Newton's laws (at 36:23) and the definitions at the beginning are somewhat understandable but the rest of the passage is mostly incomprehensible in my opinion. My video reviewing the Principia: ruclips.net/video/1KA9z4J0d4E/видео.html

It's just that we are not used to mathematics written in plain word. Change mean Differentiate. the first part of the book where he explain that doubling the mass double the motion and doubling the velocity doubles the motion is just a way of saying that motion = m * v . Same for first parapgraph where he explain that quantity of matter is density * volume

This brings back memories. I remember when I was 16 or 17 years old, and I lived in finnish countryside in my parents farm. One night there was a winterstorm that did cut out electricity. Next day I had physics exam about electricity, and I was studying by the candlelight, while outside wind was blowing loudly in darkness. Felt like scientist in 17th century.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing a Tibees video which, by everything we know about the RUclips algorithm and internet tastes in general, shouldn't succeed, do just that. 25 thousand people tuned in to watch someone read Newton's literature under candles. 211k people like this channel enough to come back. That's it.

I think this is the most important book in the history of science.
And probably the most important book a being from our species has done to understand objectively the universe.
The Newtonian Mechanics are so precise, after 2000 years of speculation, a genius mind offered the world the first causes and principles of how the universe functions at a matematical-mechanical level, a work that allowed us to manipulate matter and advance to our technological era, and a book that show us the true perspective of Natural Philosophy.

Bodies and forces and motion impressing upon other bodies... oh my; the candelabra and the subtext in this reading, combined with its highly attractive narrator, undoubtedly torments with distraction and tension many a young impressionable male audience, especially the academic minded and well studied in this field - truly a sorceress of delivery, venue, and material selection is Mrs. Tibees to tease an active and playful imagination! - well done. (And please! excuse upfront any undue, unintended, and/or unwanted attributions or misrepresentation with what is most assuredly my innocent and playful characterization of any and/or all levels of original intention set behind and cast directly forth in this edition on your channel)

Excellent. Enjoy all your content and this is helpful. You deliver all your content in a calm, informative, well-thought, direct, methodical and appropriate (non-rushed) pace that is a cut above. I have never read Newton's famous work, but your reading it to me is easier for me than reading it directly myself. I used to read many books in many different subjects and was able to read directly and immediately focus / concentrate for long periods of time, but this has gotten more difficult over the years. This content is very helpful. I used to read college textbooks to a friend who has an impaired optic nerve, but it seems now I'm the one who needs some help because it's easier with audio and video. Thank you and keep up the excellent work and excellent content.

    1)How many candles were lit?
2)How many apples on the table?
3)How many sips did Toby take?
4)How many pages did Toby read?
5)How many people would have watched this entire video?

Meditate tibees. I've been seeing a lot of negative energies from the peeps. I want to watch your videos but have been holding off. I know what you are trying to show me. You are a pure soul and need to find your place in this world. Since you quit your degree you would enjoy exploring nature and get away from the phones. Trust in this maybe we can meet up in the future in person when I get the energies transuted correctly. 😃 Your a good person. I see it in you. Thank you for your support. Don't listen to comments below. Yours truly. 😺

I was out on the day this video was posted. Listening to this is a clear and subtle list of what I actually know Vs what I thought I knew. The way the ideas are presented don't impose a claim but rather describe an experiment which would prove its validity yet again to an experimenter. This is more of like, how simple observations and then thought philosophies lead to some very important scientific ideas to come about.
    Thanks for the video!

When I read I take my own time to read the book in different tones, criticize other books and many more I sometimes even shout the words which are highlighted or quoted.
