I love this new channel!!! I have brand new things to cook and there’s always an adorable snow dog!!!
Shelby did a fantastic job helping Greg make that rue. She's a really good assistant.
THANX A MILLION Jess & Jamie, for thus recipe and instructions on how to video, I have wanted to learn "how to" cook and after, eat this Super Dish, now you guys have provided the "whole Enchilada"! Oh, I'm sorry Greg, I didn't mean to forget you. Good job guys, fantastic! I'm gonna try the recipe tomorrow.
2:50 Shelby is thinking, "Swedish meatballs? Sweden is a northern snow country. I am a snow dog therefore Greg should give me a Swedish meatball for my own taste testing!" Shelby you are such a DIVA!
I can only imagine the smell of them being baked, they looked great. Another of your dishes I will have to try.
Nice One
I got a hand mixer for Christmas too I really wanted one
Those videos are dangerous! I always watch out that I already ate something before or have something to eat while watching. 😄
Oakely fan88 know it isnt dangerous
Jon Turner Well, have you ever watched a good cooking video with yummy food or tried to do your groceries while being hungry? 😄
I made this! Minus the Worcestershire sauce since I both did not have it and since it's fish my Mom cannot eat it. I also managed to flick roux onto my chest burn myself. This was in June and I still have a scar, so I burned myself worse than I thought. It tasted good, though, and Mom and I LOVE the meatballs, we had them in spaghetti another time after that too.
Another recipe to put in my food list. I do like Swedish meatballs but never made them.
I have had Turkey meatballs and they are good
Yes to a grape jelly meatball video!
I want to try some I might make it someday plus I love Shelby (who is playing pick-a-boo)
Yumm!!! One if my favorite dishes!!!
Totally making this one.
Now I'm hungry...
Jamie's face when he heard "raw chicken" 😂
mmmmm
Could it be pronounced as wooster-sheer (for Worcestershire)?
I LOVE SWEDISH MEATBALLS!
Yet I’m too lazy to make them so I’m just going to watch this for entertainment reasons...
It's actually not that hard, though the roux takes some patience. I did it recently and loved the end result though I had no Worcestershire sauce or A1 sauce to substitute it with.
I think you guys should do a chicken soup recipe for humans
You should never use metal on a non-stick pan it'll take the Teflon right off the pan.
It hasn't yet, and we always use metal on it! :) If you don't scrape and scratch at it, it will survive. A whisk isn't going to do much damage, as it bends and doesn't really scrape the pan.
What is your secret to not having ticks
One ought to never use metal on Teflon coated pans. Use a wooden or polymer mixing tool.
I love how everyone on the internet has to tell everyone what they are doing wrong. Just enjoy the video, and cook with whatever you want to cook on.
I mean shelby
I neeffer eat a metball cous I'm a vegatarien😐😐😇
Greg is so cute. Does he have a boyfriend? Would he like one?
The best part of a smaller channel is that there are less haters and more lovers
Like me and many others 💙💙💙💙💙
It looks freeking amazing
Those meatballs looked tasty and I liked how the girls were like we want some too.
4:53 Oakley came out of the living room. "Hey, guys, what's going on? Meatballs ready?"
In the end all the dogs were like "Guys, this is NOT fair, you just can't eat meatballs without sharing!"
Here in Sweden we eat them with boiled potatoes and lingonberry jam.
VesterDude My Great Grandma used to tell me about lingonberry jam. I’ve always wanted to try it!
In Newfoundland 🇨🇦 lingonberry is known as Partridge Berries and we use them with sweets but not savory food, pies, cheesecake, jam and tarts. They are very tart similar to cranberry.
VesterDude I love boiled potatoes and lingonberry jam
VesterDude so glad you told us this I was going to ask some Swedish friends tfs
I cant seem to find Lingonberry Jam SOOOO lol I make my own using black & blue berries with cranberries in a small amount of water & simmer them down then let cool. when cool, I add a tbsp of raw honey stirred in & it lasts approximately 2 weeks in the fridge.
Worcestershire is pronounced "Wuss-ter-shu" (shu as in shut, and despite the spelling there's no 'r' sound at the end) but don't pause on the gaps between the syllables - say it quickly and you'll sound like a local. Fun fact - Tolkein wrote much of the Lord of the Rings in Great Malvern, a town high up on a hill above the county :)
Peter Stean oh do they not pronounce in r in England? Here in Scotland we say the r :)
Pika no they don't, and I happen to hail from the northern part of what was traditionally Worcestershire i.e. the Black Country, and we have weird ways of pronouncing all sorts of things!
Here is America we say “wuss-teh-shirr.”
I am also a Swedish viewer and I love all your videos! But real Swedish meatballs are very different! But I am going to try this recipe maybe a new favorite dish 😊
I have been looking through my old recipes and couldn't find my Swedish meatball one. So last week, looked at a lot of RUclips recipe videos for it. There were many but not my mom's recipe. Then this morning, here it is, on your video. Now I can make it. Thanks for showing this.
I'm here to see the girls eat meatballs.
the way Jess pronounces Worcestershire sauce !! im dying
Usually when making meatballs it’s the 1 time you do want a fattier ground beef
Your recipe is quite similar to mine, which was handed down from my Great Grandmother who immigrated to Utah from Sweden as a child. Yours is quicker though because mine is a two hour project for the gravy (done in a mixing bowl, then poured on the meatballs and put in the oven) but your sauce looks so silky and inviting!! I’m going to have to try yours just to see. I love this channel. Thanks for developing it!
How are the Babie? I love all three Furry Babies, Memphis,Shelby and my fav, Oakley! I think because she's an older furry baby and I'm 64, I connect w/her more so, but the only videos I watch on RUclips is you guys , well #1 and I love seeing Michigan through you,so thanx a million. I love Memphis & Shelby a whole bunch, but Oakley is my favorite. Have a great day. Bye guys.
A few days ago on your vlog channel you showed a pot full of homemade chili, but didn't show how you made it.
As someone who LOVES chili, I'm hoping you'll do an episode on this channel showing how to make it!
What my family has been doing for generations is Beef Stroganoff with rice. My grandma is 100% Russian and had to immigrate to Shanghai, China during WW1 (or just before). My Grandpa was 100% Armenian and he also had to immigrate to Shanghai China when he was young after the genocide in Armenia. So my family dishes are pretty much everthing European, Russian, Armenian, Chinese, and French. But I think Beef Stroganoff is our version of Swedish Meatballs. MMM Beff Stroganoff over rice pilaf is my favorite with a bunch of sour cream! So yummy in the winter.
I love the pure friendship between Jess,Jamie and Greg lol
Jamie looks really amazing Love your family
It's pronounced "Wash your sister suace" ! Lol! I'm making this today. Looks delicious! Love from Texas
My boyfriend and I really love making this. We found a recipe online that helps keep the meatballs juicier, but the sauce is to die for!! Thank you for posting this it’s been great
I love Swedish meatballs i from Sweden 🇸🇪🇸🇪PS i love cooking with the snow dogs 🐕🐕
3 hairy dogs, you must have to vacuum alot, they are so sweet though 🤗. Thank you for the recipe!! Going to try it tomorrow for my hubby!!😊
Looks so delicious! next time you make them, I recommend you try them with mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam! Its the swedish way ;)
If you want soft light meatballs, you want to use 85/15 ground beef and and two slices of milk soaked bread.
I love Cooking with the Snow Dogs. ^,..,^
@@FREAKOUT123ism How Would You Like It If She Or He Said That To You Huh, If Not Then Think Before You Speak
This should be called 'Cooking with the Snow Dogs... and Greg' !!
Awww I totally love Jess hoodie the girls as my little pony cutest thing ever 😀☺🙂😊😁
I make Swedish meatballs every Christmas (different recipe ;) ). A hint: use a small scoop--like a cookie scoop--to measure them out. And rinse it off between them (cold water) so they don''t stick.
And it's Woo-ster-sher ;)
slowly cringing at the sound of a metal whisk or utensil on a nonstick pan. Use a spatula or a silicon spatula.
Was Jamie doing his impression of the Swedish chef from Sesame Street? LOL
Great balls of fire those look Dee-Licioius !
I am from sweden and in sweden is meatballs köttbullar🙈🇸🇪
I love COOKING SO MUCHH
Like if you agree
Hahaha Shelby's like "MOM! THAT'S MAH FAV!!!"
I made their lemon rice and chicken soup it was good
Did you spray the baking spray on the baking pan
I just made these. I dont like heavy cream & butter together as this is way too rich for me so I substituted the heavy cream & butter for sour cream Kefir & Avocado oil. It makes it lighter & gives the sauce a vague tang from the yogurt. Tastes great too :)
Sounds great!
YAY! I love these kind of videos. ;)
I love your videos and i love your dogs.
anyone else see Oakley looking for her meatball?
Meatballs! Mmm mouth watering!
wooster sauce that's how you pronounce it
On NOODLES? Theyre supposed to be with potatoes! Looked delish tho ^^
They can be eaten many different ways! Some people use rice as well!
köttbullar svenska - I might actually make this for myself. Then I need to visit an Ikea and see how well my effort stacks up to the true benchmark of swedish meatballs.
Hello, weird question if the day lol. Firstly love the videos. Now the question.... I LOVE your kitchen floor and every time you show it I say to myself, I want that floor lol. Do you have any details about the colour or make etc. Sorry for the question but I’ve never liked a tile as much as yours and totally want to copy it. Thank you. 😃
We got it 7 years ago from home depot
😊 thank you
Hi love your video and your dogs

methis is a big helper and I love jamies jacket
country girl Memphis
Looks so yummy! Think I'll be making this for dinner one night this week. Thanks for starting this channel. I'm always looking for easy, quick recipes that don't have a gazillion steps to prepare. With back, hip and knee issues, standing in the kitchen cooking for an hour isn't an option. Thanks again. 💟💟
you pronounce it "wusster"
this new channel is awesome !
It's so complicated and I have like none of the ingredients so I can't make it BUT IT LOOKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD IM SO UPSET I CAN'T JUST EAT THEM
This looked really good.
I vanna eated right now
That looks really good
It looks good I need to try it
These remind me so much of my dad's homemade pineapple meatballs~ Looks delicious. I think my parents and i will be trying this recipe soon~!
Should make chili next with mozzarella cheese on top of it I usually use either hamburger but to me it's a mix a little greasy but I found out that stew beef and chili it's excellent and I put a can of diced tomatoes and then I get a package of mild chili seasoning and kidney beans and sometimes I put it in my slow cooker on top of the stove and then I go to the store and I get homemade biscuits I cheat you can make them but I cheat I just made a big container of chili the other day that's why I suggest make some chili next
Anyone in December??
I'm going to make this for dinner tonight! Will tweet you the photo/finish product! :D
I'm in Norway and we always eat them with potatoes and tytteberry jam or Lingonberry which tastes the same as Cranberry sauce.
I am now trapped, Shelby has trapped me in the corner
Me: You don’t put baby in the corner!!
Love this and the other channels but just had to point out that those are not Swedish meatballs. They look Amazing and probably tasted Amazing but once again not Swedish :). The cardinal sin is the garlic. Also Swedish meatballs should be made from both pork and beef and fried in the pan and you then make the sauce from the bits and scraps that stick to the pan. Also no noodles :) Mash some potatoes for the genuine Swedish feel... Also if you guys want to do it again visit your closest IKEA and buy some lingonberry jam because that is what makes the meal special. Meatballs, mashed potatoes, sauce and lingonberry jam nom nom nom
Swedish meatballs are made.many different ways in many parts of the world. These are swedish meatballs. People can modify and change recipes slightly to their liking and their appeal. Many people would put onions on these as well , but we choose not to.
"A meat dish, originating in Europe, that uses meatballs combined with a sauce that is served as a main dish. Referred to as köttbullar in Sweden, Swedish meatballs is a food dish that uses beef, pork, veal, or a combination of several meats as the base for the meat ingredients. The meatballs are then often combined with a filler such as flour and/or breadcrumbs, pieces of bread or mashed potatoes that help to hold the ball together. Seasonings such as herbs and spices are added and then the meatballs are cooked before being topped or immersed in a sauce. Typical Swedish meatball sauces may include a brown gravy-like sauce, a white cream and/or cheese-based sauce, or a wine sauce.
There are numerous versions of Swedish meatballs that are prepared in other Scandinavian countries including Denmark, where a frikadeller is a type of meatball; and Norway, where a meat cake known as a kjøttkaker, is the Norwegian version of Swedish meatballs."
Dont really want to start an argument about semantics but when you call something Swedish you imply that its from the way we do it in Sweden. Frikkadeller from denmark is not a type of Swedish meatball but a type of meatball :) Love your channel btw and please do go to IKEA and get some lingonberry jam for the next time because that lifts the dish to new heights
We call them French Fries. . but that doesn't mean that's how the French make them heheheh
make tacos!!!
Love this video! I usually make them with mashed potatoes and lingonberries
I love jaime's sweater or hoodie or shirt that's pretty cool 😀☺🙂😊😁
Looks good. What makes the meatballs Swedish? The brown sause?
Yummy !
Yummy! I always call Worcestershire sauce, Cheshire cat sauce. Lol
Looks so yummy cant wait to try to make this
Oh yum!!! Great video, thanks for the recipe!
