  • today Bear brought me a Honda trail 70 engine and it had a loose timing chain. today I want to show how to remove that slack without replacing the chain.

    The reason Honda had the tensioner stop there is because it means your chain is beyond spec.
    A new chain is like $10 if you do all this work anyway just throw in a new chain it’s really easy.

    Great lil fix, how far does it have before the plunger pops out ie: what’s max you can go?

      Actually it's a probably maybe 2-3 in before it drops out, but don't worry if it falls out you can just put it back in. Just make sure it's clean, not gritty. Thanks for watching bud. Have a great day 😁

    yES THOSE 10 AND 12 MM GROW Legs and run if I let them set for a minute . I know I seen them running out the fing door one night .
