Worth noting, you can also apply flame to an enemy while your buffed with the elemental plague, use the set martial art on the jade staff, it shoots fire balls at range and 2 of them on average should be enough with elemental plague to burn them
If you inflict them with lightning they passively lose spirit. Because earth lowers lightning resistance, it should be easier to inflict + you have so much invested into wood. You should try all 3, start with water which lowers stone resist, then stone, then lightning.
You can really only run 2 elements if you want to be able to apply them and do good damage with them, stone first then lightning is better than this for sure I’ve tested all the elements and I do hundreds of damage with one hit
@@shanekirkpatrick9941 not really, I'm able to use 3 elements, i just put one thunder accumulated in the legs and in the weapon o put thunder attack, so I can able to stuck 3 elements in the enemy
@@VictorWeismann exactly, that is the best way - to use lightning / stone or other enchant and on one piece accumulation . You can also use "Melee Attack Spirit Damage" special effect instead of two different elements and save points instead of investing into two or three different elements. That's what I run I have it on 3 different armor pieces and it works great.
I got a cao cao set with lightning enchanted. Add some shock accumulation alongside spirit damage on martial arts for the weapon bonus, and you're good to go.
I also made a deflect/spirit damage build. It's not the strongest thing in the game, but it's just a lot of fun. I really want a Stone or Lightning enchant but they are so rare. I've played 60 hours and farmed a lot of NG+ and still haven't seen either of them.
@@Swzyy.y They are so rare, also don't have an Ice one. Funnily enough, I just got a Lightning one after typing this comment haha! It took me 60 hours of playing though.

If you wanna melt enemies guard/spirit, use Guding Blade and put Martial Arts Spirit Damage to your gears. Use Overpower Burst buff then Thunderous Impact, rinse and repeat. So it's kinda boring in the long run but that's how it is to be OP.
By all means. Use whichever element you prefer ,as long as you’re stacking the right special effects on your gears. You can also go with fire and poison for a nice DoT build
You're doing it wrong. It would be much more efficient to use lightning magic because the lightning debuff helps with spirit damage, chill effect doesn't. You also have A+ scaling in lightning vs A- in water. Calling it the best spirit damage build is far from true. I already know 3 of them better than this : The lightning one I mentionned (the least interesting), the guda blade build (fire) and the status effect build (poison+lightning) that does spirit damage on its own. The last 2 take advantage of the genius strategist set which is the best for spirit damage, not the one in this video. Interesting take nonetheless, trying to do something different.
Well, chill is there mainly for reducing the stone resistance and heaviness is the best status ailment for spirit damage build. The extra stuff is just the cherry on top I would’ve definitely added lightning as well if I could, without losing out on either stone/ice attack power or accumulation on my gears as without those, the buildup is gonna be slow and it beats what I’m trying to get out of this build Doesn’t the guda blade build rely heavily on the martial art move? And it also scales mainly with fire and doesn’t scale at all with wood? So I need to make compromises with whether I want more hp or more damage. Also I’ve had a fair share of getting one/two shot by enemies in NG+ while doing my martial arts move because they randomly activated hyper armor bs And I just checked the genius strategist set on fextra as I don’t believe I have it. The 6 piece bonus is damage (not spirit damage) dealt to enemies with negatives status effects increased by 10%.6%. Not sure why I would want that But thanks for the build ideas. Might actually try those builds someday
@Sionic the main reason people recommend that set early in first playthrough is the power drop , I use the guiding blade in ng+ alot but I put power drop on my weapon I use cao caos set atm for the spirit vulnerability but some of the graces are looking even better for spirit breaking problem is good luck farming them lol I've found 3 separate graces I'm interested in but don't have more than 3 pieces
@@sionicNS only thing I would add to the discussion is objectivity everyone agrees right now spirit breaking and fatal strikes are the meta for complete run through anyway but what if you hate martial arts skills or curved sabers well then guiding blade is trash what if you hate staves then your build is trash. Sorry bro the best build in game is Guding Blade 🔪 spirit build. It's factually the fastest spirit breaking build in the game and its literally everywhere on RUclips. Pwar and every other RUclipsr has made a vid on it. It breaks spirit the fastest while applying status and you can use metal phase spell which deals damage based on debuff and you can deal 2000+ dmg after a grapple.

Thanks for explaining the stone enchantment, I was wondering if it stacked or just got overridden. That makes more sense now, nice job.
I would like people demo their build against the 3 man boss in part 4.
That fight o had to keep them in the murky water for the slow debuff
Now that’s not very nice of you

Fun fact I got more 5stars the my mate and he was doing full luck build and all I had was equipment drop rate A- and 26 luck
The equipment drop rate A- is why. That shit is way better than luck
Ong your a great builder.... but I will say most can't do this thong. Why isn't these channel have 1,000,000 subascriptions
With poleaxe or hammer , it needs a martial art for charging to build status quicker
Spirit Damage build using Martial Arts seems the way to go. Stack stone damage I guess then just play pogo with Plummeting Ape.
Her gear doesn't just drop there I've had it drop in other missions. But that is the fastest way to farm it.
Heavy also increases spirit damage
Why would we read when we can have people like you do it for us?

Everyone love say "best build' huh but in fact the build are not strong
So let me get this straight, in order to get the 5 star gear for hero's you have to farm it?
Yes. In NG+
What’s the difference between 4 and 5 star gear
@George Knight about 10-15% I believe it's not huge but it's enough that it's nice to have
Their are also graces though so you'll see set bonuses on different gear like all new sets besides what the followers give you
@@robertsnead2319 are you sure it increases damage? I thought 4 and 5 star gear only gave you more embedment slots that was all
How you get 5 star ?
NG+
There's better spirit dmg builds out there that don't deal with squishy light armor specially in NG+
