Everything you said is spot on, they are of excellent quality and very cool. Also, after some research I found out the bags may be made by Vessel. I compared side by side and am positive these are made by vessel - which is a huge plus and speaks to their quality! Also my bag came a couple of weeks ago in a box labeled "Maverick 4.0" 🤔
