Before that, Takabisha had a completely unique layout compared to other Eurofighters.

Visited this place 4 years ago very ready to go on all the crazy thrill rides BUT i had to chicken out of this one after seeing it go down right in front of my face. Hopefully i can get another chance to visit this park again soon
it's better when most people don't know there's an inversion (barrel roll?) at the beginning of the ride that follows you into a launch section before you even get to the lift
Looks like hangtime at knotts berry farm. Although I’m sure this is steeper but honestly it’s not that bad if you like roller coasters. Looks scary but once you’re on it, it’s fine. Going up is scarier than the whole coaster
They were both built by the same company, Gerstlauer, but hangtime is an infinity coaster (longer trains) and this is a eurofighter. I wouldn't expect most people to know this because this is pretty rare knowledge and you don't need it at all
This is similar to Hang Time at knotts berry farm in California… just… not as inverted of a drop😆 but it does stop at the top, hence the name “Hang Time”
@Joshua Frias It wouldn’t because coasters are one of the safest activities in the world. In fact, there is a higher chance of injury going to a park than riding the coasters at the park.
Gerstlaurer is seriously under appreciated. They’ve made some seriously incredible coasters. Takabisha, Kärnan, The Smiler, TMNT Shellraiser, Monster, Hangtime, I mean it just goes on.

Technically, Expedition Everest held the record for the most expensive coaster until Hagrids at Universal was built and I believe then new Guardians of the Galaxy ride will be the longest indoor coaster. Nothing really mind-blowing though.

this just goes to show that rollercoasters are safer not based on how extreme it is, but on how much maintenance and regulations it is operated under. 99% of accidents on rollercoasters are due to negligence.
I’ve only ever been on Top Thrill Dragster at cedar point 4 times and all 4 times it ended up going backwards at the top before they had to send us off a second time
Well it physically can't roll down the lift hill because every lift hill either has safety spikes to catch it or the train is LITERALLY attached to the lift

Because it’s the same coaster type, it’s called a gerstlauer euro fighter 😁 most of them have the same drop, which is the vertical lift and then drop, so yes you are correct!
It makes sense how takabisha is insane because it means domineering, a launch then to a vertical lift hill stops when your facing down then drops 121 degrees
The even more terrifying thing is at the apex, there is a complete voor like structure, you cant see the track and it feels as if you're going to fall.
Went to this park Christmas Day 2022, only Eejainaika was open, but it remains the 2nd best coaster I’ve ever ridden, behind Steal Vengeance, obviously.
It wasn't. Not even close. That ride was built in 2009; the first roller coaster to have a beyond-vertical drop was Vild-Svinet at BonBon-Land, which opened in 2003. Several more beyond-vertical roller coasters opened after that, THEN Saw.
