Thank you for posting, on the TEF we had on a brass plague under the KI-Gas pump it gave full instructions for cold starting, and using the Handle and the decompression feature to assist starting in the cold., however we could never turn it on decompression, let alone fast enough to start it. They put the front decompression lever where you could reach whilst cranking, they must have been fit guys back in the day if anyone ever did start it with the handle.
I can also remember trying to start the Fergy on the handle using the decompressor lever, but it would just stop dead when you put it back on compression, so I was never successful. I can’t remember reading the starting instructions, but it was over 60 years ago!
Thank you for the video Dan enjoyed as always, 🙂👍question, do you think you've managed to persuade Farmer p to buy the 3080 ???? 🤔 It's sooooo ideal...😊
Great to see you and the new video, I'm very anxious to see the next one.😊
Looking forward to this mini series. Everyday is a school day!!
Top job as always Dan👍🏻🛠️
Thanks Dan, nice to see.
Really looking forward to the future videos of this project. Lots to learn from your videos, thanks Dan.

The grey fergie is going to keep you busy this winter😂
👍👍
Keep em coming Dan 👍👌
Looking forward to the upcoming videos
Glad I don’t have a starting handle, it would probably hit the top of the radiator 😆🫣
Bore and sleeve the casting ? or are new ones available and cheap............
Not available as far as I know.
It's a steel fabrication rather than a casting.
@@CowfarmerDan Weld up and bore job then ?
