Disasters are causing chaos in Indonesia today! Building destroyed by strong winds in Sidoarjo, East Java.
Strong winds hit the Porong Market area, Sidoarjo, causing a number of tents belonging to street vendors to be damaged. At least five sub-districts were affected, namely Porong, Krian, Balongbendo, Sidoarjo and Waru sub-districts.
Strong winds caused trees to fall along the Porong Highway from Siring to Taman Apsari, Gedang and Pamotan areas. It is known that heavy rain accompanied by strong winds hit Sidoarjo and its surroundings. The rain fell at around 5:50 p.m., Saturday (2/8/2025).
