I love that Melina kept saying that it’s all about who can tell a story that makes them a great wrestler. There’s so many female superstars from the divas era that weren’t technically advanced but their storytelling was top notch and drew in a lot of young fans like myself. Women like Melina, Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, Maryse, Eve, Michelle, Layla, Beth, Nattie, they sold their stories even when given 2 minutes of screen time. All legends of you ask me.

Melina actually inspired me to get into Taekwondo so i can learn how to split i have 3rd Dan black belt and can split perfectly thanks to her for inspiring me.

When Melina came out at Royal Rumble 22. I screamed so loud. I love her work. The matches with her and Michelle are some of the underrated matches ever.
Not gonna lie I didn’t like Melina’s in ring persona but of course it was just a persona (she was so good at playing her character) and it wasn’t real and seeing this interview made me realise just how underrated, adorable and funny she is, she is an icon and deserves her due, WWE needs to recognise her in the WWE hall of fame, she was a great heel.

Melina, Layla, Jazz, Gail Kim, Mickie James, Victoria/Tara, and Alicia Fox/Vix Crow were always my favourite female wrestlers. Trish, Lita, Michelle, Beth and Chyna get all the credit from most fans but for me those were my girls.

A lot of y’all throw the words “legend and iconic” loosely these days but Melina was truly that! She was always one of my favorite divas and was so underrated. I mean she’s a 5X champ! Back then not that many women won that many titles. And she was a great heel.
Her talking about storytelling really makes sense because as a kid I really thought she is just a valet that does not know how to wrestle, I stopped watching wrestling for some years and when I return watching I was surprise how good she. She's one of the wrestlers that carried the diva's era.

I met her back at wrestle con in Santa Clara when WrestleMania was at the new Levi stadium she was so humble genuine speaking with me even got a nice pic with her as she posed with my diva's belt love her can't wait to see what she does after her break from wrestling. Got to meet her a couple times over the last couple years at MCW events. She’s so so kind and sweet. Amazing hugger too. She actually got to say meet my Mom’s service doggo Nike and he let her pet him. ❤ I always will be thankful to have met her.

Her talking about storytelling really makes sense because as a kid I really thought she is just a valet that does not know how to wrestle, I stopped watching wrestling for some years and when I return watching I was surprise how good she. She's one of the wrestlers that carried the diva's era.
