Belle knew that Ray knew too much which is why she wanted him declared insane. She played so many games with Ray because she needed someone to frame for her eacape.
Yeah, it was a multifaceted move on her part, to say the least, serving many purposes: 1. Discrediting him entirely 2. Setting the scene 3. Cast doubt 4. Shift investigational focus 5. REVENGE

He did kind of stalk her as he wanted to blackmail Belle because he knew what she was up to. He ended up being convicted for starting the fire but not murder.

I'm pretty sure Belle didn't die in the fire. They should have looked into the organization that she gave all her money to. Was it real? Was it secretly run by her under another name? I think that charity that she left everything to is the key to figuring out what happened to her. I think she knew that she was going to get found out soon, and decided to take her death and set up the one witness as the culprit. She likely killed the kids so she could escape more easily. Plus, she already killed some of her kids before so it's not like it's a line that she hadn't crossed already. She definitely escaped that fire, and probably went on to kill more people until she died of natural causes or from pissing off the wrong person.
The charity Belle left the money to refused the money as blood money. The remaining wealth was fought over and divided by family members. Belle had withdrawn most of her money days before the fire.

I have a suggestion for a video that I've not seen anyone on RUclips cover! The case of Ben Bellamy in Swansea, South Wales. My sister actually went to school with him and I went to the same school a few years later, there's a memorial there for him. He was brutally tortured and murdered on his way home from a party, even buying his killers snacks from a petrol station on the way home. It's so sad but I think it should have more coverage! From what I have heard about him too, he seemed like a really lovely boy and he was far too young to go through what he did
My theory: Ray most likely knew what was going on or was even in on it. Her attempts at getting him declared insane seems a preemptive defense in case he went to authorities and spilled the beans. Who would believe a man deemed insane?

I wonder if she really was a woman or if she was an individual with some intersex condition like androgen insensitivity syndrome , that would explain the huge hands and feet and super tall stature , in that case she would not even have had the miscarriage at 17 as she would be completely sterile .

It's interesting that a huge reason why people were so put off from Belle even before knowing exactly what she'd done is because she was getting insurance money from the deaths of her husbands and children, and from the candy shop fire. Insurance was VERY taboo at the time because many people saw it as "blood money". Her neighbors saw her as getting rich off of tragedy, and to them it was distasteful.

I have seen women, older than 42, up and about after giving birth and I have seen 18 year old women badly torn and stuck in bed for a week. There is no absolute rule. If a woman can get pregnant and through a full-term pregnancy without medical intervention, chances are that she's able to give birth; especially if she's had children before. But, I know 42 seems ancient to you.
