoffends..especially the same type of crime..maybe then they will actually do their job and protect the public
The announcer said he “got NEARLY two decades”. THAT’S NOT EVEN 20 YEARS!!! That alone is criminal!
15 years for killing innocent people and possibly leaving a baby without a mother or grandmother?
He's wearing that shirt, because he's a horrible dad. If you have to wear a shirt saying how great of a dad you are, then you probably ain't.
Alcohol is one of the most toxic drugs .
Disagree
@@chrisbryz1652I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but I am curious what you would consider worse?
@@chrisbryz1652 Disagree all you want. Alcohol is one of the worst drugs for you and not even one of the most fun
It is not a drug. It is poison. Its carcinogenic neurotoxin full of estrogen.
Source?
They really focused on that 5'4 mugshot listing
5'4'' and a HALF
@toericabaker you're being generous 😂
These laws need to change. If you drive drunk and kill someone, it should be life in prison and no parole. I've watched many videos from NM and it's all about drunk driving. I think they need to revamp their laws about this.
I guess its true when they say the driver always lives
That's because when you're loaded you are more relaxed.
@susanengel-ix8bl true, whereas when you're sober and alert you tense up
Not always but statistically they do because they are more limber/relaxed at the time of impact
Two victims deceased and one seriously injured and all this drunk driver gets is 19 years 😮Ridiculous😢
I hate him,for what he did,and for not caring about what he did.
Prayers for the families, and for the caring witnesses and responders. So tragic.
Wow, 15 years, that is pathetic.
This is why I don't like to drive.
I agree
He wants to go home. Poor baby. What a disgrace.
Could he not see over the dash being 5'4"?
And this happened three days before Christmas! So very sad, I'm so sorry to the families. RIP
The drunk driver always lives while taking lives in the process smh
Please no more "dude" or "bro"........these cops are way too nice and polite !!!!!!!!
Capital punishment is sorely missing here.
I was afraid to make that comment because the last time I did my comment was removed. I agree 100%
When drunk people run away from scene of accident they absolutely have full knowledge that they did wrong! Or they wouldn't run! What a POS guy!
So so sorry that u lost your brother, especially in that manner. I am so angry at that judge for the "punishment" that he gave to the person who killed him & than for what he said. With these cases I wonder what the judge would think if their loved one was killed & "punished" the same way.
Drunk drivers 🤦♂️🤦♂️ there’s never an excuse for it
15 years? That’s a slap on the wrist!!! wtf
That's gonna be a rough 15 years for a 5 foot 4 inch tough guy.........
😂😂😂😂
That will look great on you in court. You killed one person for sure at this point, and you are concerned about how people are looking at you.
I feel so sorry for not only the family but also the witnesses that where traumatized by seeing such devastation
The US should not issue drivers licenses to people who commit DUIs. 20 year revocation would be fair.
They will drive anyway . Have to get to the liquor store
@@traceyrhodes9455 or civil asset forefeiture any vehicles registered to them
Unfortunately, they will still get behind the wheel.
Our laws, punishments and procedures for drunk driving need to drastically change in this country. It’s mind blowing that we pretty much just accept this happening on a daily basis. We are all so distracted by BS.
