For the record, foodoo in wmsbg is not open 24h, and as far as i know there's no grocery in wmsbg that's open around the clock

Check out their prices on lemons and oranges. Best quality, cheapest prices.
100% it’s the customer that allows price gouging.

Good points brought up that were already known but never said by someone from the industry in public (he has no motive to make it up).
1) A large chunk of the people who are for the most part at fault for demanding high end groceries and artisanal foods, are the ones complaining about the price hikes (they probably don't realize it themselves.
2) 90+% of the people are suffering from rising prices and expensive trends because of the 10% of people who cannot afford it but are setting the trend and standardizing it (not including people who actually do have money and are free to do as they wish with there own money).
