I heard he was going to Wichita far from the opera forever more. And he was going to work the straw makin the sweat drip out of every pour on the trombone. Until the stains coming from his blood (from working hard) tell him to go back home.
Honestly not even trombonists, clarinet here and when our sousaphone starts playing it no one plays the written parts we all just start playing the same thing and we’ll go through the halls like that and it’s lit man. Of course respect to trombones we’ve got 4 amazing ones this year, and one who’s just a prodigy pretty much
@JayMartin-mt4ug literally same. We didn't even have a written part. We just figured it out by ear and could all play it in unison and it was the best thing ever.
I never told my director for that exact reason but me and my section used to jump the fence to the practice field with our instruments so we didnt have to walk around to the gate. For context, we were bari sax players

I came to the comments to see if anyone knew it was seven nation army and... nothing you are awesome.
Electric tuba, but trombone is a close second

Our band is practicing Seven Nation Army right now and I didn’t need that loud trombone reminder to go over my music again
It's true, a Seven Nation Army can't hold him back
yes
Couldn't believe they're gonna rip it off and that they're taking their time right behind his back
gonna play it at a football game tomorrow

Slayed, hands down
When seven nation kicks in every high school trombonist just gets those tingles like this is the song that makes us a cool band.

seven nation army def the hypest song in all the band
At our school the alto sax has the melody almost the entire time. At points the tenor sax and sousaphones do tho
The flutes accidentally squeaking on the high notes 🙃
Band kids are a different breed and have been given too much power
Well we need to defend ourselves somehow
When SpongeBob is the greatest guitar song, seven nation army becomes a trombone song.

7 nation army one was so accurate, that song is a shared experience for every band kid 😂
