I love that Bee isnt just hot, but shes genuinley really nice!! She tried to help Loona feel included, she took her loss to Blitz like a champ, and she was actually concerned when he over did it and wanted to help. Shes just a hyper extrovert who loves to throw parties so people can have a great time!! And the fact that shes voiced by Kesha is just the cherry on top!! I absolutely ADORE her!!
I still feel like shes not to be trusted, she even said that she usaully steals belphadors party drugs and she also runs the hellhound adoption centres where loona got adopted from (atleast i think) and that place didnt really treat loona that nicely and by her own words shes “proud to be a jackass” and also she was sometimes flirtacious to alot of the hellhounds there even though she has boyfriend and she also aaid infront of tex that she thought satan was hot
Yeah I feel that really gluttony isn't as much of a sin as the bible makes it out to be and it's reflected in this character. Moderation is key but that doesn't mean you can't indulge and have a good time occasionally and she tries her best to make sure that everyone who indulges at her parties is having a genuinely good time. She does seem to use people's gluttony to her advantage to produce honey but out of all the seven deadly sins she is the most empathetic of the bunch.
I love that the Queen Bee girl isn't a villain. She's like legit worried, whether its for Blitzø or her party people or Loona, she is showing concern in my eyes. She isn’t even a "Omg, everyone loves me" person. She's just a "Lots of people like me, yeah, but I just hope they’re having fun" person.
Exactly. Kinda like with Asmodeus when Moxxie started singing his lovesong. He didn't straight up murder the imp or kick him out - he actually gave him a few pointers to be in vibe with the place and offered him a second chance.

@@astrobeth(long text, don’t read if you don’t want) what others seem to fail at recognizing is that Loona is a reclusive teen with a lot of emotional trauma and social issues. She’s getting defensive there because she’s more used to being judged and becoming defensive and aggressive at that is her go to response. This is her first party, and she even knew that something like this could happen which is why she tried to leave at first. The difference here is that she was just starting to enjoy herself for once when this happened, so she was also likely not pleased at the prospect of having to leave because the tables turned and now Blitz has to be taken home. Loona was in the wrong, but it’s not like any of this was out of character for her, and she backed down when she realized Tex was getting upset and did apologize.
When she was first introduced I really expected her to be the typical "mean girl" that was heavy fake nice, but she's just really cool. She's someone I'd actually trust with my drink.

I like the subtle aspects of insect from Beelzebub’s real life counterpart while still being mostly hellhound. Her design is a little much but that honestly fits her character. Also Tex literally dating the princess of gluttony is amazing😂

I bet that Bee learned how to be kind to others because she can taste people's vibes: sweetness all around makes her sweet. That's probably why she throws so many parties and why Loona's anger and bitterness made she act out so fast (like bitting on a really sour lime out of a sudden).
Well that and Bee was legit being super chill and friendly and Loona responds with...hostility and disrespect FOR A CAPITAL SIN...Bee still has a crown to defend...even if Bee doesnt LIKE being hostile or aggressive she still has a job as a capital sin to reign in and cease disrespect from other Demons etc etc etc regardless of whether she "likes" doing that or not.
I genuinely love Bee especially since she’s not the “typical mean girl”. I was expecting her to be another verosika but she seems genuinely nice and appears to have a good relationship with Tex as well as could be a good friend to Loona.

I honestly don't consider Verosika a "mean" girl Like the only thing she did that could be cobsidered mean was let her succubus friends have their way with Moxxie. Anything else could just be considered payback for Blitz basically robbing her before he dumped her
Vortex was such a huggable dork in this episode. It's a massive change in character focus, but it helps to flesh him out more as a person, especially when you consider the fact that he's supposed to be an imposing bodyguard for Verosika. Plus, he's always been kind to Loona and I'm glad that aspect stayed consistent in this episode, even if he didn't intervene when the two girls started to clash over Blitzo's overindulgence causing issues for the other partygoers.
I mean, loona spoke out of turn. She was literally mouthing off to demon royalty, and not just royalty, one of the 7 deadly sins. The third most powerful demon in abrahamic lore. She was jealous of her because she was already with vortex, and got real disrespectful when she told her in the nicest way possible that her dad was not ok, and was causing problems. She kinda deserved, and needed a quick check like that.

Absolutely enchanted by the way Bee changes size depending on context. When she's interacting with Vortex, she's shorter than him. When she's challenging Blitz, she's a good head taller than Vortex. And of course when she gets 'spicy' with Loona she becomes HUGE and then shrinks down again. It's a really good way of subtly showing her character; she *chooses* to be a non-threatening size most of the time, because she wants good vibes. But there's way more power than her appearance suggests.

@@PeaceGrrl Being larger let's her see over the crowd easier and tend to people's -needs- wants. It would be pragmatic and make sense for her to canonically be able to shift in size like that. She's more than powerful enough for it. Practically all demons of a certain power level are able to do it and Bee is one of the most powerful in the setting.
I think it's an angle/perspective thing, when she's challenging Blitz the angle looks like we're below looking up at them as if they were on a stage and Vortex looks a bit shorter than Bee since he's farther away from us. There are also some points where she may look taller but she's just flying, always thought it was an interesting how she's a wolf with wings tho
I do like beelzebub has more respect towards imp than asmodeus does as shown by her tipping her hat to bliz after bests her in the drink match and her not kicking them out of the party after bliz goes on a bender but tells loona she concerned about him

I like to think it in two ways. The enjoyment of good food is probably the most universal delight and sin, while being the most basic and fundamental in some sense. Explains why there are more hellhounds who are lower class specimens than say ozzie's club. Also her ability to "taste" people's vibes, and potentially even feed off from it, allows to her to be more attentive to people's emotion.
Oz is literally in love with an imp though, I wouldn't say he doesn't respect them. He's just aware of how society perceives them and uses that to fuck with people.
Asmodeus didn't have anything against imps. Most of the people who use his restaurant are imps after all. He only showed antagonism towards Moxxie because he was singing about love in a place designed only for lust

I find it funny how the goetia are so classist, making their game of thrones as nobility. But the princes of hell that we have known so far are dedicated to throwing parties and it doesn't seem like Bee has any scandal for dating a hellhaunt who, as far as I know, is the lowest class in hell, even Millie is classist with loona XD
Why WOULD she care? She's one of the topdogs (no pun intended) below only Lucifer and his family. And frankly nobody in her own circle of hell can really chalange her for the position. And why would anyone do that? She does her job flawlessly
I think it’s cool that the goetias are the embodiment of the pettiness of the middle and upper class. Like the snobby wannabes. I feel like this show doesn’t embody pure evil, but the mockery of what others perceive as evil in our society.

Yaaaaaa Loona needs to learn to chill as much as I like the character lets not forget Capital Sins are basically Gods down there...Gluttony is also easily prob 3rd strongest Sin even bare mythos wise with Wrath being 2nd and then Pride being 1st... even the "weakest" Sin could flatten I.M.P all at once in seconds...Loona's gonna get set off on the wrong dude and get flattened so she's gotta learn to control herself Capital Sins and even Princes are just not ones to be rude to.

I think that Queen Bee feeds off of the positive energy/aura of people to make her honey by giving them sweets like cotton candy. If you look closely you will also see how the hell hounds eyes will become dilated as if they are in some kind of trance when they consume her candy. If you look back she even says something in her song that even hints it: “Your queen bee brings the sweet stuff, so keep making me that mother fcking honey.” and also says “I’m just really high on this tasty energy right now.” “I can taste the flavor of people at my parties.”
There's definitely some reason why she needs the honey, I hope they have another episode where they talk about that for the simple reason I want to see more of her.

I feel for Loona here. When you're too jaded and introverted, its hard to tell if people are genuinely nice or they're after something so they pretend to be nice. Bee was genuinely being friendly. I feel like even if Bee doesn't like a person, she will do her best to be nice.
I’ve heard people say this woman’s design looked too busy and all over the place. Honestly, if that were even true, then it still works greatly in her favor. She’s like a visual manifestation of when down a shit ton of alcohol and sugar, mingled with the personality of friend wanting to lift your spirits and make sure your drunk ass got home safe. Also she just looks like the digivolved form of a party animal from Viv’s Die Young video, which seems so sentimental, I love it.
Also beelzebub is heavily associated to bugs since one of his name is king of flies so the fact that she have a body that resemble a bee is just perfect

Sounds like you’re rationalizing some valid criticism on her design. The “busyness” isn’t intentional, so it wasn’t incorporated in a thoughtful way. She looks like a neopet sparkledog, and if her name wasn’t beezlebub I”d have never guessed who she was. She looks like jayjay with a bee theme slapped on, and it’s obvious. But it’s vivziepop’s cartoon and she can make whatever choices she wants, regardless of the criticism.
I really like how some of the leaders of Hell have good traits, like Ozzie’s genuinely caring for Fizz or Bee being a party girl who honestly just wants people to be happy and comfortable at her parties. It really makes me wonder who Charlie grew up around if she’s convinced going to Heaven (the place with the exterminators and cherubs) is the only way to have a good life/afterlife.
Charlie lives with the Sinners. They make each other miserable like it’s their job, and they’re segregated from all the places where demons have fun. She’s very concerned about them where they are, and she’s trying to solve it.

She likely grew up around her parents and their inner circle, which should mean she is at least familiar with the rulers of each circle of Hell. Because the other rings' relative normalcy is dependent on isolating and exterminating the sinners, and Heaven isn't to blame for keeping their place clean.
What about Charlie who made it her life mission to help random sinners get to heaven? Although Bee does seem more street savvy though which adds more appeal.
Kesha had a blast voicing this character 😂 I love when you can tell the voice behind the character is loving what they’re doing. Even if she isn’t the singing voice, I still adore how she plays Bee.
Asides from her design, it's pretty neat to see that the princess of gluttony herself isn’t "super evil" or something and is more like a really friendly person, a nice touch for the character
My favourite ring is envy (even tho it’s the one we haven’t seen yet), but dang is this good too. Was not expecting her to be so dog-like. Honestly, gluttony seems like the least hellish ring. Everyone has enough food, and yeah, there’s alcohol and drugs and stuff, but who cares.
I wanna see sloth SO BAD. I am totally fitting in with the whole “sloth” sin lolll… I imagine the character to be very chill and the type to be like “I dont give a f*ck” and “whatever, as long as it doesnt include me, youre fine”
This character is shockingly a lot more charismatic (in a good way) than I thought she would be. She probably isn't everything that she seems but it doesnt really look like she's a bad person. Maybe overindulging her party-goers too much, but other than that she seems to be quite considerate. A welcome twist on the formula, as most characters introduced end up being antagonists. Excited to see where they take her! (Also goddamn Vortex; how did you pull one of the SEVEN SINS?)
I mean... Bee runs GLUTTONY, overindulging is kinda the thing there. It makes sense she's such a party girl and encouraging all of that at her parties. But she does seem to care that the people present are indulging for the right reasons. To have fun, rather than to forget that problems exist.
Something i noticed that i feel like no one is talking about is that Bee is still young and acts wild and seems to not pay too much attention to her responsibilities as a sin. She’s highly respected and one of the strongest demons in hell but all she wants is a good time and i love characters like that, even if we don’t see too much of Bee in future episodes, she’ll still be one of my favorite characters
@@BearSmoothie yeah, not much info was revealed on the sins at the time of this comment, and since she seems like she’s around the same age as loona and tex, i assumed she was young. More info has been revealed about the sins since then and it’s likely she’s around 6,000 years old. (Asmodeus saying he and Mammon were around since the beginning of hell as well as Lucifer’s line “in the last 6,000 years” from the finale song in hazbin are the proof of this and neither were a thing when I made this comment so I didn’t know)
When she gave that weird expression towards blitz getting carried by the crowd I could swear that whatever was coming next would be some sort of jealousy burst from him stealing the show from her, but I was surprised by the fact that her reaction came mostly from a place of concern because she knew blitz wasn´t really there just having fun, but rather trying to drown his problems in booze and cheap hook ups and that was something that she wasn´t ok with, she wants people to have genuine fun, not to try and use her parties to mask problems that are eating them away in secret and she was really pissed that loona kinda of spat on her face for actually trying to help, which was also solved by a quick apology, which is neat, showing that she is actually level headed and able to kick it down a few pegs when the other end is capable of conceding. A very nice surprise on this show where characters in positions of power generally end up being just massive assholes.
I think it's more that it taints the sin, in a way. Like love in the lust den, masking pain isn't the same as being obsessed with a food, drink or other substance to the point of making yourself sick with it.
She has a symbiotic relationship with everyone at the party. She provides food, drinks, drugs, whatever makes them feel "good" and they make her beelzejuice top notch and keep her vibes up as well. Its refreshing to see someone compassionate and caring in hell
Okay my opinion on her design and personality, it all honestly fits really well. Including how all over the place her design is. I like that they went with the teenage/young adult route because that is the age group that struggles with overindulgence the most, and the age where a lot of addictions start, plus I could totally see her being younger than the other leaders of hell. I like the design because, me personally, I have adhd, and her design actually really appealed to my adhd brain, which I think is interesting because one of the struggles of adhd for a lot of people is over indulgence as a way to fix boredom. As for her “passive aggressiveness” I…really don’t see it. And her getting mad at that one bit, dude she’s a leader of hell and she holds back her anger better than most humans I’ve met. Everyone’s allowed to get angry from time to time, it doesn’t make them a bad person. And with Tex, it seemed less that he was scared of her (which if he was would be a sign of abuse) and more that he just wants her to learn better anger management when dealing with people. Which is very common. There’s plenty of amazing people who struggle with temperament issues. Esp neurodivergent people. And it seems a lot of the passive aggressiveness people are seeing is more just projections onto the character, y’know? She herself just seems like a young, immature party girl who might make a few mistakes here and there but isn’t a fundamentally bad person As for her feeding off of the honey, she doesn’t really do it in a way where it harms her party goers, and everybody’s gotta eat, so until we get confirmation that her feeding is actually hurting people, I don’t really think there’s anything bad there That’s my assessment of the character
I feel like the episode sets us up to be wary of her over friendliness by showing us the mean girls at the start of the party making fun of Loona, so we have to contend with liking the character but not trusting her until her motives are proven to us. We're running our first impression from Loona's perspective, where she's been made fun of "nicely" so many times she can't trust strangers to be genuine anymore and doesn't know how to handle it. She's extremely socially vulnerable, she's aware of it, so while she's trying to open up and have fun it's hard to break out. The "passive aggressiveness" is what we're supposed to feel as a gut reflex.

A Queen Bee whose honey sweetness is 100% natural. Love how despite being Gluttony itself, Bee takes notice and care when she sees people overindulge so much that it becomes damaging. She and Ozzie really show that you can be a good person no matter what your title is, even if it's linked to a Deadly Sin.

The fact you’d expect Bee to be like a spoiled brat but actually, shes the complete opposite! Her design is gorgeous and her personality makes me love her even more!
Bee is honestly someone I would like to be. She does have her flaws like going a little overboard when she gets angry but she is working on it. She throws parties to have a good time and wants her attendees to enjoy their time and doesn’t single loona out. She was worried about blitz when he was overindulging not for fun but for a distraction from his depression. Bee is also the only lord (except for stolas) to bow respectively to blitz without a sign of hatred towards him. She really is a party animal who just wants everyone to feel comfortable, safe and happy at her parties and if someone isn’t enjoying themselves then she checks up on them to make sure they’re okay.
Speaking of flaws -- HANG ON I'M SAYING THIS IS A GOOD THING -- but you know how she compliments Loona for "not giving a shit about how freaky she comes off"? I think she sees a bit of herself in Loona because Bee does seem to have some communication issues. When she's trying to tell her that Blitz is out of control she kind of stumbles over her words and hesitates, when she could have said something like "look, I'm not trying to be insulting to my new guests, but your dad is hurting himself and that's not good for anyone", and she probably wouldn't have offended Loona (or at least not as much as she did). Also she doesn't seem to know what "too much information" means (and it's kind of hilarious) XD "I, like, have a rainbow in my V right now" "First time I saw Satan without a shirt I was like 'oof, boy, you are hot as hell!' ...But then I wanted to DIE because it was so awkward 'cause he's like a brother to me" I like that these flaws aren't something you'd see from your typical party host; you could see them with legit ANYONE. It really gives her some more depth than she already has and I love it. :D
I love how she delivers these lines oh my god. It's probably impossible after all the legal issues they had already, but I would ADORE more of this character in the future. Such great energy and you can hear how much fun Kesha's having playing the role
Legal issues have passed...pretty sure the devs twitter stated there will be more of Loona, Beez, tex in the future and Beez is a Capital Sin so kinda hard NOT to have her...anyway they just cant have Kesha actually singing the songs thats all.

Its really refreshing seeing a character of such high status in this show thats not a total asshole. The 'Im barely an adult and living my life to the extreme' vibe she gives is perfect to describe someone whos supposed to be the living incarnation of gluttony.
Charlie should have hired her at the hotel. For a demon queen, she's down to earth, sweet, honest, wicked good looking. All that and to think shes played by Kesha herself ❤

I love Bee, they kinda make you think she's gonna be a sterotypical mean girl then nope... she's just a genuine nice really laid back girl who likes to host parties and wants to make sure everyone has a good (but not self-destructive and unhealthy time) at them. Tex really scored the jackpot.
She’s nice and sweet and gives as much as she receives, Lucifer and Ozzie are actually good sins in a way. Lucifer cares for Charlie and isn’t actually evil , Ozzie isn’t a douche bag and loves fizz and bee is always trying to make sure the people at her party are ok and safe
She is now officially my new favorite character in Helluva Boss. Awesome voice, really cool design, and probably has the best and most friendly personality in the entire series.
She's one of my favourite characters, not because of her looks (except her hair), but because she genuinely seems really nice. I met someone once who was like her, and she was really nice, and made my week because she helped me come out of my shell, and have a good time. The episode felt relatable to me, and she felt like a great friend, and I love that.
I love how she can feel energy off of someone if they are having fun or if someone is just trying to get through a night trying to get their own bad vibes off to distract themselves from their true feelings I love how she is portrayed as a Sin of gluttony she really gives me those vibes of feeling off people having a genuine good time. Viv did an absolute badass job on a character that I can really relate too I feel her energy it's what I used to do alot just wanting to have fun I do love how concerned she is for someone knowing blitz was only getting drunk to drink some pain away and super she was concerned about it I love her alot + On the side note she really captured Kesha alot for this I can feel the same energy she is Kesha's Party Animal 🎉 I LOVE QUEEN BEE
I'm glad finally was shown a character with a potential enemy vibe but instead we got a charming stunning honey girl 🤩🤩 Also, Tex is a good boy so is understandable his girlfriend is a positive soul 💕

She surprised me with her sweet, optimistic, and kind personality! Honestly, I fricking love her! It’s just probably the fact that she wasn’t a sore loser after the competition with Blitzo, and showed concern for him after he overdid it. Not to mention, making Loona feel welcome in the beginning just so she could have fun! Let’s just say, Bee is an optimistic, and energetic character who just wants her guests to enjoy themselves and have a good time! People who agree 👇🏻👇🏻
The story potential with this character is enormous! Imagine this; when ever Beelzebub gets to appear in a future episode, we could have her try to interact Loona again while trying to clear that moment at the party. But also imagine in that same, potential episode she could interact with Octavia, (Which I know sounds like a pipe dream) could lead interesting story beats and character interactions down the line. And it would be nice to have recurring side who isn't hostile to one or more of the main cast. I hope Beelzebub shows up more in the future, because she is a cool character with design and personality to match. Even when she gets mad, she calms herself, apologizes, and hopes that those around feels better. And she's voiced by Ke$ha, so bonus points there.
She is my spirit animal! This is literally me at every party and talking to people, I love making everyone have a good time. I love seeing someone new to a social gathering and being nervous at the start, then seeing them come out of their shell later and have a good time in the end, leaving glad that they came.
What I love is how it makes sense for the embodiment of gluttony to be so charismatic and nice. Bee being genuinely nice and welcoming to other encourages people to indulge more. Kind of like a grandma constantly feeding you out of the goodness of her heart
I bet they're besties with Lucifer! (I also have a head canon that while the meeting Beelzebub often takes Lucifer in her arms and lifts him up, while smiling happily and greeting him)
It kinda makes sense that she is so nice and easygoing. Her whole embodiment of gluttony is literal indulgence. Doing things that make you super happy in the moment like drinking,drugs,dancing and just partying as a whole. She wants her people to indulge so she plays the perfect host with the endless buffet
I feel it needs to be mentioned that Bee's kindness is genuine I think, but it's limited to her immediate vicinity and towards furthering the successful production of quality honey, which it seems she may need to stay happy. Just a theory, but makes her role as Princess of Gluttony much more tragic. I can't wait to see what (if anything) Helluva Boss does with her. Crazy that they got Kesha to voice this character. Fits her like a glove

I love that Bee isnt just hot, but shes genuinley really nice!! She tried to help Loona feel included, she took her loss to Blitz like a champ, and she was actually concerned when he over did it and wanted to help. Shes just a hyper extrovert who loves to throw parties so people can have a great time!! And the fact that shes voiced by Kesha is just the cherry on top!! I absolutely ADORE her!!

I still feel like shes not to be trusted, she even said that she usaully steals belphadors party drugs and she also runs the hellhound adoption centres where loona got adopted from (atleast i think) and that place didnt really treat loona that nicely and by her own words shes “proud to be a jackass” and also she was sometimes flirtacious to alot of the hellhounds there even though she has boyfriend and she also aaid infront of tex that she thought satan was hot
Yeah I feel that really gluttony isn't as much of a sin as the bible makes it out to be and it's reflected in this character. Moderation is key but that doesn't mean you can't indulge and have a good time occasionally and she tries her best to make sure that everyone who indulges at her parties is having a genuinely good time. She does seem to use people's gluttony to her advantage to produce honey but out of all the seven deadly sins she is the most empathetic of the bunch.

Exactly. Kinda like with Asmodeus when Moxxie started singing his lovesong. He didn't straight up murder the imp or kick him out - he actually gave him a few pointers to be in vibe with the place and offered him a second chance.

what others seem to fail at recognizing is that Loona is a reclusive teen with a lot of emotional trauma and social issues. She’s getting defensive there because she’s more used to being judged and becoming defensive and aggressive at that is her go to response. This is her first party, and she even knew that something like this could happen which is why she tried to leave at first. The difference here is that she was just starting to enjoy herself for once when this happened, so she was also likely not pleased at the prospect of having to leave because the tables turned and now Blitz has to be taken home. Loona was in the wrong, but it’s not like any of this was out of character for her, and she backed down when she realized Tex was getting upset and did apologize.
When she was first introduced I really expected her to be the typical "mean girl" that was heavy fake nice, but she's just really cool. She's someone I'd actually trust with my drink.

I like the subtle aspects of insect from Beelzebub’s real life counterpart while still being mostly hellhound. Her design is a little much but that honestly fits her character. Also Tex literally dating the princess of gluttony is amazing😂

I bet that Bee learned how to be kind to others because she can taste people's vibes: sweetness all around makes her sweet. That's probably why she throws so many parties and why Loona's anger and bitterness made she act out so fast (like bitting on a really sour lime out of a sudden).
Well that and Bee was legit being super chill and friendly and Loona responds with...hostility and disrespect FOR A CAPITAL SIN...Bee still has a crown to defend...even if Bee doesnt LIKE being hostile or aggressive she still has a job as a capital sin to reign in and cease disrespect from other Demons etc etc etc regardless of whether she "likes" doing that or not.

Vortex was such a huggable dork in this episode. It's a massive change in character focus, but it helps to flesh him out more as a person, especially when you consider the fact that he's supposed to be an imposing bodyguard for Verosika. Plus, he's always been kind to Loona and I'm glad that aspect stayed consistent in this episode, even if he didn't intervene when the two girls started to clash over Blitzo's overindulgence causing issues for the other partygoers.
I mean, loona spoke out of turn. She was literally mouthing off to demon royalty, and not just royalty, one of the 7 deadly sins. The third most powerful demon in abrahamic lore. She was jealous of her because she was already with vortex, and got real disrespectful when she told her in the nicest way possible that her dad was not ok, and was causing problems. She kinda deserved, and needed a quick check like that.
Here he is far more nicer than when he kicked some poor guy away from the stage in his first episode appearance

Absolutely enchanted by the way Bee changes size depending on context. When she's interacting with Vortex, she's shorter than him. When she's challenging Blitz, she's a good head taller than Vortex. And of course when she gets 'spicy' with Loona she becomes HUGE and then shrinks down again. It's a really good way of subtly showing her character; she *chooses* to be a non-threatening size most of the time, because she wants good vibes. But there's way more power than her appearance suggests.

@@PeaceGrrl Being larger let's her see over the crowd easier and tend to people's -needs- wants. It would be pragmatic and make sense for her to canonically be able to shift in size like that. She's more than powerful enough for it. Practically all demons of a certain power level are able to do it and Bee is one of the most powerful in the setting.
I think it's an angle/perspective thing, when she's challenging Blitz the angle looks like we're below looking up at them as if they were on a stage and Vortex looks a bit shorter than Bee since he's farther away from us. There are also some points where she may look taller but she's just flying, always thought it was an interesting how she's a wolf with wings tho

I like to think it in two ways. The enjoyment of good food is probably the most universal delight and sin, while being the most basic and fundamental in some sense. Explains why there are more hellhounds who are lower class specimens than say ozzie's club. Also her ability to "taste" people's vibes, and potentially even feed off from it, allows to her to be more attentive to people's emotion.
Oz is literally in love with an imp though, I wouldn't say he doesn't respect them. He's just aware of how society perceives them and uses that to fuck with people.
Asmodeus didn't have anything against imps. Most of the people who use his restaurant are imps after all. He only showed antagonism towards Moxxie because he was singing about love in a place designed only for lust

I think that Queen Bee feeds off of the positive energy/aura of people to make her honey by giving them sweets like cotton candy. If you look closely you will also see how the hell hounds eyes will become dilated as if they are in some kind of trance when they consume her candy.
If you look back she even says something in her song that even hints it:
“Your queen bee brings the sweet stuff, so keep making me that mother fcking honey.”
and also says
“I’m just really high on this tasty energy right now.”
“I can taste the flavor of people at my parties.”

I’ve heard people say this woman’s design looked too busy and all over the place. Honestly, if that were even true, then it still works greatly in her favor. She’s like a visual manifestation of when down a shit ton of alcohol and sugar, mingled with the personality of friend wanting to lift your spirits and make sure your drunk ass got home safe. Also she just looks like the digivolved form of a party animal from Viv’s Die Young video, which seems so sentimental, I love it.

It really makes me wonder who Charlie grew up around if she’s convinced going to Heaven (the place with the exterminators and cherubs) is the only way to have a good life/afterlife.
Charlie lives with the Sinners.
They make each other miserable like it’s their job, and they’re segregated from all the places where demons have fun.
She’s very concerned about them where they are, and she’s trying to solve it.

Kesha had a blast voicing this character 😂 I love when you can tell the voice behind the character is loving what they’re doing. Even if she isn’t the singing voice, I still adore how she plays Bee.

Asides from her design, it's pretty neat to see that the princess of gluttony herself isn’t "super evil" or something and is more like a really friendly person, a nice touch for the character
My favourite ring is envy (even tho it’s the one we haven’t seen yet), but dang is this good too. Was not expecting her to be so dog-like. Honestly, gluttony seems like the least hellish ring. Everyone has enough food, and yeah, there’s alcohol and drugs and stuff, but who cares.

This character is shockingly a lot more charismatic (in a good way) than I thought she would be. She probably isn't everything that she seems but it doesnt really look like she's a bad person. Maybe overindulging her party-goers too much, but other than that she seems to be quite considerate. A welcome twist on the formula, as most characters introduced end up being antagonists. Excited to see where they take her! (Also goddamn Vortex; how did you pull one of the SEVEN SINS?)

Something i noticed that i feel like no one is talking about is that Bee is still young and acts wild and seems to not pay too much attention to her responsibilities as a sin. She’s highly respected and one of the strongest demons in hell but all she wants is a good time and i love characters like that, even if we don’t see too much of Bee in future episodes, she’ll still be one of my favorite characters

More info has been revealed about the sins since then and it’s likely she’s around 6,000 years old. (Asmodeus saying he and Mammon were around since the beginning of hell as well as Lucifer’s line “in the last 6,000 years” from the finale song in hazbin are the proof of this and neither were a thing when I made this comment so I didn’t know)

When she gave that weird expression towards blitz getting carried by the crowd I could swear that whatever was coming next would be some sort of jealousy burst from him stealing the show from her, but I was surprised by the fact that her reaction came mostly from a place of concern because she knew blitz wasn´t really there just having fun, but rather trying to drown his problems in booze and cheap hook ups and that was something that she wasn´t ok with, she wants people to have genuine fun, not to try and use her parties to mask problems that are eating them away in secret and she was really pissed that loona kinda of spat on her face for actually trying to help, which was also solved by a quick apology, which is neat, showing that she is actually level headed and able to kick it down a few pegs when the other end is capable of conceding.
A very nice surprise on this show where characters in positions of power generally end up being just massive assholes.
I think it's more that it taints the sin, in a way. Like love in the lust den, masking pain isn't the same as being obsessed with a food, drink or other substance to the point of making yourself sick with it.
She has a symbiotic relationship with everyone at the party. She provides food, drinks, drugs, whatever makes them feel "good" and they make her beelzejuice top notch and keep her vibes up as well.

I like that they went with the teenage/young adult route because that is the age group that struggles with overindulgence the most, and the age where a lot of addictions start, plus I could totally see her being younger than the other leaders of hell.
I like the design because, me personally, I have adhd, and her design actually really appealed to my adhd brain, which I think is interesting because one of the struggles of adhd for a lot of people is over indulgence as a way to fix boredom.
As for her “passive aggressiveness” I…really don’t see it. And her getting mad at that one bit, dude she’s a leader of hell and she holds back her anger better than most humans I’ve met. Everyone’s allowed to get angry from time to time, it doesn’t make them a bad person. And with Tex, it seemed less that he was scared of her (which if he was would be a sign of abuse) and more that he just wants her to learn better anger management when dealing with people. Which is very common. There’s plenty of amazing people who struggle with temperament issues. Esp neurodivergent people.
And it seems a lot of the passive aggressiveness people are seeing is more just projections onto the character, y’know? She herself just seems like a young, immature party girl who might make a few mistakes here and there but isn’t a fundamentally bad person
As for her feeding off of the honey, she doesn’t really do it in a way where it harms her party goers, and everybody’s gotta eat, so until we get confirmation that her feeding is actually hurting people, I don’t really think there’s anything bad there
That’s my assessment of the character
I feel like the episode sets us up to be wary of her over friendliness by showing us the mean girls at the start of the party making fun of Loona, so we have to contend with liking the character but not trusting her until her motives are proven to us. We're running our first impression from Loona's perspective, where she's been made fun of "nicely" so many times she can't trust strangers to be genuine anymore and doesn't know how to handle it. She's extremely socially vulnerable, she's aware of it, so while she's trying to open up and have fun it's hard to break out. The "passive aggressiveness" is what we're supposed to feel as a gut reflex.

Bee is an amazing character
the fact loons wasn’t scared of bee, and instead was fucking ready to throw hands. she only gave up after seeing vortex’s reaction
Bee is honestly someone I would like to be. She does have her flaws like going a little overboard when she gets angry but she is working on it. She throws parties to have a good time and wants her attendees to enjoy their time and doesn’t single loona out. She was worried about blitz when he was overindulging not for fun but for a distraction from his depression. Bee is also the only lord (except for stolas) to bow respectively to blitz without a sign of hatred towards him. She really is a party animal who just wants everyone to feel comfortable, safe and happy at her parties and if someone isn’t enjoying themselves then she checks up on them to make sure they’re okay.
Speaking of flaws -- HANG ON I'M SAYING THIS IS A GOOD THING -- but you know how she compliments Loona for "not giving a shit about how freaky she comes off"? I think she sees a bit of herself in Loona because Bee does seem to have some communication issues.
When she's trying to tell her that Blitz is out of control she kind of stumbles over her words and hesitates, when she could have said something like "look, I'm not trying to be insulting to my new guests, but your dad is hurting himself and that's not good for anyone", and she probably wouldn't have offended Loona (or at least not as much as she did).
Also she doesn't seem to know what "too much information" means (and it's kind of hilarious) XD

I like that these flaws aren't something you'd see from your typical party host; you could see them with legit ANYONE. It really gives her some more depth than she already has and I love it. :D
I love how she delivers these lines oh my god. It's probably impossible after all the legal issues they had already, but I would ADORE more of this character in the future. Such great energy and you can hear how much fun Kesha's having playing the role
The legal issues seem related to the lawsuit that is finally over so I don't think there will be major issues as such with making it happen

Its really refreshing seeing a character of such high status in this show thats not a total asshole. The 'Im barely an adult and living my life to the extreme' vibe she gives is perfect to describe someone whos supposed to be the living incarnation of gluttony.

I love Bee, they kinda make you think she's gonna be a sterotypical mean girl then nope... she's just a genuine nice really laid back girl who likes to host parties and wants to make sure everyone has a good (but not self-destructive and unhealthy time) at them.

She’s nice and sweet and gives as much as she receives, Lucifer and Ozzie are actually good sins in a way. Lucifer cares for Charlie and isn’t actually evil , Ozzie isn’t a douche bag and loves fizz and bee is always trying to make sure the people at her party are ok and safe
She is now officially my new favorite character in Helluva Boss. Awesome voice, really cool design, and probably has
the best and most friendly personality in the entire series.

She's one of my favourite characters, not because of her looks (except her hair), but because she genuinely seems really nice. I met someone once who was like her, and she was really nice, and made my week because she helped me come out of my shell, and have a good time. The episode felt relatable to me, and she felt like a great friend, and I love that.

I honestly adore bee’s attitude towards her guests. I expected her to honestly be another character who’s like “eVeRyOnE LoOOvEs ME!” But no! She surprised me with her sweet, optimistic, and kind personality! Honestly, I fricking love her!
It’s just probably the fact that she wasn’t a sore loser after the competition with Blitzo, and showed concern for him after he overdid it. Not to mention, making Loona feel welcome in the beginning just so she could have fun!
Let’s just say, Bee is an optimistic, and energetic character who just wants her guests to enjoy themselves and have a good time!

I thought she was gonna be a “mean bitch” type character when I first saw her but now I honestly love her character and design so much it’s insane
The story potential with this character is enormous! Imagine this; when ever Beelzebub gets to appear in a future episode, we could have her try to interact Loona again while trying to clear that moment at the party. But also imagine in that same, potential episode she could interact with Octavia, (Which I know sounds like a pipe dream) could lead interesting story beats and character interactions down the line. And it would be nice to have recurring side who isn't hostile to one or more of the main cast. I hope Beelzebub shows up more in the future, because she is a cool character with design and personality to match. Even when she gets mad, she calms herself, apologizes, and hopes that those around feels better. And she's voiced by Ke$ha, so bonus points there.

She is my spirit animal! This is literally me at every party and talking to people, I love making everyone have a good time.
I love seeing someone new to a social gathering and being nervous at the start, then seeing them come out of their shell later and have a good time in the end, leaving glad that they came.
What I love is how it makes sense for the embodiment of gluttony to be so charismatic and nice. Bee being genuinely nice and welcoming to other encourages people to indulge more. Kind of like a grandma constantly feeding you out of the goodness of her heart

It kinda makes sense that she is so nice and easygoing. Her whole embodiment of gluttony is literal indulgence. Doing things that make you super happy in the moment like drinking,drugs,dancing and just partying as a whole. She wants her people to indulge so she plays the perfect host with the endless buffet

I feel it needs to be mentioned that Bee's kindness is genuine I think, but it's limited to her immediate vicinity and towards furthering the successful production of quality honey, which it seems she may need to stay happy. Just a theory, but makes her role as Princess of Gluttony much more tragic. I can't wait to see what (if anything) Helluva Boss does with her. Crazy that they got Kesha to voice this character. Fits her like a glove
