  • Some more rear end work. Don't know what causes this kind of failure, but it happens.

      @Simon Hank Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
      Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

    Always wondered, sealed bearings inside geargase, why? Does it increase on decrease bearing life? Or does it matter, poteto potato.

    10:50 i recon most drivers dont know that the boggie bearing is a sealed unit and you are only lubricating the seal! That amount is bonkers though!

    I actually thought that they were chain driven bogies..🤔 Do they allways have gears in there nowadays?

    • @denfantatsiskaraggsockan9782
      @denfantatsiskaraggsockan9782 5 лет назад

      yes gear are most common . chain has some problem with holding

    • @MichaelJBerg
      @MichaelJBerg  5 лет назад

      Chains where used into the 90's yet on some. But all gears nowadays

    • @agfunk1124

      Ok thanks for information. It is understandable that gears shouldn't slip but..😁 Well bearings big enough to take all load so it should be ok solution. Lot of stress in the bogie anyway because gears pushing each others away and the other side, wheel tracks are pulling wheels together and snow between track and wheel won't help that situation at all..
