- The kickstand on your motorcycle is often an overlooked aspect of regular bike maintenance and because of this, can lead to mishaps and loosing parts on the trail. In this video, Charles goes over some helpful tricks and tips for maintaining and installing a kickstand on KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas dirt bikes to ensure yours stays operating properly.

I found best KTM kickstand is no kickstand. No more trouble !!!

Mine fell off 2 weeks ago.
Fortunately I had just finished washing the bike & took it off the box stand and it flew apart as I was lowering the side stand.while it was in the driveway.
5 hours on a 2022 KTM.
Every since I found this place I’ve ditched Revzilla entirely.
I had two brand new bikes that lost that bolt within the first 3 hrs. The one spring hit me in the face and narrowly missed my eye. What's worse is that my KTM dealer hasn't provided a replacement and I'm now heading into month three of trying. I called KTM customer service and they didn't offer any help either. I drilled thru the stand and installed clevis pin in place of the small screw.
How the chain rolls soo close
I might even drill out and retap to the next size up but the clevis pin sounds solid as well. The stock bolt is kinda puny.

Why not do it when you first buy it new
Because some people aren’t expecting their kickstand to blow apart 💁♂️
Both the OEM and RM kickstands for the KTM's are completely garbage. They break in half right next to the bolt. In the past 100 hrs I've been through 3. Save a lot of money by just buying a quality kick stand
Really? What's happening when they break? The only issue we've seen is the small screw backing out that we mention in the video. -Charles
That's tough to believe, unless you are trailering with the kick stand in the down position, strapping down too tight, and pulling your trailer whilst running from the law.
