Excellent!! Thank you for taking the request to have Sovietborgs mentioned onto your channel Mike. Retro Sumus will be glad to see this from you and for you to help with additional exposure to the game. Always a pleasure to listen in on what you have to say brother man. 8^) Anthony..
I was thinking about its similarities to The Chaos Engine as you mentioned it. The game has tons of potential, and it's great to hear some valid constructive criticism in a video. Nice work Mike!
I like how the spawn points pop up. It's a little like Gauntlet. The game should probably give you a charged shot on a timer. I agree with what you said about the environment. The environment doesn't look like it could have been an actual city. When I think of Soviet architecture I think of the old tenement buildings.
That's because they're not moving around their own territory but "pacifying" remaining pockets of resistence in other countries. The USSR is one of the few "safe" places left on Earth, so this stage could be the ruins of an old factory in England, Spain or France, or wherever. We haven't decided all the locatons yet :) Carlos Retro Sumus team
Some nice potential here. I agree there needs to be a bit more variety in the environments. It would also be great if there were characters you could rescue who would join you if you've lost one of your team members. A melee attack might also be good. Definitely worth keeping an eye on it.
With the enemy spawn points, I think this is more of a Gauntlet mixed with Chaos Engine/ Soldiers of Fortune (For us Yanks) Hopefully in the final version they increase the speed a bit.
I didn't think of Gauntlet, that's a good call. I liked the speed, with the spawn rate of the enemies it could make it harder. The animations could have more frames as well as the attack. But I think the guys have another year of development, so it's early days.
Giving the characters different abilities like Gauntlet would be a cool, could be fixed to whomever the lead character you control is. Power ups and upgrades could add extra depth. Definitely lots of potential with this game
looks like we did put mutant chickens into fashion! We first introduced them in 2015 in Life on Mars (8 bits MSX2 version) but they didn't catch real traction until the Genesis/Megadrive remake of Life on Mars 2 years ago, and we did introduce them again in "The Secret of the four Winds" demo from around 12 months ago.
@@RetroSumus I think if it was on Dreamcast I would expect it to take advantage of the hardware more. As it is the game looks like it could be ported to the Saturn but nothing more sophisticated than that.
Excellent game play footage! I like how the villains walk like zombie when they go diagonally towards you. The previous last Dreamcast game with MD port was FX Yuki, it’s awesome to see another one!

Anthony..
Thank you Anthony for bringing the game to my attention. It's very cool and I look forward to seeing what the team created.
👍🏾
The music is actually AWESOME in this one! Very interesting concept!
I would like to see the Dreamcast version. That could be really interesting.
Thank you! :)
Getting a lot of Chaos Engine (16 bit era) and Loaded (32 bit era) vibes from this game, and that is no bad thing.

I actually went and played Chaos Engine after this.
I agree I like how it’s similar to chaos engine
It looks nice! It was rendered really good.
All the rendering
Love the gameplay mechanics think this game has massive potential
Ooo, the animations are so smooth
We're planning on launching a KS campagin in a couple months. If things go well, that means Mega Drive, Dreamcast AND Neo Geo, probably others too.

Looks very interesting, will keep an eye on it
There's definitely something there, the gameplay is fun and if they can improve visuals and depth then they could have a cracker on their hands.

That's a cool idea.
First. Always wanted to do that!😅
😂😂 I'm not sure if that's an achievement or a punishment with my videos.
In Soviet Russia, games play you!
😂 I agree comrade.
Already very nice and promising! I fully agree when it comes to the visuals that need polish. Cheers!
I'm looking forward to what they do with this one.
Ooooo looks like Chaos Engine/Soldiers of Fortune. I can get on board with that!😮
It plays like it as well.
@RetroGamerBoy oh boy I'm super in!!!!
This looks lots of fun
I enjoyed myself😁
If everything moved 10% faster I think I'd like it a lot more, but it does look fun right now just the way it is 👍
It's actually quite fun, even at this early stage. A speed boost could help the action element.

МОЛОДЕЦ, ТОВАРИЩ! ПРИЕЗЖАЙ К НАМ В СССР!
😅👍

They keep coming
Yes they do.
Even the graphics look soviet!
They have nailed it then. Job done team, ship it 👍
Anyone else read this title as Soviet Bongs? 😁
In Soviet Russia, bong hits you!
Cannon Fodder?
Maybe the view point, but it plays completely different.
Vary cool
😁👍
Looks like it plays like Gauntlet too, just with mirrored co-op instead of multi player.
nice nice
It's a good start
Love your videos Mike . Keep them up they make my day !
Would you be able to tell me where the game clips from your intro are from, besides Sonic, what were the other games?
Full watch--but no further comment. 👍👍
Why so many dithering?
It's early in development
Looks like "chaos engine "
Exactly that. Not a bad game to draw influence from.
No Sega Saturn version!? _Outrageous!_
If the Kickstarter goes well, it is a possibility, in fact (no, really).
@ I was kidding but _oh hell yes_ that’s awesome 😂
Now this is more like it. A game that takes advantage of the hardware. Doesn't need to be on Dreamcast though.
But with the Dreamcast we won't have to stick to limited palettes and such :)
@@RetroSumus I think if it was on Dreamcast I would expect it to take advantage of the hardware more. As it is the game looks like it could be ported to the Saturn but nothing more sophisticated than that.
Good music
I hope for multi player

I did not know that thanks 🙏
Zombies ate yo Boags
Is some point this all has to stop I can't afford to keep buying new games for all my retro consoles
You don’t need to buy them
@ObsessiveGeek great you sound just like my wife
I know it's insane how many games there actually are.
@@ObsessiveGeek Come on of course he does! :D
