Honestly, in my opinion, Eugene is the best bassist in metal right now. Those riffs are both technical and catchy as hell. This band, while they like being technical, clearly care about songwriting very much. Great stuff.

He splits the signal, so the string tension emphasizes the rattle, and the lower note harmonics go to a subwoofer chain for the beastly rumble. his control of how hard he attacks the string is the real gem, because when he plays light on a light string it sounds very classical, but when he bears into a looser string, it gives it a sharper attack for the aggressive parts.

Dude since I started listening to jinjer they stood out but I've really come to aprecitate the technical side of there playing especially Eugene not your run of the mill bass player defenetly knows his stuff

Eugene is a beast! My favorite bass player these days. Jinjer has become a band i have sooo much respect for! The vocals ofc.. but Vlad and hes super tasty drumfills. Roman with hes guitar skills is insane! And i love the fact that they dont «leave» the bass player hanging in the back.. But why would they do that when they have a extremely skilled one🤷♀️ this is killer!
