This totally accurate battle simulator gameplay will be another series of historical tabs battles in which I faithfully recreate the war of 1812.. a rather unimaginative name to say the least. The second war of american indpendance, the second american revolutionary war and so many more all sound more fitting!
To recreate these tabs battles, I have used the new tabs update which introduced the new tabs unit creator update. Using this tabs new update I managed to download some tabs mods and tabs mod packs, which gives me new tabs units and new tabs factions for both the british empire and the united states. I then pieced these tabs battles together to make a tabs campaign for the war of 1812.
Unfortunately I still dont have new tabs maps, as whist we got the unit creator update, there has been now new tabs map update, which is sad as I was hoping for new maps or a tabs map creator, something to really spice up my tabs gameplay a bit and liven up this epic battle simulator. Although I cant complain too much as we did get some tabs multiplayer gamemodes which beats the tabs sandbox gamemode from time to time. And on top of that tabs steam and tabs epic games users get to use the new tabs multiplayer update and the new tabs unit creator update.. but if you're a tabs xbox one player or just have xbox tabs game, then you are still in beta, have no full release and it's a big old rip for you.

The attack on Fort York is an intresting battle, In 2019 I visited it and saw that most of the fort was practically rebuilt completely. During the battle, most of the defenders were canadian millitia. They fought hard but when they saw that the americans were more powerful, they set off the magazine of the entire fort killing 200 americans and their commander and the entire fort.
Alright I didn't know that bit, really interesting though!!! Love learning new stuff

I actually went to Queenston Heights and visited the artillery positions, the area where a failed charge that General Brock himself led and the memorial of General Brock. I had a small wooden Musket carbine that I aimed around to try and understand what the average soldier would see.
That's epic, always feels weird when you're at battlesites as you know how many bodies were dropping all round where you were standing, but where you stand it seems so peaceful

You're right, technically I am British, but I would definitely say Scottish first and British second
American soldiers were terrified of first nation warriors, which is why british and canadian troops often used that to their advantage. Making an entire fort surrender, because the american commander didnt want a massacre like in the battle in 0:58 .
Yeah seems horrible but a good tactic, they didn't have the same rules of combat that we used I guess
The reason the British won the last battle was bcs there troops were professional hence proved that quantity doesn’t have a quality on its own

Loved the video @Plastic Scott! I get the feeling that the American Civil War and the Japanese Satsuma Rebellion will be up next for the Channel! The Battle of Shiroyama was the very last battle of the latter as that ended the Satsuma Rebellion with Saigo's death! I typed the last part of Sabaton's song of the same name (Shiroyama) in the first video of yours that I saw.
It's definitely going to have to be high on my list as I don't do enough from the east!

@@PlasticScot so at Aspern-Essling archduke charles managed to defeat Napoleon at a river crossing, bz sabotaging the french bridges and not letting many of the french get through and whats remained was defeated by austrian grenadiers and curassiers, even Napoleon's best friend, Jean Lannes died by an austrian cannonbal in the last hours of the battle, and the battle of wagram was the biggest and bloodiest battle europe yet has seen at the time, the french built solide bridges to make sure the disaster at aspern could not repeat, and it was a complete bloodbath, over 90.000 men died 34.000 french casualities and 40.000 austrian casualities, the battle ended with the SCOTISh marshalls charge, McDonald and Charles had to retreat since he's lines where at breaking point, but he just lost another mashall, marshall Beseirs when he was leading a cav charge againt austrian line infantry, but the biggest bloodbqth during the battle was when the french assaulted the austrian artyllery positions, the austrians fought valiantly qnd did all what they could, but finally they lost, the austrians where defeated once again at zleim ending the war of the 5th coalition

I have an idea for the defense of Washington: Have cannons on stationary on the rooftops. Make sure they are in buildings not too low that the British can shoot them, but not too far that they can't shoot. Also, make them fire bombs. Then on the stairs, have as much soldiers on the top of the stairs, because the high ground is best. Also, have some cheerleaders give them emotional support so that they can fire faster. Also make them stationary. The Destruction of Native American tribes, My idea: Now the Native Americans are harder to beat then the British. My idea is, don't have a man so close to another man, because its hard for an 1812 soldier to kill a Native American at a close range. And put them in a pattern that they will fire like a machine gun. Tear through the melee guys, then slay all the ranged units.
Hmmm I don't like putting things like cheerleaders in historical battles because it ruins my immersion a bit tbh. Other than that your ideas sound great, you should give it a try and let me know how well it works!
