- This is a compilation of citrine crystal videos from the last six years of the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil shows. Most of the citrine sold at the gem show is heat treated Amythest crystals. Natural citrine is usually more of a pale-yellow shade. Heat treating brings out the deep reddish orange colors of the crystals.

January 27-February 11 or February 8 - February 11?
The Tucson Convention Center show Is what they call the "main show" and that is during the last days of the whole show, Feb. 8 to 11th. This convention center show highlights the best cabinet specimens mainly. Is all these lab grow crystal?
No, they are real amethyst crystals that have been heat treated to get the orange/gold colors to become citrine. A few may be real citrine crystals but the majority you see at the gem show have been heat treated.
