I'm trying to figure out if I can fit a touch screen from a G751JM to my G751JT. I see the ribbon cable for the digitizer up top, but does that connect separately from the screen to the motherboard? Or does it connect to the screen itself?

Do those beige/white tape(5:34) and black tape (6:33) come with the laptop screen or are those tools you buy separately? How can I be absolutely certain of my ASUS laptop's model?
I found Model Number: Qualcomm Atheros/AR5B22-SB on the bottom sticker but that search result is unsuccessful and super unfamiliar to me, so I don't feel like that's what I need to search.
Sometimes what you need is on the part itself given there are small differences even within the same model of laptop, i have an asus q524 and i wanted to get a new digitizer etc
But there were two different digitizer boards because digitizers had differently sized cables even within q524u which was my laptops model it was a huge pain in the ass and the one i needed wasnt actually in stock

LOL! No videos on repairing MacBook Pro Retina screens. Obviously those screens have you stumped.
As the only video I could find for this specific laptop...... what a disappointment. It seems sped, up... there is no real instruction going on....which I kind of expected based on the title including a reference to replacement procedure. How about doing one with NO music, and talk us through it..... or don;t post this type of video. wasn't helpful...... assuming that was your intention.... to be helpful.
you see all what he does. Don't see the problem? Disconnect the cables's, take of the digitizer, heat up the adhesive to losen up ... It's not rocket science.
