He was really convincing as an evil, ruthless Man with a twisted mind 😱 As i watched it in the Theatre, at one point i completely forgot that it's Madhavan doing his role, & was only able to see Vanraj, I genuinely started to feel fear each time he was on the screen. Which i never expected of myself while watching a movie! He just draws us in with his performances & makes us forget everything else!👌🏼🙏🏼 An unforgettable experience! 😊

That was janvis fault, janvi locked her parents in the closet so the parents couldnt save dhruv, then dhruv went upstairs to hide. Few moments later janvi found him and pushes him off

@ananyasharma8636 Right dear 😢 The youngest of the lot, but he suffered the most. It was very painful to watch that little guy in so much trouble & pain just because of Vanraj's twisted mind. 😢 But Dhruv was brave enough to survive it all. 🥺

I've watched Shaitaan in Theatres & just now completed watching it on Netflix again. It's a delight to watch, yet very unnerving & spine chilling. 😱 Shows how a seemingly normal person can be terrifyingly evil, ruthless & irrational, and thats the scariest thing. In real life too, you never know if someone is hiding their real, twisted intentions under a mask.
Coming back to the film, there are no jumpscares, ghosts or VFX, still you will have goosebumps. Mr. Madhavan as Vanraj has done an amazing job accurately creating Psychological fear in our minds through his laid-back yet malevolent ways of getting what he wants 😱 The full title track "Shaitaan" plays right at the beginning of the movie, where we can see the visuals of a Doll being created, to be utilised for Black Magic. Now that was completely unexpected, that too right at the starting! The lyrics, music & especially the visual of the title track is equal parts Thrilling, creepy & horrifying at the same time, especially on the Big Screen! 😱 Also, even to just imagine a strange man having complete control over a young innocent girl, abusing, manipulating & using her as per his twisted mind, is a horrifying thought in itself 😰 Excellent performances by Mr. Madhavan & Janki! 🎉👌🏼🧿 The experience is worth having!!
