Hey Travor thanks for watching till the last truck. I wasn't sure if that last truck fit the competition theme but I liked it too much no not share. Happy new year!
I agree. It was at the end of the day and I was glad that I stuck around to watch it. The driver was the representative from RC4WD and I hope he comes back again next year. Thanks for the comment
Bryce’s truck is super capable and he’s a great driver.. I learned a lot from him while I was at Colorado. I think you might be catching up to him. It would something to watch when the bugs battle it out lol. Can’t wait
I’m merely a cameraman and it’s truly because of all the awesome builders bringing out the beautiful trucks and their A game. I’m really looking forward to next year’s national. I really appreciate the comment
This video proves that Traxxas isn't the best brand out there. The TRX-4 is a good trail truck but if you want to do some serious rock crawling, you need one of the trucks in this video. I was a Traxxas nerd when I first got into crawling 5 years ago. Traxxas or nothing! Then a few years later I got to driver's a Vaterra & then an Axial. I haven't bought another Traxxas vehicle since! Horizon Hobby is my new brand & I'm not going back to Traxxas anytime soon... Thanks for another awesome video full of bad ass rc trucks!!!
I used to believe in traxxas as well and kinda moved to axial for serious comps. I’m planning to give traxxas another try tho. Their parts are good; Very strong and built well. Needs a lot more tuning to be competitive compared to other brands it seems like.
I have a TRX4 sport I am modding and it is extremely capable. The problem with the TRX-4 is it was made to be more of a scale rig with lots of detail that made the COG too high. The sport on the other hand has a lighter body and none of the extra locker servos etc. With better electronics and brass portal axle covers its a really nice rig. The portal axle covers are interesting too because it actually puts the weight below the axle.
ColoradoStreaming I’m going 2020 nationals next week with 2 trucks which were both built on traxxas portals. I minimized shortcomings during this local comp season. They are not the best by any means but are good enough to put me on podium finish when I don’t make foolish mistakes aka operator error. I will see how they play out at the nationals.
You just gotta new sub!!! Thanks for creating and sharing, I can't get enough! Nothing close to that land here in Kansas, well near me, but I love watching! Thanks a million once again 😃
Thank you for very much. The next one will be in logandale, NV in march and I am attending as a competitor. I will surely bring my camera as well and make a report.
I guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Santino Gordon thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
he's a spotter who points the driver to right direction and help picking the right line. Also spotter carries winch stick and hold it as an anchor when winching. However, spotter cannot directly assist the driver (hooking/unhooking the winch)
My fav competition is Remo hobby 1093-st its really cheap crawler skill level 2 the axle is wider he can be trail truck its just like knock off of axial Scx10 honcho
Thanks for watching! The most you see here are Toyzuki, Game changer by The Crawl space, Team Gspeed and Team Garage Hack. Those are the popular chassis/ motor relocation / transmission setup and provide the most optimal weight distribution. And add axles - SCX10.2(AR44) / SSD ( AR44 base) / Vanquish .
What could be useful is the average scores per course. I’ll ask official to add that info for the next year. By glancing over the score sheet, DNF rates on course 1 to 4 are approximately 60%, 50%, 50%, 40%. respectively. I also thought the course 4 was the hardest but score says otherwise.
That could be different story if you expand your horizons. I usually drive at least 1.5 hrs to get to any decent rocky area.. For this particular event, I drove 12 hours one way. I'm sure you could find a decent place if you look for it. Good luck!
CRAWLER75 your vids inspired me to film too. Got my session a flexible tripod to record. If you come out next season at the SD comps. We can use that for diff angles. Like for challenging gates.
J. I love Hyrax tires but they are not the best when things become little muddy. A lot of guys with different compound had plenty of traction problem on the course though. Also, the video tends to soften the real incline or difficulty of the course.
Toujours super de voir ces scale , le cadre est propice , par contre j ai du ma à reconnaître les châssis ... 😀
New subscriber I really liked the green truck was guided around the course.
Top respect.👍

TGH Creeper trans has been really good to me! I’m planning to build c2 with new TGH trans with forward motor. Thanks for watching Marc!

Thanks Andy!
That stock Yota at the end was alot of fun to watch.

what does the guy with the stick do ?

Amazing rigs brother, awesome job
Thanks. My favorite event of the year. Definitely doing it again next year

It seems like a nice truck for the price! Thank you for watching
Who makes the bug Body ???
Great video. You going to sorcca nationals this year too?
Yes sir! I wouldn't miss it for the world haha. I will be competing class 1 and class 2
Sweet. It's so far for me but I wish I could make it
What were the rigs in this comp? Looked like a lot of Vanquish, maybe a trail finder? Anything else? Excellent video btw, got you subbed.

@@slopppy75 awesome, thanks for the information!
The mama is super awesome. Is that from tamiya sand body?
Yes it looks like Tamiya Sand scorcher body extended to fit the longer wheelbase.
@@slopppy75 how did mamta extend the body? I have one, but donno how to build it 😢
Nice vid brother
Thanks for watching!
That course seemed deceptionally hard. Do u remember what low score was?

CRAWLER75 wow that’s a high dnf rate! These events are no joke!
Course 4 was incredibly easy IMO. I think low score was -28. I had a -16 and I had a stupid gate.
TheTeamDestruction you going this year? What place u shooting for?
@@SlayerMtg yep, Top 3
Can I bring my summit lol
Every RC is welcomed if it meets the spec but summit is probably wider than all of them gates haha
what are the rules for the use of the Bungie, and would a scale winch be legal instead
A Good craw 💯
Thanks for watching!
I want to get a crawler but their is no place close to me in iowa to go rock crawling

That angle tho 11:00
Haha Brian, I saw that little crack and I was like it might be cool to stick my camera in there.. lol. thanks for noticing it

Oh man that would be awesome. It is fun to try out different camera and angles
Sic bug.
He’s definitely one of the top builders and contenders at the nationals. Awesome truck!
where this place event .. .
San Ysidro Trials Area, New Mexico USA. There is endless surface of rocks to crawl on. Thanks for watching
Wow, that's a great video. I'm doing a video shoot too. Why don't we share information with each other?
Hi let me know if there's anything I can help you with
Stick guys in the way too much
ok truck at 10:30 has winch
First guy needs a different compound of hyraxes I've never seen them perform so poorly.
J. I love Hyrax tires but they are not the best when things become little muddy. A lot of guys with different compound had plenty of traction problem on the course though. Also, the video tends to soften the real incline or difficulty of the course.
