I like this story the father did not sugar coat things with his children. He told them the truth. That what needs to happen when people cheat on you. Everybody needs to know why you and your spouse are getting a divorce.
Does she not realize that her own son can confirm or deny her lies? Probably not most narcissistic cheaters don't. Its his house, no expectations of privacy especially when your MARRIED. The story the wife gives about the affair doesn't really make sense compared to what she and the brother said to each other when they met. They were alone, not aware they were being filmed.
