@@Geno_mann have to hope they stay healthy. That's why Cam fell so far in the draft and Thompson can't shoot. KJ played all 82 games last season. Think that move was rushed. Would've been easy to keep him just in case

We can't ignore the fact that the Rockets traded KJ Martin for nothing just to sign Dillon Brooks for nearly 90 million dollars. Look at all these assists Sengun has to Martin that Brooks wouldn't be able to finish
Cam Whitmore should be able to do most of what KJ did on offense
Signing Dillon is a huge mistake but not because of KJM but because of Tari's minutes. Tari is the guy next to Sengun. Worse finishing at rim than KJM but better in every other aspects.
KJ’s too one dimensional, he improved his 3 point shooting but he’s honestly just an athletic highlight reel who’ll occasionally get a huge block. The Rockets will do fine since Green, KPJ, Eason and now Thompson and Whitmore are athletic freaks in their own right.
Also I fell Dillion Brooks low FG% is lacking a lot of context. The Grizzlies had many injuries and off the court issues between Ja, JJJ, Bane, Adams, and Clarke. Brooks was actually the only starter on Memphis to play at least 70 games last season, so someone had to take the shots and be assertive in the absence of those guys
@@htownborn92 that's a crazy take lol. Brooks bad shooting is a result of bad shot selection. Had nothing to do with injuries. That's who he's always been. He wants to be the guy. And how is he also not 1 dimensional? Can't pass, inefficient scorer, bad rebounder but solid defender. The point is you paid Brooks 90 million dollars instead of teaching KJ to do the same thing for half that money
@@htownborn92 Brooks has never shot better than 44% from the field in his career. Shows you really don't know about the dude. And KJ was playing small ball center at times shooting over 50% from the field and defensive box plus minus was -1.3. Brooks was -0.5. Now you're hoping younger guys come in more ready than KJ was, don't get hurt, and play better. Not a necessary move to make.

FYI folks, he was 6'9 last season and he grew to be 6'11 barefoot in the summer. We are talking about a 7 feet with shoes center-playmaker who is super flexible and light-footed..

If you look at our team we rebuilt the whole roster. Also, we were purposely tanking. The GM was making coach Silas do things that were not leading to wins. We were basically playing pick up ball out there. Coach Udoka will install a team ball system based on passing and defense.
Hopefully they take a look at Denver’s offense and give Sengun more creative opportunities

Can't wait to see all the Rockets draft picks like Sengun, Green, Smith Jr, Eason, Thompson & Whitmore to all grow together into a Championship Juggernaut!
Plus they still have all Brooklyn's 1st rd picks until 2028 and Brooklyn is a joke now, no more Durant, Harden or Kyrie. In replacement they got Ben Simmons, so at least one or more of those four 1st rd picks will end up a lottery pick, maybe even a top 5 pick to add to this already sick Rockets draft built roster. Remember GSW built a championship team in the draft with only 3 all-stars, Rockets drafted six 1st rd studs over the last 3 drafts, they had a total 9 picks in the 1st rd and found 6 absolute all-star potential players. So when it comes time to pay all these 6 young players their 2nd contract, the fact that they have all of BKN's picks too means they can reload with high draft talent, meaning they can choose to resign a player to his 2nd contract OR move on and replace with a player from the BKN draft selection like a possible top 5 pick. I mean the Rockets look bright, they are definitely lighting the fuse!
